After getting an fps boost with my new rig I'm back to playing a little bit of Overwatch and Dishonored 2, all these steam sales too! might go and snag Dark Souls 3

I remember before I was playing Dishonored 2 on my laptop getting good fps but at tweaked medium-high settings. Now I'm rocking Very High at 140-220fps+ :D :D :D

Seriously, at this point I think my Agent 47 should get a cool nickname, as pretty much all assassinations have the same MO. The drowner? Nah, too simple... Number 2 killer? Too vulgar... Plumber? Ehhhh... The flusher... Hmmm, I might be onto something...

Ok I'm a bit late to the party with this title but downloaded and getting stuck into Elder Scrolls V Skyrim today.

Reminds me a bit of Everquest, and boy did I spend some time on that game - I even had 2 pc's and phone lines (US Robotics 56k modems) and used to 'power level' lower characters up with my Druid. Good times.

Got a lot to learn but thats part of the fun, and quite enjoying it so far and hopefully it tides me over until the next big titles released.

Yes please and try to encourage your friends to play it also. (Tagging @killkenny1 , @hmscott) . Let's help the game survive this generation of casual gaming. We need skill base AFPS!

Just a warning the game have some technical issues and may frustrates you due to lack of tutorial and very high skill cap. If you're new 100% you'll get rekt. 1st step to success is learning strafe jumping.

This video from the best quake player of all time is a good start for you to learn the movement scheme of the game.

there is a lot more tutorial vid in youtube if that one is not enough for you.

Lastly watch the videos below to see what can you expect and experience playing this beautiful game!

Watching the gameplay videos, Overwatch looks much more fun... The whole idea that to be competitive one should must be proficient with a whole range of different in-game weapons vs getting awayt with specializing in few of them, feels outdated. \=

Lol, I feel the exact opposite. The extremely heavyhanded way Overwatch forces teamwork by making each player/hero individually very weak/specialized and reliant on teammates in order to effectively influence the outcome is so unfun to me. Any game where your enjoyment is dependent on the other players, I run away from. Back in the day, I found far more excitement in taking over servers in Halo, arena shooters, CoD, Battlefield, etc. by myself or with a small group of friends. Because those games make the individual player a powerful entity, so there is far more emphasis on individual skill/coordination. OW isn’t even a shooter really, it’s a first-person MOBA. It reminds me of another “shooter” that isn’t really a shooter, which is Rainbow Six: Siege, as that game more emphasizes the synergy between different operators and fortifications building than actual rootie tootie.

My pure mage playthrough (no bow sneaking) was the most difficult one by far. Don't worry, you'll be sneaking with a bow just like everyone else does soon enough...

Did they ever rebalance direct magic? I recall even Destruction magic not being terribly destructive, compared to the power of enchanting and alchemy being used to craft items of brokennness combined with even more broken damage multipliers from stealth. You could use dual-casting lightning streams and with the right enchantments on items do it without spending mana, but the DPS of even Master-level spells was not amazing.

Yep, it's like you've been watching over my shoulder - I'm sneaking around with a bow as my spells do so little damage at the moment!

I'm going to have a look at Enderal after Skyrim - it looks really good, thanks.

This information somehow missed me during my first Skyrim run. I did it with a 2h weapon with very little archery and even less sneaking, and was quite pleased with my Dovakhiin Kenny.

The problem is you really need to stick with it and use the spells as that's how you increase the level of the various magic schools.

"Outer Worlds" should be out sometime this year and, given that it's by Obsidian, will probably have interesting characters and some decent plot lines.

After playing 2 days just cause 4, the game is finished.

    Exhaustive but fun.
Lagging pos especially during big scenes.
The end kept going and going.

What's more concerning, was the credits at the end, and how many people made this game.

    Crazy...

Oh, I love these threads :D I am an avid gamer through and through xD I play so many games one after the other. In fact right now, I have World of Warships minimized on the background while I casually browse around in this forum (in port of course). :) While also redownloading my BF3 through origin, alongside updating my Company of Heroes on Steam. xD

So far my GT75 has run flawlessly in all games I have played. Never gets over 73c, sitting on a desk.
