just booted up crysis remastered played and beat the third level relic was fun and the most gaming ive done in a while....took me an hour..I swear if I didnt have the rocket launcher at the end it would be impossible to beat...they take like 1 second of auto fire and hit your head even if your moving and cloaked....Im starting to think crytek has brain damage...they made it look better but you cant even save your progress...why the hell are they trying so hard to be mainstream(money aside) they made millions by being cutting edge and fun not mainstream.....if it aint broke dont freeking fix it lol..

I was playing Agent Intercept which is a high octane vehicular combat game with a james bondy story which is pretty fun all around. Kind of like a more fleshed out outrun type of game. Great firewatch type graphics. I'm pretty sure it's a mobile game so kind of limited but still fun to play.

Looking around for info on the upcoming Stalker 2, I ran across something very cool.

It's called Stalker Anomaly, it's sort of a fan made mod but includes most of the previous full stalker games. Graphics looks ok, dare I say even good. I played around for a little while and that Stalker feeling came back very quickly. Within the first 30 mins, I died in two anomalies and a few more times to bandits.

I think it's worth checking out, I may even play through the story and explore. Very detailed and so many options to customize to everyone's liking.

I started ripping my UMD's off my psp and playing them on my PC.

So final fantasy tactics war of the lions for "pspish" lol.

They really need to port these games.

I agree, I'd pay for older games like Parasite Eve again which I already bought digitally on PSP. I have some of the older FF games too on PC already but they are all tied to Steam or whatever DRM.

Yea, my computer has been struggling a lot on newer games so I have been returning to older stuff. FFT was my go to. and since I cant buy them I'll just rip them off. and it helps me preserve them too as the screen in my psp 3000 is dying due to battery swelling issues.

Getting a small ways into AC:Origins. I like the new setting, can't wait to get into one of those pyramids. I flew Senu over the Giza site just to take a look at it.. *rubs hands together*. I actually also installed Fallout 4 just to get a little Bethesda fix, I probably won't go too far into that before uninstalling it. Also installed Dark Alliance since it's on GamePass just to see what all the mixed reviews are about, haven't actually started playing it yet though.

    Finished the alien isolation.
Started off a tad boring, but soon picked up.
The alien AI and atmosphere is scarily brilliant.
Certainly with 19 missions is long but in conclusion the ending leaves you wanting more.

GG and highly recommended with Bluetooth headphones and nightly gaming - the latter the better.

Not 100% sure it's worth the price now, it definitely was when it was $4.99/mo.. I think maybe $1.99 to start?

I will say I do go look at it before buying anything just to see if the game is on there. Lol.. That's also something GoG Galaxy is good at, you can connect the XBLive account to it and see the "subscription" games in one place, actually makes it a lot easier to browse them than MS's own stuff.

EDIT: have to take that back.. the new XBox app makes that pretty easy. I have a separate account for my PC and XBox because back a while ago it was a little bit of a nuisance to use one account for both XBox on PC and on console. That's probably better now than it was, but I just logged into the XBox app with my PC account instead and it's not bad.. Galaxy is still a little more straightforward and just outright lists all the games without the silly categories.

state of decay 2 sp, I just don't get it, it must be much better online with others but that's not my thing. All the constant reminders to do this and that/chores as a game, the "feelings" type of stuff, just can't get into it and I'm past the training part, no real story tbh. A subliminal marxist sjw pos to me. Dying Light still the greatest zombie game ever imo.

Hit or miss lately for me, have not been back to YakuzaLAD for a while, yeah Y0 the first one I played started off slow too, but that had an interesing outcast/crime story and characters with the salt of seriousness on one hand and the pepper of whacky side stories on the other. YLAD just is corny so far and I now have all 4 party members. My current replay of TW3 is going great, same great game it always was, with some evident not so good 2015 textures here and there but no worries lol

I dunno lol for some reason I kinda want to wait before playing it all out to get everything ironed out.. might as well wait for the GotY edition :D

I can play it with little/no issues on my desktop but seeing all the improvements they've been doing its like I want to hold off to finish it.

    Game Release = Alpha
    Bug Fixes = Beta

After the wash- rinse - repeat cycle of going through different missions, keanu reeves became very annoying in this game in contrast to Judy.
Instead of getting more Judy we got more keanu.

I didnt mind it so much, although I tend to only play like one main mission a night and the rest is just random side missions and such so I could see how some may not like it when you do a 3-4+ hour sessions

Tried again Cod Modern Warfare MP after a 6 months break but i think one day was enough, going back to BF5, for some reason, even its one of the weakest BF games i enjoy it more as COD.
And started DOOM Eternal, but im playing only occasionally.

Adding Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 to this list.

I don't usually like switching between games in the same period but to be honest all three of these are so much fun. Just discovered Sniper Ghost Warrior and it's surprisingly satisfying. This and Stalker Anomaly actually make me want to revisit Tarkov (which is still on the "I regret buying" list but that's another discussion).

Had a coupon for a 14 day Xbox Pass trial so decided to give it a go.
Naturally installed Halo MCC and playing through the first Halo. So far got mixed feeling about the game. On one hand it has a pretty good production value, nice gameplay and a proper 21:9 support (a lot of modern games fail at that unfortunately), but the level design is pretty lacking. It's also responsible for two of my most loathed things in FPS - two weapons limit and regenerative health (it's just a regenerative shield).

I bought a 50in QLED by TCL and its motion handling and image quality for 528 cad from walmart is insane..so I hooked everything up and tried forza horizon 4 and a a few other games....lag was terrible but i noticed the signal was at 30hz so I changed that to 60hz and bam the lag was completely gone and im getting like 10ms lag which is well under noticeable..I have yet to try 1080p 60hz as my piece of crapola tuf fx505dt laptop only does 4k30 not 60 and at 1080p it does 60hz but 1080p from like 10 feet back looks great...not sure why 8k tvs are coming out but hey each to their own..I guess if your glasses are touching the screen it will look sharper.

FH4 I will check out at 60hz and should have some fun....what are you guys up too

Doom Eternal: Ancient Gods Part 1. I think I just suck at FPS games these days I'm playing on "Too Young To Die" and I still sometimes can't make it out of the intense arenas.

You should try to get your hands on a 144Hz screen, at least to see how it feels. I'm playing everything on a "tiny" 17 inch laptop at 144Hz and I have a 24 inch monitor sitting around gathering dust. I tried to hook it up but while the 2k resolution is cool, I could feel a huge amount of lag playing at 60Hz. The difference was extremely noticeable and much much worse experience.

Started GreedFall and despite a lot of jankiness and SJW garbage it's not too bad, the graphics are kinda cool in that they have a softness to them evident outside the towns. The annoying "camera" effects can thankfully be turned off. Really janky facial graphics/animation and lipsynch though. Feels like a mix between a 2015 and an early 2000's game lol 2k/60.

The original DKC for the SNES. This game has stood the test of time in my opinion and no other song can trump Aquatic Ambience.

Yeah, Stickerbush Symphony/Bramble Blast from DKC2 was also top tier, but Aquatic Ambience is just a bit better in my opinion. It's suits the underwater levels perfectly, even a bit too perfectly :D

I think you can deduce much of that just by observing what mass media/corps/gov etc is ramming down our throats for a long time but especially explicitly the last few years. Your typical secular humanist is blind/platos cave so there's no communicating with them sadly.

Sorry I really can't be more specific as it would be judged too political etc by the censors not worth the hassle in this forum/context. One has to have a very fine tuned perception to see it and that's not what you get from your typical modern education and society in general.

Espousing social justice is not in and out itself a bad thing and not specifically a political discussion as defined in the forum rules. I would agree a discussion of it, in and out itself, has no place here regardless.

Speaking to it's existence in a game world, however, in the form of an overly progressive "warrior" or subtext advocating censorship, reverse discrimination, that sort of thing; would be fair comment. Doing so would be no different than a warning about gratuitous nudity ,violence, etc. No one likes stupid.

If you have something to say, say it. It's not quantum mechanics; the "no one would understand" thing is drivel.

Oh c'mon, it's your fourth reply to us, and in my book this definitely means you feel something for me, hfm and krabman.
It's okay, don't be shy, you can admit it, no one will hurt you here, you're in... safe space... :D

Ok I'm bored this morning so in the interest of moving on.. I've really got into my replay of TW3 and am still impressed with the graphics, story, music pretty much everything. Of course it helps 6 years later to have equipment to play it at higher settings. Such a sad state looking at cp77 compared to it, what a waste should have just put more into another witcher game tbh there were a few other witchers in the game they could have done tangent games etc

He didn't respond to me; I may be at the bottom of the "not my faves" list. I always was an overachiever. :D
