    Oh no, I meant 3PM PST of the 22nd. By that time, FedEx should have already sent their shipment or be preparing to. I figured the wait time should be about 20 minutes, so by then, it'll be pretty much close to FedEx's closing time.

    if thers a delay for you at all it will be one day so dont expect anything. and at this point its fed'ex's fault so dont complain to HP.

    you don't get coupons and stuff unless it gets officially delayed for a week.


    said "yo it's delayed" e-mail won't show up for at least 2 business days after it's late.

    If the delay is on Fedex's end I don't think you'll be getting anything.

    HP delayed my shipping date by 2 days and I got a $25 off coupon.

    Delay notification received: Aug 13, 3:15pm EST
    New est ship date: Aug 23

    Called customer service Aug 19th trying to get free upgrade shipping and she said she couldn't do that but would refund my card $70 once the order shipped. she also sending me daily status updates which amount to "nothing has changed, still supposed to ship on the 23rd", which at this point seem like more of a taunting than a helpful update :-/.

    thats really bad news. i hope mine doesnt get delayed its suppose to ship tomorrow. hp seems to ship them together i wouldnt be surprised if all our laptops are all shipped out monday

    Ok so I called HP again just to check if there were any delays.

    And she asked for my order number, then went and checked the factory report.

    She said my order number was not on the delay list. So phew. And she said to give it at least 24 hours for the order status to update..

    So I'll wait a lil before checking it again..

    I wish I would've opted for 2 day shipping..

    Yeah, they don't deliver on weekends, but there's a Saturday delivery option which might count for the 2 day shipping. Not sure.

    HP website is being stupid... I was having the dilemma last night till 3:00 AM to buy the Envy 14 or not, decided to pull trigger and I ended up with a "Please Wait" that lasts 10 minutes and then ended up not ordering. Pulled the trigger just now, same thing. Discouraging and telling me to give up and wait for the u33jc!

    That is frustrating. I would use IE if you're not already, seems to work best at least for me, at HP site.

    Regarding U33Jc, that looked good to me before too, but again, only 1366x768 resolution. I don't get it. The Asus 4820T and U33Jc would have been great alternatives if they came with a 1600x900 screen option.

    Haha yea I was way pumped to when mine said that.. And now EBD/ESD is today 21st and still says in production.. But in all fairness it's only 8am on shanghai.. Soooooo hopefully before close of business in the china factory, it'll be in a fedex truck.. Hopefully...

    But be prepared for alot of refreshing on hps website and email haha.
