You're probably the fifth or sixth person to bring that up lately, I think I'm going to have to dive back in, so to speak.

I've seen some other people say the VR is not so great but I really like the regular version.

I'll give both a shot, see how it goes. It was mostly that it was very buggy in VR, and clipping issues there are very disorienting. If they've fixed that it's probably fine.

Anyone else here has "Escape from Tarkov"? I'm looking for people who are pretty much masochists and good at FPS so we dont get brutally slaughtered by fully geared PMCs every time.

Also... PUBG is getting easier. Back to back wins last week.

PC: Escape From Tarkov (I dont think I can get off of this game... its basically a Roguelike FPS that I always wanted to play), PUBG (my time killer when I want to mess around), CSGO (aim practice)

Console: Monster Hunter World (PS4, the ONLY game that revived the system for me since Bloodborne DLC).

I was just looking to see if Tarkov had some SP style thing since you mentioned roguelike. Made sense that it doesn't, but it would be pretty cool if there was something like Everspace but fps based.

Still have no idea what roguelike means...

Ditto. Wish it had a SP component. Interesting concept, but MP only is not for me...

The game has an "Offline" mode for raids if you want to practice. There is no real single player experience outside of that as in its current state, the game is a Free-For-All against AI and players alike in the name of loot and survival. The goal is to sell the loot obtained in the instance/raid to the traders and buy gear you want/need to level them up so you can get higher tier gear.

Rogue-like is the idea of when you die, you lose everything on you. The game requires you to be on your toes and A-game with each encounter.

A dungeon crawl game like Rogue such as Hack/Nethack, Larn, Mines of Moria and a very, very, very long list of successors. Notable features are the randomly generated dungeons (as distinct from games with static maps like the Wizardry and Ultima series) and permadeath.

The contemporary buzzword version is frequently (mis)used to mean any game with randomly (procedurally) generated maps even when those games are not Rogue-like dungeon crawls.

Not really a PC game atm but enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles 2 quite alot 110h in and only about halfway through the game, story is enjoyable so far but the gameplay is addicting after you get the hang of it, played some Dragonball FighterZ but only about 6h since release.

Still been playing Dirt Rally VR and Overwatch. I haven't played Overwatch since the patch on Tuesday, though. I'm curious to see how Mercy is now, as she's my most (but not only!) played character.

She's not dead, but rez is a lot more risky now, even during ult. I haven't played her much since S2 and not at all since Moira launched and I'm mostly DPS, but I've noticed she seems to have a lot less effect on a battle now. Still useful, but not as essential now.

Yeah, she already had the slow rez before Tuesday which I didn't mind much. The insta-rez during Valkyrie was nice, though. Removing that plus the extra rez charge would have been a sufficient nerf, IMO. It's cool, I actually enjoy her play style, and probably won't stop playing her. I have been enjoying Pharah and Junkrat lately, though.

Finally got around to playing some Mercy this weekend. She's still good, IMO. I'm actually fine with the rez changes, but I kinda miss the bigger speed boost. I still like playing her, though.

Haven't really tried her out yet, but from a DPS perspective, she's almost too easy to kill now. I'm split on how I feel about that, because while on one hand I can shut her down with almost no effort, on the other I'm missing that tactical rez in the middle of a fight instead of waiting until the fight has moved on or I have respawned.

Finished everything I care to in Wolfenstein 2 until the 3rd DLC comes out. They really need to do a Silent Assassin spin-off. It felt almost like getting a taste of No One Lives Forever 3.

Back to finishing Divinity: OS.. the first one..

A lot of the hardcore fanbase got a major case of butthurt over the ending to V3. I actually quite enjoyed it, but now aside from maybe a sequel to Ultra Despair Girls and a proper English translation of the Danganronpa: Zero manga, I think it's about time that Spike Chunsoft put this franchise to bed.

If you don't feel like grinding through Ultimate Talent Development Plan and its related JRPG dungeon crawler, hit me up. I have a fully unlocked save file you can use if you only want to see the scenes of the characters from all three games interacting with each other.

It's not like SC didn't foreshadow it. The initial introductions and the resolution of the first trial are big signs telling us, the players, that Monokuma's killing games aren't what we think they are.

Nah, I'm good. I rather like JRPG dungeon crawlers.

We were only shown an icon on desktop and how to open it, that's all.
No coding and other things at all. All we did was memorize the code and write it in exam because none had an idea how to work on it. All my classmates did not even have a PC incl. me.
