    Got my tracking number today, the 22nd. Ordered April 1st, Est. shipping date was the 18th. Got delayed to the 25th. Final Est. date of delivery is the 28th. I get the feeling that they are trying to get these things out the door before they have to give out any more deals to people. I missed out. Just hoping I'll open it up and there will be a caddy sitting in the second drive bay. Not going to get my hopes up though.

    well glad it looks like it's kind of slowly moving along and picking up speed.. even though some of you who ordered earlier still havn't gotten confirm, maybe you guys should call that number posted and complain to get above the list!

    i ordered on the 17th this month with also an expected ship date of may 9th like some of you for a dv7tqe.. fingers crossed!

    Trust me. Customer Service / Resolutions /etc... have no way to bump computers up a list. Everything is automated in Shanghai. If it appeared to work for someone, it was a coincidence. Many people called (including myself) and never saw a decrease in the delay time.

    I must be the only unluck laptop in Shanghai that couldn't make it off the production line today. I received my second delay (along with 10% discount) today around 6 pm EST. I just called in to accept the delay and the 10% discount. Take it for what its worth but, I asked the CSR if the 10% would be taken off of the original price I paid for the laptop, or after the two rebates i had been given for 8bg ram upgrade, 3% coupon difference, and he said the original price. So it appears if that is true that HP is doing the right thing and offering us the delay discount on the original price paid. If this is true, props to HP, even if they can't ship on time.

    BTW: new ship date = april 26, worth the wait for $99 if you ask me.

    There's people who ordered more than a week earlier than you who still know nothing about the status on theirs. I'd say you aren't yet unlucky.

    I hope the guy a page or 2 back that ordered 3/17 got notice. I'd almost feel bad posting that mine is on it's way from a 3/21 order!

    Received good news and bad tonight. The good: Checking the website around 6pm, I found that my dv7 had shipped and I had a tracking number (but info not yet received by FedEx). But no email to confirm.??

    The bad: Checking email in the last hour, I had received (at approx 9pm) another delay notice (the 5th) requiring me to call if I didn't want my order canceled. For the third time, the "delay" ship date was 4/27.

    So, back to the phone again to call the resolutions dept. After checking, the rep told me that indeed my dv7 had shipped and I should disregard the email. But, the tracking info likely won't be updated with FedEx before Monday. Hmmm? So, 2 more days of waiting and wondering until FedEx confirms -- should I believe HP this time??? I wish I knew!

    1st Delay: 4/11
    2nd Delay: 4/15 (email) or 4/20 (phone)

    Miy dv7t was shipped on April 19 and I received it today. It was standard FedEx shipping so it was super fast. I give kudos to HP for massive refund ($206 in total refund). It made my day.

    The computer is sleek and well built (not too cheap). So in all, I give it a thumbs up so far.

    4-08 predicted ship date on both.
    4-11 received email, delayed to 4-20
    4-21 delayed to 5-4, call and agree or we cancel.

    Mine have 640GB, bluetooth, 6GB, and two batteries.

    My March 24th order was supposed to ship on April 21, but I get a third delay email saying its supposed to ship this coming Tuesday. I would assume, since this delay is so short, that it will actually ship on that date. But this is the HP that has delayed me over a month already.

    LOL I was told because i ordered my laptop mid march its now on a priority list. And it will ship may 3rd cause it has to go through rigorous testing. I was so pissed on the phone that I bet I get it next april LOL.

    This is definitely the last time I deal with HP.

    Don't get pissed over slight delays in the modern marvel of shipping a package across the globe in just a few days.

    Get pissed at HP for it taking so long and their BS of the right hand having no idea what the left hand is doing. At least with Fedex they can tell you exactly where your package is and when it will actually get to you.

    My computer landed in the post office in my town in Sweden this thursday, but too late for a deliery the same day. And since they dont work on weekends, I now have to wait until Tuesday for it to travel 3 kilometres...
