For sure. Much like my Envy, I flew to the US from Shanghai just a week and a half ago. I arrived in Vancouver (layover) four hours before I left Shanghai, according to the clock, at least. It was the 6th of July for a long time...

 

Ya mine left Oakland at 4pm, 7 hours later it hasn't shown up anywhere, and I live all of 1 hour from Oakland

 

Ordered a couple minutes ago. Specs in my sig along with sleeve, mouse, and HDMI VGA converter.

 

Guys....use simpletracking.com that site has more updates than fedex's site. On the fedex site, it only tells me that it departed from Oakland. But simpletracking is one step ahead and told me that it was in LA

 

wow you're right. the fedex site still shows my envy as departed oakland too, but simpletracking shows it as leaving phoenix as of 5 am. Damm, if I used this earlier I could have at least attempted to pick it up at the fedex sorting facility..

 

I am, even that just says "Left FedEx Sort Facility"
I only live about an hour from oakland, I have no idea what's going on
Unless there's a fedex near where I live and they just haven't scanned it in yet

 

Mine just arrived in Memphis from Alaska. I live in California....

 

It should arrive somewhere near you soon. It will say "Arrived at FedEx Ramp" and then "Left Arrived at FedEx Ramp". At least thats what mine shows on simple.

 

about 24 more hours of waiting.. Mine is chilling in a warehouse within 10 miles of me.

 

I'm gonna go to fedex promptly at 8am to pick my baby up....I've waited a weekend longer for too long to wait until 4:30pm for it to be delivered to my house.

 

Dont you have the get the release from HP that takes 24-48 hrs?

 

yeah i called on friday. like i said before, the guy i spoke to said that he "guaranteed" that he would get it done by friday but it never happened....and its been 2 days..monday will be the third day, and I just called hp and i spoke to a rep that agreed to call me at 6:30am to give the status of my package pick up waiver.

 

must...keep waking up early...for bcb.........

 

Still holding out hope? I want it to come back, to get a dm1z, as well but I am not getting my hopes up. A 40-50% going away bash would be great, though.

 

absolutely. hope is all i have if i want an SSD =[. the trend points to the 26th...but i'm waking up early every day in case it pops up outta nowhere. i hope microsoft is nice enough to give a 40-50% blowout for a good 5 hours on hp too lols. that'd be epic.

Go to slickdeals and set up a deal alert to send you an instant e-mail. If you have a smartphone that way you won't miss it. You might even be able to set it up to send you a text message.

 

i set filters for gmail for notebook review PM'S to text to my dumbphone samsung eternity, and i set a deal alert (keywords: hp bing), and subscribed to the thread "hp 30% cashback" (the one that says DEAD or ALIVE).the slickdeals alerts go to text to my phone too.

Simpletracking says it just arrived at the LA Fedex ramp at 1:40!

FedEx tracker is slow.

 

Sometimes people put "BCB" or "cashback" so I'd include BCB and cashback there too.

I wouldn't expect it to move until tomorrow, when FedEx can't ship. It's probably being held and sorted out for now.

There will be a status update Sunday at midnight. The last status will simply be the truck docking at the facility. Once it is scanned, you will see an update overnight.

check slickdeals/techbargains often. they usually have a nicely reduced external every once in a while. i'm waiting for a super cheap one myself...cousin told me to see if i can get one for 10 cents per gig or less =p.
