HP Envy 14: Availabilty, etc.

Hmm, I was hoping for a bit more than $200 off, but as long as it comes out to under $2000, I'm fine with it.

 

I'm trying for under 1300 if at all possible for what I want.

 

did HP ever issue a statement that they would be available for sale june 27th 12am EST?

 

Well, if the last release occurred at 1 AM PST... Sure, we've been waiting for quite a while, but can't you hold on for a little while longer?

Then again, if you're on the East Coast or in Europe or Africa, I could see your pain... I'm in China, so it's half past noon. Only thing is I plan on going fishing again in about 3 1/2 hours... Oh well, I don't think I'll be buying today anyway - I think I'm gonna hold out for a week for a good deal - 1 week = 4th of July = 4th of July sale? - so if there's going to be a good deal available before my window of opportunity closes, that's probably it (figuring on 1 month+ build time, and I'll only be in the States from early July to mid-August). Here's hoping for 25% BCB or a $300+ coupon in the next week...

 

My Dad works at HP, so I'm hoping for a 20-30% discount ordering through him.

California tax sucks though. 9.25%. I wonder if I can order from Montana to save on taxes, as I go there for 2 weeks in the summer every year.

 

I believe hp's website runs on Pacific Standar time...So all u on the east coast and stuff have to hold on a bit longer

Just tested it myself and it worked fine. You have to add it to your cart, and then there will be a box for the coupon code on the right (this is just me making sure you didn't just click a link for the code but actually put it in). If that doesn't do it, you might need to customize rather than taking the base config. The minimum purchase is $1299, but the base E15 should cover that.

 

You're probably trying to get the education discount and use the coupon... it won't work with both.

I was refreshing the page hopefully and somehow got two envy 15s to load- I'm on an ipod touch so the text was illegible at default zoom... Stupid glitchy wifi getting my hopes up

 

Hard to know - there's still that blasted Amazon model to make us think otherwise...
