    Hey, anyone that tried to contact Bing, how long did it take for them to get back with you? It says up to 48 hours, and its been about 24 now. So usually late into the 48 hours then?

    I use the "support ticket" feature or whatever, is that what you're referring to? I have a question on something I need cleared up with them. I submitted the ticket late yesterday evening. Was hoping to hear back by today.

    I'd give it a day or so. Dunno how long they expect you to wait, but if there's a problem, I'd try to contact them through alternate means.

    That's the problem, there are no alternate means. No phone, no email, no nothing. Just support ticket. I'll give it the requisite 48 hours then I'll get mean... yeah right. :eek:

    I think it's cute that all of our laptops are together right now. They're like a litter of kittens, about to be separated for adoption by us owners all over the country :rolleyes:

    They contacted me the next morning.

    When I initially sent my request, I attached a screenshot of the 30% BCB as well as information on order time and cost. When they emailed me back they asked for detailed pricing on each product (Bought an envy 14 for myself and a dv6t for my dad), so I included a screenshot on the HP order status page of each laptop. Later today they sent me an email asking to attach the same order receipt with the merchant's label included...The funny part is that they provided a step by step guide to taking screenshots as if I they didn't see the original ones I attached lol.

    So I have nothing better to do than sit around and click refresh. So I decided to check the weather in Anchorage. Looks okay for 6 hours. Then they're expecting rain. Better hope it gets out of there quickly.

    Pretty weak system with regards to Bing/HP. By the point that you reach the requisite 48 hr window, the order has dropped & it's too late to cancel. & by the time that you know positively that you are getting/not getting the cashback (60 day mark), the return period has long expired. & to answer your previous question... I got my first actual response from Bing aprox. 24 hrs after sending ticket (saying to give it 48 hrs to show up before further investigation).

Unfortunately, we need the original order confirmation from HP Home and Home Office in a PDF file or screenshot format and it includes the Order Number, Order Date, Items Purchase/Prices and Subtotal excluding shipping and taxes. Please do send it, attached within the email. We will need this information to resolve your issue efficiently.

    Call them up and have them process it. I called this morning to just to make sure that the credit was still there and they didn't just lie to me yesterday (lol), and they lady said since it already shipped, she will go ahead and process the $200 credit.

    An hour later, I see a new order in my order status showing a $200 credit to my discover card :D

    You guys think it'll ship directly to our homes? I'm in San Diego so would it possibly stop at a sorting station in LA or would it fly right here to San Diego to happily be delivered to my porch? I can see it taking an additional day if it went to LA but if it flies directly to our cities then it could possibly be sorted in the morning from Alaska and then sent to our houses mid-day. I guess the longest sorting would be separating all our individual laptops to be sent to each location. NBR forums probably doesn't represent the entirety of people who ordered ENVY's so there is probably a lot to be sorted eh?

    @kangu: Yeah, that was me. Sorry to put a damper on your ENVY hopes. (pun definitely intended. ;) ) I am hopeful that it will ship out tonight! Come on Alaskans! sort with all your might! (it's done by machine isn't it? haha)

    -Placed my order around 2-3:30 on Monday 7/12.

    -8pm on 7/12 opened a Bing ticket, w/ an automated reply soon after.

    -5pm next day (7/13) got an email saying it was being escalated.

    -3pm today (7/14) got an email from escalation specialist saying that he had opened a support ticket with their research department and he'd be working with them in a couple of days.

    it goes to a distribution center.

    depends on your location where that center is.

    then it goes to your local fedex office.

    then if you're like me and in florida it goes to your localer fed ex office.

    (yeah it goes from orlando to ocala to then where I live in florida instead of just orlando to where I live in florida. Ocala is a bit out of the way)

    Well I did call them up but they just told me it would take 3-5 days after I got it to be processed. She saw the credit I was supposed to get so that's what's important, no huge rush to get it. At least there's a record :)

    Same thing so me. I just wanted to make sure the info for the credit was there and that was the only reason for my call. To my surprise, she said she would process it right there, so I'll probably have my credit before I even have my laptop lol.

    Well, I got a response, and yep, about 24 hours from when I sent it. It was kind of cryptic though, so another email to get further clarification. I wish they would just actually read my question and answer what I asked instead of kind of answering what I kind of asked. :confused2:

    Well, I've got to wait until at least the 23rd for mine to even ship, so in preparation I ordered some DVDs to make the recovery disks. Still hoping to snag a deal on external storage.
