Bah. You want mobsters around here? You go to Springfield.
Only half serious. Springfield has had significant problems with organized crime, worse than Boston in fact, but things have improved dramatically in the past decade.

Oh yeah... several of the old guys I play with were in a clan together years ago when Medal of Honor was popular and we migrated into COD games. We played up tilll modern warfare after that they all went to the crapper. We have three Outlaw servers now that stay full. In the server browser there are at any given time 500-700 servers online still.

Going to have an old man yells at cloud moment, but I honestly feel like modern arena FPS shooters just don't capture skill like old games used to.

I honestly feel that being good at Overwatch is not good enough to translate to being good at some older games, namely UT and mostly Tribes.

This is from Tribes 1, released in 1998, possibly before a lot of youngin's on the site were born. This kind of physics-based skill is just not apparent in games anymore.

It's the combination of speed, slow projectiles, and remember, this was in 1998. Net code was horrendous, lag and PL was a given.

Most people who grew up on Quake / UT / Tribes et. al. (that generation) find games like Overwatch, Battlefield 4 / 1, what have you, a bit of a piss take.

Finished the three Generation Xth (Operation Abyss/Babel) games. Main stories anyway; I'm ignoring the super-grind post-ending content. I figure it's time to kick it old school with Wizardry VI-VII.

Not much, but it's like you are just walking and listening stories. Puzzles and fights are just their way to extend the duration of the game.
But I recommend it. Awesome atmosphere.

Hellblade is on my "to-buy" list.

PAX Prime (West) cos i'd never been to the US before.
PAX AUS because it's closer and I don't need a passport or a crap-ton of money to go. Plus going to the first PAX AUS is good.

Bah-stan, not until Trump is kicked out of the White House that POS!

Recently finished Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Third Chapter. I bought it around when it first came out a few months ago but only really got time to play it this month. Now just waiting on Zero and Ao localization...

Played Ghost Recon Wildlands for a couple of hours. Then I remembered why I quit playing it in the first place - it's so boring!

I'll be running through First and Second chapters again before starting Third but like you I picked it up on Day 1. I'll bump them to the top of the list when I want to dedicate a few months to them :).

I haven't heard anything about Zero/Azure being localized but we got Trails of Cold Steel ported to Windows and Cold Steel II coming soonish. No word on a Windows port of Cold Steel III yet, but it's a fairly recent PS4 release so it might be a while if at all.

I'm fairly confident we'll get the whole Cold Steel arc ported over, as its a major moneymaker for XSeed. I'm just worried about the Crossbell games. I know English patches exist for Zero and Ao but, I'm debating whether or not I should wait for a full localization.

I'd say whichever platform you like better. Same game either way.

I saw Prey was on sale on Steam for 50% off... I may go for that.

I ended up getting it from GOG since they were charging in my local currency and not in USD like steam.

And it looks like there's a free 1hr trial for Prey. Looks like I'll be trying that out to see if I think it's worth buying at 50% off. It's right up my alley and I like everything Arkane has done since Arx, so I probably didn't need to think twice.

Don't forget 60+ FPS animations! (Original Combat Evolved animations were locked at 30 FPS). Can't believe CMT finally released it after all these years. SPV3.1 was the Black Mesa for me, I was as giddy as a little kid on Christmas.

Just finished GTAV on PC after have bought it for ps3, ps4, and finally PC on launch each time. Can't believe it took me this long but I honestly was off and on with it and restarted 3 times.

Now I'm deciding between Soma or Mafia 3 next.

Just finished replaying Life is Strange. I probably will get the prequel that's being released soon. On third chapter of the newest Walking Dead. Chapter games are like books, I can pause and come back later. Still playing Fallout 4 with 130+ mods- this is starting to turn into Skyrim. I just realized I never played any of the DLC for Wicher 3-where was my mind?
