Mixing it up, Overwatch, DooM, 7 Days to Die - and a heck of a backlog.

I love the RE series. Played every one through except 4 and some of the spin offs. 6 was weird.. I didn't like how easy it was with melee but still a solid game in coop.

The new RE engine looks pretty amazing. Like... Not a game I'd want to play in a dark room in the house by myself kind of business.. Lol

Ahh awesome. I haven't seen any videos yet. It would be nice to see them make it more of a adventure and survival horror like the earlier ones. I loved always having to really make every shotgun shell count.

The RE7 teaser is a PS4 exclusive right now (PS Plus actually) but it's just meant to show what the new engine can do. It's not a long demo but it has two endings and it has the creepy factor like crazy. The stuff in the teaser won't factor into the actual game. It reminds me of the way the Silent Hill playable teaser came out before the project was shut down entirely. The PT engine looked awesome too so I was really bummed about it getting canceled. I'd say the new RE7 engine is a touch behind what PT had but it's smooth while PT had frame drops. They both make my PS4 sound like a rocket taking off though, really pushing that AMD APU...

    This one's from E3 if you're curious:

I kinda liked RE5, though I never played the earlier ones so couldn't be disappointed in that way.

    Need For Speed Underground 2.
Why EA can't make a decent NFS game is a mystery to me. They have all the required ingredients. Take NFSU2, remove SUVs, add dynamic day and night cycles and cops. That's pretty much it. Oh and please no story or FMV, and always online rubbish!

I played a little Warhammer Vermintide the other night. It was alot of fun. I recommend it to anyone who likes to play coop games. It's alot like L4D with a bigger focus of melee.
Hopefully I'll get a good session in tonight with a couple of mates.

    anyone play Black Desert Online?

    thinking about picking it up.

Overwatch is pretty cool, but i stopped playing it because i was disappointed that such a new game doesn't support 3440x1440.

hopefully they get off their lazy butts and fix it because their excuses for not supporting a resolution that's getting more popular is just stupid.

Vermintide is really fun. I played it quite alot at beta and release and return to it once in awhile. It´s one of those games I always have installed.

It also differs from L4D in it´s progression in form of a loot system.

dark souls if you want a game that will make you pull your hair out, cuss, rage and feel extremely satisfied as you progress.

as Killkenny said, Dragon-age origins and all the DLC is incredible, i played dragon-age 2 and its a completely different game, still fun but not of the same caliber as origins, and i didn't enjoy Inquisition very much unfortunately.

Well in good old days, i have done "knife only" and "invisible enemy" runs of RE games. But now i have lost the patience and stamina to do try really hard challenges. So i guess i will choose DA over DS.

Both are quite good. Dark Souls games (especially 1 and 3) are known for their high degree of difficulty.

Dark Souls 3 is game-of-the-year material. (at this point no game even comes close IMHO)

Now wish this weapon of mass destruction would be released as DLC for Doom 2016. C'mon, id Software, make it happen! 666/10 would pay €4,99!

DA:O was I think the one that I appreciated the most in total.
DA:2 stuff gets weird, the battle system at least to my preference got a bit better but as far as quests go, Origins outclasses it.
Currently going through Inquisition and Witcher 3 B & W at the same time, rip

Isn't Doom 2016 easy enough? With a weapon that powerful you no longer need to aim or bother dodging... all the demons just hear that and kill themselves to avoid the torture. :)

Around 24 hours in DA Inquisition. Loved origins, 2 was a bit meh. Really enjoying inquisition. Far too many games to get through so thought id stick with this for a good 100hours or so then onto the witcher 3 me thinks.

Doom 2016 even at it maximum difficulty is quite mild for challenge. There is no need to make it easier.

A gold medal means you did the best on your team in that respect. So gold in eliminations means top fragger. Gold in objective kills means I killed the most while defending/attacking the objective. Top healer means I healed the most through character abilities. Etc. And play of the game means it picked something I did in a 20-second timeframe in the match to showcase at the end. So I basically got the highest in all 5 possible areas and POTG in one match; it's not possible to get more decorations.
