    RE2 seems to be getting a lot of praise. The RE mechanics and camera always drove me mad, I never even finished RE4 even though I did like it.

    Wandered into the muck and mire of Steam Early Access and picked up "Ground Branch". Seems good for extremely tense scenarios, since even a single slight mistake can lead to you getting dropped by a burst of rifle fire from an enemy that you failed to notice (and there's no revive or respawn -- if you're downed, that's it). AI is still unsurprisingly wonky, though.

    This is how it is for me with an FPS cap at 60fps using an i7 8750H + GTX 1070 with the ultra preset + AA set to TAA.

    I recently started my second run as Leon. The fps is mostly stable except for the times where some weapons have some crazy effects or a monster's attack will cause the fps to tank.

    things like claire's shock gun, shoving grenades into a zombie's mouth and shooting it will all cause the fps to suddenly drop dramatically.

    Similar settings to how I customized the demo. I dropped Image Quality to 90% when I played at 4K and got locked 60fps with my GTX1080. I wonder if the final game will fare the same...

    i don't know but all my games dip into the 40s in some scenes and I have a 1070mq.

    and games that require 60fps are usually locked in at 60fps on console......just sayin
