Oh man, I hope my order does not get delayed.

I have: i5-450, 2x2GB, 500GB

A friend of mine has i3-370, 2x2GB, and 500GB and it got shipped TODAY.

 

Ship date for me is July 20th, and this waiting game is killing me

 

Bing emailed back on my service request after around 24 hours. Said they would work with me to get it resolved and have escalated the claim to an "expert".

I'm really hoping this gets taken care of. So far I've submitted 5 screen shots and pdf docs of my HP receipt and PayPal confirmation. Working on getting my DNA sequenced to submit along with a pint of blood, lock of my hair, ...

 

not true, when you call into get a discount, it shows up as a different order number so it does not decrease the cost of you computer

 

anybody get any spoilers from HP on another BCB morning?

 

For mine, they said it's the same order number.

 

Yes I did request 2day shipping after delay. If you want to go couple pages back you will find out that I am not the only one.

 

From what I've seen in this thread, most of the people who were assured that they would get an upgrade to 2 day shipping didn't get it.

they told me that I was upgraded but my "documents wouldn't show it, and they're doing everything they can to help the people with delays". aka, standard shipping...

 

Whats the return limit for HP? I thought I heard it was 21 days If so, bing says the waiting period varies by store, so maybe we could possibly get our discount sooner possibly perhaps?

Also on Save money on eBay - Get up to 41% Cash Back on your eBay purchases! it shows you how to stack to get more. Can anyone confirm if stacking cashbacks will work? I've never heard of ebates until I saw the first page on the Envy 14 thread.

I really don't know about this. Personally, i would rather not muck around with risking losing my 30% BCB (nearly $600!). Maybe after the 60 days are up and the money is in my account I can call up HP and whine a bit

 

I accidentally bought two E14's through Bing when it was up because I wasn't sure it was working. I then logged into my Bing account and realized I had two purchased with CB's. So I called HP up and had one of my orders canceled, but I'm wondering how is Bing going to deal with this? Anyone have a clue?

I only upgraded to 1 DIMM with everyone else stock (i3). It was scheduled to ship the 14th, but shipped two days ago. Estimated this Friday at 4:30 like everyone else.

So Friday seems to be the earliest? Or does someone have an earlier shipdate.

 

You will lose your Bing 30% in 4-6 weeks, seriously. I wouldn't muck about with it. Bing will work with people if they have an issue, but they won't offer it if you clearly received additional discounts from other third parties or used coupons.

How do you know? I've seen people on slickdeals report success in multi-dipping with FW and Bing.

 

And I've also heard lots of people that weren't successful. My point is that I wouldn't risk losing $400-$500 or whatever it is you got for 30% Bing for another 4%. Many people also see the money show up as pending in their Bing account only to be cancelled only a little before the 60 days are up. Also its one thing to lose a 5% deal, but another to lose 30%.

Do what you wish, I hope it works out for you. But I'm not going to risk my $544 from Bing for another $30-40 off.

 

The reason I ask how you know it's a risk is stacking cashback has become a timeless tradition on slickdeals.net. I haven't heard of anyone getting their cashbacks canceled. Everyone there agrees that HP coupons won't stack with BCB. This is the first time I've heard of this happening.

supposed to be til the shipment date they gave you at the latest.

got delayed for some who bought it on the 27th (release day) and 28th or so from the 7th to the 12th (like me) and we got a $25 coupon that stacks with student discounts

got delayed for others a second time from the 12th to the 21st (and they got 10% off)

 

It violates Bing's terms is all I'm saying. It's one thing if people are combining $10 or $20 discounts, it's another if it's several hundred. I'm sure the the smaller amounts don't get scrutinized nearly as much as the larger amounts.

order on the 29th, supposed to ship on the 9th, delay email received on the 12th with 23rd as new target, shipped on the 13th, ship exception (Fedex after cut off), ETA of July 20th
