I'm not sure exactly, but this guide is where I found my information. I'm not certain of total size but you also need the drivers and pre-installed software that are found: C:\SwSetup.

Are you checking Fedex? SimpleTracking doesn't show it but Fedex does. Clearance delay means it's going through customs right?

 

I actually looked up the Fedex location in Alaska using Bing.

 

I checked both and neither show a clearance delay. Post a screencap of the tracking information you are seeing.

 

it doesn't say clearance delay on the simpletracking but the actual tracking that HP sends you in the shipping notice email.

If you don't get that message are you on track? I though everyone has to go through customs.

 

Mine shows the same. My wife has a corp line for Fedex and she called them to check status. The ones in this status are in line to go through customs. The Fedex guy said that most likely it should still be delivered on Friday. Here's hoping.

I think you will get yours on Friday, because my schedule looks just like that and my estimated delivery time is on the 16th, Also I am in Cali too.

After comparing tracker data, Pterodactly and I have the exact same data, while the people who have clearance delays have different times at each step, so there are 2 different shipments. Maybe mine didn't get delayed but you guys did

 

barring that yours aren't going through customs yet, ours are.

Mine is in anchorage as well, no clearance delay though but also a delivery date of the 20th. Sounds like there's a lot of envys in anchorage.

Out of curiosity, anybody got the bing cashback and then try to get $200 off of their order from price matching?

 

The second one is still on schedule for the 20th. But, if that shipment was not cleared until Friday, it would not present any real delay. The one scheduled for the 16th, however, would be impacted by not being released today and does represent a delay which is why it is likely noted.

 

I think for those people who dont have a delay on their shipping status is because fedex has 5 days to get the package to them...which is more than enough time.

So for those (including me) who have theirs due on friday, just might not get it (which is unlikely, since i've received many packages from fedex either earlier or on time as scheduled) but i think its so that they dont have a million people calling at once asking why their package hasnt come on time...which i dont think works since that even though we know about customs, we still want to be nosy and ask them questions on whats causing the delay.

Pansy. 11pm late? THATS GARBAGE! THE NIGHT IS YOUNG MY FRIEND! But I do agree that it is hot as balls here. I love isolating myself in my room with the doors closed but it's just to freaking hot.
