    Is the decision making moment pretty clear before it happens (so as to save the game)? Are the paths actually different "gameplay"/story-wise or is it "Kill the king, steal his Sword of Power and give it to the witch" vs. "Kill the king, steal his Shield of Power and give it to the sorceress"?

    TW 2 won't be that different so you might still enjoy it. Or you can just go ahead and play TW 3 to see if it makes you want to play the first two games. I actually completed TW 3 before playing 1 and 2.

    Yes, I too would suggest newcomers to start from TW3, see if they like the lore. TW1/2 aren't going away, one can always play them later. And (luckily or unfortunately) the story doesn't really require to play the previous games to fully understand what's going on. There will be some things, but much.
    I player 1>3>2 and one only once felt like I didn't understand what's going on.

    well i just bought the witcher 3. thing is, i wanna play all the games in 4k. my laptop handles witcher 1 in 4k fine. gotta wait for a desktop to play 2 and 3 in 4k max

    770M with 280+core and 920+ memory (hardware mod), W3 runs constant 30 fps (28 minimum in novigrad with cpu oc) maxed out with Hairworks off and foliage to medium (all postfx maxd out aswell) @1080p. Use the 30 fps limiter, the game engine will adjust (increase drawcalls update/s?), and it will look much smoother with no mouse/controller to screen latency which is really important for gaming experience, latency is almost like 60fps...
    I think CPU counts aswell, especially in novigrad, had +5 fps increase with CPU OC (4.6ghz 4700mq) in novigrad.

    Also, motion blur is really important with 30fps frame limiter,tiny stutters (on 60hz display) are invisible to eye that way...

    apparently my mods no longer work so I won't have Photo mode for Blood and Wine so it means I'll have to wait for the mod, or the console enable thing, to get updated.

    yes, just make sure to check if you have the sync option in Properties -> Updates turned on. I remember Steam automatically downloaded my saves when I reinstalled it.

    Toussaint is so beautiful. New monsters are quite challenging as well. Sadly, I have some bug with Gwent so I can't play it.

    so did I during my first playthrough and most of the second. Well, if you play it after finishing everything else then you're gonna miss some cards.

    it could be quite fun, not so balanced though.

    Did you have any Gwent mods installed?
    I had one of them, it corrupted my save, so I restarted B&W with clean save. Had to redo the first hour, but better safe than sorry.

    Ugh, I really need to play The Witcher 3. I'd had The Witcher 1 and 2 on the backburner for so long though, and I don't want to skip them. Then there's the fact that The Witcher 3 probably won't run well for me. Hmmm.

    hmm, has anyone managed to win a fistfight in BnW, not the Fist of Fury quest? Playing on NG+ and all my opponents are lvl ?? while my level is 71 and quest level requirement is lower than my level.

    tried two fistfights. In one, my opponent can beat me with just one hit and the ring is supper small and cramped. The other where my opponentS are greatly weaker (need 2 hits to beat me) and the ring is quite larger. Don't wanna reload 20 times to beat them though because the game doesn't save at the start of each fight.

    while fighting monsters is getting more interesting, fistfighting is just ridiculous.

    Also, kinda disappointed Tesham Mutna set came without a silver sword.
    Otherwise I'm in love with this addon!

    P.S. did anyone encounter a beg when you place Viper set on display it turns red?

    Yeah fist fights are pretty hard right now, but this is a good thing since spamming light attack isn't an option anymore. Just use Alt to back off wherever they attack, roll when you are encircled and don't spam attack. Wait for one of your enemies to be isolated from the rest, wait for him to attack, counter then hit like mad. Repeat this and you will be good. ( I recommend using the Thunderbolt potion for increased attack power)

    I didn't know I could use potions and food during those "quest fistfight." Get off the first one by spamming heavy attack but that's not the kind of challenge I'm looking for. Still, getting knocked out with just one hit from some human is ridiculous. Understand CDPR's intention but can't justify that.

    Actually my mistake. Many fistfight don't let you use potions. But still, the rest of advice is valid. Just dodge and counter.

    I just finally finished the main story, fantastic. This game is so well crafted, Bethesda has its work cut out for it with Elder Scrolls 6.

    I don't think it really matters how good is TW3, I have no doubt TES6 will be successful as ever. Just look at FO4. It's a very shallow game, yet sold well and people seem to like it, "because Bugthesda."

    Well, it is Geralt's first house ever, and like he said, he doesn't know much about owning houses, so I would assume he would put a few of his monster head trophies on display. I mean, he has one hanging on Roach, so why no put some at home?
    Or maybe B.B. was against that idea :D

    880M is more than enough. I can't believe anyone would rob themselves of experiencing this game. It's definitely one of the best CRPG's ever created.

    Man, that Aerondight silver sword is totally OP. Think I might use it with Tesham Mutna set, since it doesn't come with a silver sword of its own.

    Hmmm I know it doesn't equal an 880M, but what single GPU does 755M SLI compare to anyways? It's probably to weak a GPU to run The Witcher 3 regardless.
