*Toussaint. Well, which is French as I heard.

There is a dialogue that Geralt complains about being naked in the picture but your Geralt was already nearly naked so not sure if the dialogue would still be the same.

    It's a figure of speech.

Yup, he still complained about being naked in the picture, and I was "WTH, Geralt, you were naked while posing for the painting..."
Well OK, maybe he wasn't completely naked. He still had his underpants and swords on...

does anyone see Geralt making comments such as "Damn, something is seriously wrong here" or "Dammit" when wandering in Toussaint's wilderness?

maybe sometimes it's near some map marker but not sure if it's the cause.

Yeah I saw it, and I think it's a great addition. He usually does it near haunted places (like a very eerie house where a disguised bruxa is), or places with wraiths.

Man, fist fights are really hard in B&W. I'm level 48 and still get my ass handed to me in that quest, except for the first fight.
Guess I will start playing main story quest again, since everything else is completed... Well, except for Gwent quest.

Did like the ending of that Tufo monster quest
I ratted out the wife for lulz, and then I followed the husband. He gave her one hour to pack her stuff. After hearing the bad news she ran to the nearby statue and started to sob :D
Should wait an hour, see if she left or not :D

EDIT: nevermind, finished the Fists Of Fury quest. Colossus wasn't too bad, if you agreed to his proposal, but Stillwaters was tough. Took me a few attempts before I managed to win.
Heck, even Maestro fight wasn't that hard compared to Stillwaters.
I also expected the fight with Maestro to go differently.
I expected for him to just pass out in the middle of the fight :D

Welp, just finished main B&W story, got the ending I wanted. Overall this expansion is fabulous. Still have some minor things to wrap up.
But the look on Geralt's face in the ending cutscene! Sure gonna miss you, buddy, after I'm done with TH3...
The thing I'm talking about, 22:13

Anyway, found a nice mushroom quest, very good indeed.

Which difficulty you were playing? I'm playing on broken bone and spamming heavy punch works just fine. I did it all all on first try's with barely receiving any hits.

Death March without enemy level scaling. Punches on DM do not so much damage, but you receive a lot in return.

    Hey guys

I finally got back to playing Witcher 3 again after beating a few games I had in my backlog.
I have both expansions to play (already beaten the main game with 99% of content completed...) BUT considering I hadn't touched the game since last July, I decided to restart from scratch...

I am playing on B&BB, New Game+. I started from level 35 with level scaling off. What surprised me from the get go was that the enemies I faced from the very beginning were 2-3 levels above me, which soon turned to +10 levels.
This added quite the challenge which I am not complaining about but I just can't find anyone else to confirm whether what I am facing is some "glitch" or if it's normal. Other people on NG+ are telling me that the enemies they face are similarly leveled or under-leveled.
I am using a FastAttack-Alchemy build which compensates quite a bit and absolutely slaughter everything in my way. The only enemies I can't touch are the numerous level ?? I am facing (these were VERY rare on my first playthru by the way, but now I am encountering quite a bit...). I did beat a few but it's not worth the stress as they can 1 hit kill me or in the case of Ghouls for example, regenerate HP extremely fast...

Anyway, this 2nd playthru only confirms that Witcher 3 was and still is one of the best games ever made. Just wish we could see more of Cyberpunk soon....

it's normal for NG+ monsters to be very high level. I started NG+ at lvl 40 and there are still ??? lvl monsters (not that common though). Main quest is under-leveled unless you do them first. Side quests and contracts will be at the same level as yours or higher.

afaik, the lvl scaling in TW 3 only scales up.

I am not using level scaling.

And even main quests were a few levels above me. The good thing is I am leveling super fast so I am already level 50 (still in Velen). But Skellige (sp?) shows up as a level 65 main quest. I am positive I'll reach that level once I am done with Novigrad and all the side quests I'll get in between but this is just an example of what I am facing.
I heard one guy who started NG+ as a level 100 was facing the impossible task of facing enemies leveled even higher than that and of course, in his case, it is impossible for him to level up further than that.

actually using BaW saddles doesn't really fix the missing mane but using Knight errant or Five virtues one, which covers her mane, and then switching back to other saddles works for me, even HoS or base game saddles.

you could try this for your tail bug.

    what's special at 22:13?

    how did you get that?

I gwent the rescue Syanna from the land of a thousand fables path so I had to fight Dettlaff first, in which Syanna escaped thanks to the ribbon, *don't remember how she got out of the land of a thousand fables again*, then the two sisters met and their survival depended on what dialogue options I chose.

also, in the fight with Dettlaff, sometimes he did very little damage, especially in his bat form that he kept striking from above. Well, in general, monsters and bosses in BaW sometimes do very little damage with their special attacks/skills. Not sure if it's just a bug or CDPR adjusted it.

Regis talks about adventures Geralt had and so on, and Geralt says that he doesn'to do anything right now and deserves a bit of rest. At the last moment Geralt looks at you and smiles.
I duno, but I took that as a bit of fourth wall breaking. A lot of fans asked for more TW3 content, but CDPR said that this will be the last and they wanted some rest from Geralts adventure. So that entire ending part sounded like a "thank you and goodbye" message from CDPR

the shop girl (can't remember her name) in the land of thousand fables had the ribbon. I think I paid 500 to get it back for Syanna. Had no idea what it was until detlaff tried to kill her then she just vanished when she was attacked by him. The ribbon falls to the ground and Geralt says "the ribbon!". Then this is where detlaff loses his shizz and blames me for interfering and Regis takes my side. Battle ensues where I eventually fight detlaff. Syanna got out of the land with my help. It was a whole drawn out quest line with multiple tasks and stuff.

If it's just all the DLC and the game bundled together it's useless to those with a season pass. Hopefully they come up with a reason for us to buy it again. Just finally finishing it I'm kind of burnt out of it right now.

I kinda wonder if this GOTY will be something like EE, and how they are planning to upgrade for people who don't completely own the package.
I do doubt they will just blatantly ask for the money for the second time though.

Yes, because there wasn't already enough content in the game+expansions.
C'mon now, don't get greedy. I know, some stuff could have been better/differently, but CDPR already included a lot of stuff in their games, more than their competitors...
