The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. I am occasionally on reddit but I prefer the ThrottleStop forum on TechPowerUp.

    The NBR-TS forum has been lots of fun for a lot of years but all forums are not a priority for me at the moment. It might take me a while to respond.

    Is there a chance you'll still do some black magic go 12th Gens?

    Hope everything is going well and thank you very very much for your contribution to the Intel users community. You should be granted a lifetime salary from Intel for what you did tbh.

    @unclewebb , Hello!
    Can you add a function to change the BCLK bus?
    Can you duplicate the function to change TPL PL1 in the main settings window? For a laptop, this is convenient as well as changing the Speed Shift - EPP.

    I will probably release a beta version in the near future that might support 12th Gen desktop and mobile CPUs. With no hardware for testing purposes, not yet sure how well it will work. I think access to the Performance and Efficiency cores and the voltages should work correctly.

    ThrottleStop to the rescue, I hope.

    Probably not. No time for any significant development at the moment.

    As there are 1351 pages on this thread, it is untenable to scroll through and try to piece together all the latest, most accurate guidance on the many functionalities of TS. Can anyone point me to a post or collection of posts (or an external link) that contain said information? I would like a as DEEP a set of knowledge as I can glean, as I have acquired a laptop worthy of attention and am soon to possess a water-cooled beast as well.

    Any help appreciated!!

    Oh, while scanning through some posts here, I came across a very sad one by who appeared to be the creator of TS. He opined how few people took advantage of an ability to send him some money for his efforts for the community. I would very much appreciate a link that would allow me to throw some Paypal his way!!

    Unclewebb is the creator and you can ask him as I don't remember if he still allows donations or not.

    There should be a few guides linked here and there (can't find links now).

    @unclewebb I plan on getting an Alder lake laptop in a few months, as soon as they'll get released and I can find a satisfying one so I'll try it out and report back on TPU forums in case of issues.

    Right now I repasted my 7820hk and I'm back to an almost fanless laptop thanks to throttlestop :D <3
