HP Envy 15 - $450 Coupon of $1399

My estimated delivery date is May 4. So no, not me at least.

 

I was told my shipping was upgraded to 2-day. But my estimated is May 4th as well. meh..

Maybe it is 2-day shipping once it hits the United States... Anyone else familiar with this?

 

I went into their live chat and the agent processed the refund for the 10% + $50. I asked about the shipping and was told to contact their resolutions team phone line (1-888-227-8451). I guess I'll call them later today. If anyone has any luck with them on the phone let us know.

Looks like I am getting my replacement on the 3rd @ 10:30 AM. I think it was to make it on Friday of this week if the factory workers there didn't miss the last FedEx freight of the day.

Package received after FedEx cutoff (Delivery Exception).

 

Just spent 40 minutes on the phone with resolutions. They were completely lying about the 2 day shipping, and the 5-7 business day is what we are stuck with.

Needless to say, I had some very strong words for a few resolutions supervisors, and ended up getting another credit.

And does anyone else giggle a bit that this thread is still titled "Coupon 'of' $1399" 55 pages later...I figured someone would have pulled grammar police by now. (hint, its "off", not "of")

 

How much was the credit?

 

I'm still waiting on my replacement Envy to ship...The last two notebooks shipped eight days after I received the confirmation e-mail; however, this replacement was supposed to have "expedited" manufacturing, and it's been six. I'm starting to wonder if that's just something the HP reps tell you in order to pacify you about their screw ups, like the supposed upgrade to 2 day shipping. When I spoke with my rep, I made absolutely sure that was included when she place the order. Obviously this is nowhere near the wait those with the 430m processors had, but regardless, all of it's still ridiculous.

 

I just spoke to a representative, and since I ordered with a coupon and received the 10% discount for the delay, I was unable to receive the 2 day shipping. Since i actually hadn't been offered the 10% discount before, I didn't put up much of a fuss, but my new expected ship date is tomorrow so hopefully i'll have it soon. So just to send out a heads up to anyone expecting it: if you were told you were going to get 2 day shipping and already received the 10% off discount, they are going to ship your order standard (unless you paid for 2 day in the beginning, obviously)

 

Hey guys, is this offer still possible? The link does not refer to a $450 coupon anymore. With this coupon, it would be stupid to buy any other laptop. X_X

 

The coupon was fully used in its 1800 uses BrioCloud.

And I agree with you, with $450 off its simply the best bang for your buck.

 

wow, I would have been fine with normal shipping but why did they tell us we were upgraded to 2-day shipping because of all the delays and then not even do it? that's pretty shoddy

Edit: Ok, I just got off the phone with the resolution center and the lady told me it takes a couple days to get through customs and the 2-day shipping is for when it actually hits the US. I guess that makes sense.

 

$50. But I actually had a reference number for the 2 day shipping upgrade, not just a promised upgrade

Still no tracking for me either. I called yesterday and got the run around (again). All they ever tell me to do is call back in 24 to 48 hours. They seriously have NO idea what is happening.

 

I'm a bit envious that I didn't wait now, but my friend's laptop shipped out today even though it was estimated May 3rd. Good luck to the rest!

 

anyone have any idea of the cycle of when these coupons come out? I am set on either the envy 15 or the acer 3820tg or 4820tg.

 

They are pretty random to be honest with you. You best bet is to wait and hope you got lucky and the coupon comes out when you are at the pinnacle of buying.

basically, the base model with upgraded display to matte and 500gb hard drive. he or i didnt think it would ship on time, let alone early, so hes stoked.

Just go off the phone with a Fedex International Rep. That means this laptop can be signed by a neighbor if you request so. As much as I prefer that since I won't be home when they deliver, that is sure interesting as HP by contract with FedEx to only do Direct Signatures.

 

Looks like I'm getting the run around. Mine was supposed to ship on the 4/28. I talked to a rep yesterday and they said they would be getting me the info within 24 hours which passed by. I talked to a rep just now and they said they just finished building them today (4/29) and will get me the tracking info within 24 hours.

So it looks like I won't be able to receive the item until 1-2 weeks from now.

 

When did you order? If you ordered really recently, you won't get yours immediately as they just finished with orders from a month ago.

In the email they sent you with the tracking number. Underneath the tracking number is a Pre-Sign link

 

I will be at work when the fedex truck comes by. Is there a way to pick up the package myself the morning / evening of the delivery date ?

 

They typically leave a door tag with an address where you can pick it up after work.

 

In the email HP sent to you when it shipped the link is right below the tracking number.

4/6, got delayed from 4/15 to 4/21 to 4/28.

My three refunds posted today, one for free 2nd day shipping, one for the first delay, and another for the 10% for the second delay. First two came by themselves, the 10% I had to call them for. Nice try HP!

Seems all of ours are in the same shipment. It just left Alaska. Originally when I got the tracking # it said delivery by 10:30am tomorrow. Then it updated, picked up after cutoff, now it says 10:30am Monday

 

It still has to wait 24 hours because of customs I think.

I'm on the west coast.. so it might just get here a day before (probably not, I can dream though).

 

wooohooo my envy finally shipped. I got a biut nervous cause originally i had my order was delayed untill the 28th, then when i called I was told the 29th. I called today and was told my order was delayed until MAY 7th!!! Needless to say, I was a little upset. I planned on calling the resolution department tomorrow, but lo and behold I got an email at 1130 saying my order shipped. I guess HP finally got some more i core processors in...

 

Hmm...I've ordered CTO Envy 15's from HP direct 3 times and each time they seem to arrive about 1 week earlier than the estimated "build" date. Is it because I'm ordering i7? Or because I live in LA? They seem to go from Shanghai to Anchorage, then Oakland before they arrive in LA. My sympathies for anyone experiencing delays.

I returned the first one due to black screen issue, kept the second, and the third is for my wife, ordered April 19 during the bing cashback 25% offer (departed Oakland today and apparently about to arrive tomorrow, although it was scheduled to be built on May 7).

 

Do shipments going thru Alaska usually land more to the west? I imagine it makes more sense.. BUT this shipment landed in Newark NJ from Alaska, which is literally 40 miles from me. My Envy just arrived at my local Fedex office. I don't suppose Fedex will rush it to my house today just for me, will they..

 

I asked FedEx the same question and they said it is entirely up to the local office whether they would be willing to set the parcel aside for pickup at their facility.

I was told I need to call FedEx customer service again after the local branch opens at 8am and ask to be connected to the local office.

 

My Envy went from Alaska to Memphis to Chicago in 1 day ! It is on truck for delivery. Too bad I will be at work.

It was shipped on 4/28. So I guess this is a 2 day delivery. Thank you for keeping your word HP

I have received packages from Japan overnight though coming via USPS.

 

Interesting, mine went from Alaska to NJ. I guess they resorted the packages in AK.

Oh that sucks.. Mine was delivered right before 10:30.

One section of the screen bezel is popped out No amount of force or finesse can I get it back in I guess the whole bezel has to come off to reseat the whole thing

 

I just got the shipping confirmation e-mail for my replacement Envy...Eight days, right on time. That "expedited manufacturing" is indeed bull shi*. Hope you guys don't have as many problems with yours...

 

My processor and build date are the same as yours, so hopefully mine isn't far behind yours...

 

it depends if the time returning and reordering is worth $200 to you?

 

I just missed my replacement's delivery. Going to get it later tonight at the depot. I will let you know how that turns out.
