Exactly. Just be hopeful. I was not anticipating any cash back and the 30% popped up this morning and was shocked.

 

After talking to HP (because I was going to order a second laptop) They just confirmed that they received an email from Bing that they will be changing their 5% early tomorrow morning, but he could not confirm what % the 5% will be raised to.

He said to check back early tomorrow morning

Probably 2% lol. HP was standard 10% for the longest time, then dropped to 5% after their last 25%.

 

Just got an email saying my order, scheduled to be shipped on the 9th has been changed to the 23rd!!!! Im beyond mad now.

So far have the $22.50 and $50 off, and now i'm going to call later and complain about a two week delay!!!!!
Beyond mad, especially since some peoples who were supposed to ship on the 12th shipped already!!!

 

Definitely have the right to complain on that one. A few days even a week can be understandable. But once delayed already, another two weeks?

 

I just figured it all up, and I got $214.24 in credit. That makes the grand total $1472.76. Even though I didn't get BCB, I'm still happy with the price.

I got the i5-520m, 500 GB HDD, 4 gigs 1 dimm, and 4-yr LoJack. With that grand total, I also got HP 2210m 21.5" Widescreen Monitor, HP Deskjet F4480 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier, HP 60 Ink Cartridge Combo Pack, and a $25 coupon. I'll probably order some more ink with that coupon.

That's a hell of a lot better than getting a mac pretty much base with no monitor.

 

Wow, I was thinking about waiting until tomorrow to pull the trigger but I didn't and got the 30%. Now, if I call in and ask for that $50 off the slice battery, will that lower the amount of BCB i get back? Or will I still get 30% of what I ordered?

Grrr, the one day that I was unable to check up on this forum every 10 mins they had to have a 30% BCB.....it really is frustrating. I had a physical then I had to build my sis's table. Found at ~4:00 pm (EST Time) and spoke to HP for about 1 hour just to get $200 back. Talked to my parents about it for an hour - then ate dinner...then boom! 5%...never used Bing either...so reading their policy took forever.

Well yea it may come back around, has HP cashback ever been at 25% twice in the same month before ? If yes I say there's chances.

No Probem. I'm so happy that the 30% came along at the exact time that I was ordering . I am also not so happy because I wanted to order a second envy 14, but with an i7. HP won't match it, so does anyone have a number for bing?

Dude...I'm in tears~seriously. Could have easily had 35% CB. Could have had i5-450M, 4 gb RAM (2 dimm), and 160 GB SSD for $952.24 as opposed to $1464.99. So pissed off.

 

I doubt that it will stay at 30%. That just needs to be refreshed to the 5%. I'm sure it's all on a timer.

 

i got that exact same email but it was after i ordered with the bing 30% so it came as a blessing because now i dont have to ship it back and wait 3-5 days from when they get it to get my refund. if that bing 30% did not show up i would still be looking at that delay email wanting to punch somebody at HP in the face. the one i just ordered today is supossed to ship on the 22nd and the delay was till the 23rd lol, i also ordered on the 29th and had a ship date of the 9th. so instead of a delay email ruinning my day i got $712 of my Envy that comes with a SSD instead of my previous configuration of just a 320GB HDD.

 

How did you get 256GB SSD Envy 14 for $1400-200 = $1200? I configured mine with 160GB SSD and it came out for $1600, maybe around $1450 with academic. The 256GB SSD is substantially a lot more expensive.

Questions:

1)For people who got the Envy14 with BCB, is it okay to call HP and stated that you forgot to apply 10% Academic discount? Without creating any issue with the BCB?
2)Can BCB be voided if HP adjust the price in any way after we order it?If HP does adjust the price, would the BCB amount changed?

I think i have posted this a total of 8 times in the last couple hours. I called HP and talked to a supervisor and she assured me that the credit back does not affect or void the bing cashback.

 

That's not going to work. All they will tell you is that it is simply past the time. Any laptops ordered after that set time will be at 5%, I assume.

 

You can definitely tell that's photoshopped. The background of the text is white compared to the very faint blue it's supposed to be.

 

Nice photoshop, but it's white around the 500% portion.

 

I hate myself now. I was going to order in 30 minutes.

the 500% is so holy, bing could not choose one color to reflect, so they chose all! resulting in the most purest of colors...!

I said I was done, but 30% BCB is ridiculous.

I'm asking for a max credit - I spent a LOT of money on this laptop and it would be ridiculous if I had to reorder to get the cash back.

That being said I am more than happy if I maintain my 10% student discount + $200 Credit - will let you know how it goes.
