On sale last time I checked at BestBuy $1050, but YMMV the official release date isn't until Jan 4.

I got a 2887 and It's been running perfectly so far...havent checked what bios i have yet but I don't plan on running raid yet so its not that big of deal. any other noticable benefits to the new bios?

 

So, I have decided to sell my refurb 7811. It is in great condition, no overheating and the screen has just a small light bleed at the right bottom.
I don't want to get rich on selling it, but I feel that $950+S&H is a fair price to ask. If you are interested PM me.
I also put it on Craigslist in LA area.

 

You're going to sell your used refurb for $300 more than what an unopened refurb costs after Live cash back? Maybe on Ebay.. but here? right......

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!I was one of the lucky ones to have bought a Tiger Direct refurb for 749.99 on 12-18 recieved 12-24. Perfectcondition. Added the matching 200 gig Seagate drive in raid for a total of 400 gigs. The very next morning I unwraped a Dell M1730 from my wife for Xmas.

You can have mine for 875.00 including FEDEX ground to the Lower 48. I was just going to keep the hard drive and send it back to Tiger for a refund???

 

Good price bro. Good luck with your sale. FYI people that's a great price as the market as of TODAY is dry. That doesn't mean you have to buy it. They may be available tomorrow. But who knows? Bump for the 950 plus ship. Definitely fair IMHO.

 

Good price here also. These two lappys for sale should put to rest some of the hunting and seeking that has been going on here for a while.

FYI people, I was offered more than either of the sale prices of these two lappys for all three of the 7811s I have. Many times over from MANY diff people. I even had one guy at a LAN party throw down cash. I am just so pleased with the performance of the ones I have that I am keeping them. Jump on these two iffin yer lookin fer one right now as the prices are FAIR IMHO. Bumpity bump.

So thats 875 including the extra HD and shipping? Wow I'm so tempted to buy, since my order from Tigerdirect was on backorder and eventually canceled.

 

I got in on the buy.com $15 off $75 and bought a matching Seagate for $75.06 after shipping and tax. Installed one of my copies of Vista Ultimate I got from the Feedback and Office 2007 Ultimate from the Ultimate Steal Deal. I have an all 5.9, including the HDD, but the CPU is at 5.2 That should change end of the Summer and I'm planning on getting a Blu-ray notebook drive ($300 at the egg). After all is said and done this is gonna be a kick a$$ notebook, not that it isn't already.

Yes that includes the extra hd installed and running raid. Plus Fedex ground to the 48 states. I'll wait till Friday if any one is interested then I'll ship it back to Tiger Direct.

 

Interesting so many people wanting my 7811s and offering me much more than I paid, even much more than this $875.00 price with extra HDD and ship included and now no one bites on this? I am actually glad I kept saying NO as it appears that I may have just created a "runaround" situation for myself. I honestly can't believe no one is jumping on this deal. You guys are something else. Put up or shut up I say!

Just so you two guys know I PMd and or emailed/IMd all 13 people I had contact info for that were interested in my 7811s for you. Just trying to help the cause. I just want to let you know many of them were relentless in hounding me day and night about purchasing my lappies. What a crock to all of you WHINERS out there. As the old saying goes: Money talks. I guess it wasn't money I heard talking just a few days ago. I surely hope someone jumps on these as they sure are a great deal.

As to condition: It's perfect. No matter how you look at it,( it's Flawless) just got lucky I guess. Every thing works just as it should. I did not buy this to play games with. Just wanted a nice 17" and I have enjoyed my 6864 fx. Ran across this forum in a search and saw the link for the 7811"s at TD and checked it saw they had some and bought it.... Had no idea my wife got me the M1730 from Dell for xmas. Sorry folks but all the lights and build of the XPS is just to much to pass up.

Yes the 875.00 includes the extra Segate 200 hd and ground shipping via Fedex.

Except for goodspeed who can have it for 850 just because...................

Really nice deal flynn. Thanks man! I guess I can use the $250 that I saved from buying a BestBuy 7805u to better use. After all like most thread say, there's little difference between the 7811 and 7805 and that most games wont be able to use the 1GB capabilities anyway (i'm not a really hardcore gamer, I just play DOTA, CS: S and DOD: S, nothing major).
