missed the plane, darn it, guess gonna be 1 day later, this is cutting my school's start date real close!

 

I do not know, what does it say for u 5-7 day shippers on fedex?

Yeah, not looking good at all. I'm mad that they just let it sit there for 1 day... we could have gotten it on Friday.

Mine says international shipment release on fedex.

Maybe they put it on a plane directly to virginia, and that would be awesome.

 

Yeah, we have "package available for clearance" listed on the FedEx tracking page.

Why do you have to return it if it doesn't come tomorrow?...

 

I'm in the same predicament. I optedfor the 2day shipping but my fedex tracking # is showing:

I just called Fedex and the woman told me that my laptop hadn;t even cleared customs yet! I'm not getting 'til Monday right???

 

Did she say that it wont arrive tomorrow?!?!?!?

I love how it took something like 12 hours to release the shipment to customs.

Well I guess we can expect them Monday if we're lucky? Maybe even picking them up at our local FedEx centers on Saturday?

 

wow its already at 3 days, even though its 2 day delivery.

I have to see if my family can stay a little longer if it does get delayed. They were planning on coming up to Canada Sunday, because this delays everything.

 

Okay, well if it's encouraging at all, there is a plane en route from Anchorage to Memphis right now, but I doubt that has our Envy 14s on it.

However, another is scheduled to depart a couple hours from now.

I'm not sure where you're expecting it to be delivered to, but I suppose if it's possible it could get delivered late tomorrow, if FedEx is quick about it.

I wasn't aware you really had to do anything in advance. I was under the assumption you could go there and pick it up. I'm sure you'd need an ID and would have to sign for it.

I guess we should be expecting our Envy 14s next week, huh?

I really hope we can go pick them up if they're sitting at the FedEx center.

 

If I remember correctly, we do have to do something to go and pick it up. I don't think we can just walk in with our I.D. and just take it.

 

Call in and complain about the shipping time. My estimated delivery date was three days after the ship date and I had paid for two day shipped. I called and managed to get $25 back from hp.

Use the FedEx tracking, it's more accurate and tells you what's going on.

 

Spending WAY too much time in Alaska. Too many delays too.

If it's already in Memphis, then i'm pretty sure it'll arrive in New York in the morning. When did you order & did you get two day shipping?

 

i ordered on the 21st and yeah i got 2 day shipping. i see you ordered on the 12th...ouch.

Wow, that's worse than my delays.

 

I love my envy. Got it a few days ago. But the fans are soooooooo bloody annoying!!! Sometimes they stay at a constant, silent speed but usually they jump from very slow to slow every few seconds which is so annoying. Hopefully after a clean install they will stay a bit more consistant.

I think it'll go to the cali distribution center..or the one near there.

They'll probably deliver it to you. Doesn't seem like mine is doing anything in Alaska. Might not even get to my local FedEx by Saturday at this rate.

Mine has a clearance delay in Alaska...still. I think they are delaying it on purpose. They want it to be here on the 3rd just so they can be right

 

It's killing me knowing it's sitting there waiting to go through customs, while they were able to clear the other half of the Envy 14s last night.

 

Well I was reluctant about FedEx and HP delivering it by today. And FedEx said on time by 10:30 today. Well, was this a shocker! Got it 10:15, me rubbing my eyes and dragging my feet to the door. Blindly signed the delivery pad and Fed Ex guy say to take it easy.

Typing on my new Envy now. I have to say, the box makes your heart melt and when you first look at it... Words cannot describe. I am by far impressed with HP even though I heard horrendous and atrocious things about them. I was not expecting my laptop to be shipped until August 3rd and then receive it until August 5th or 6th. Instead, it ships within a week -a week early that is!- and upon quick inspection, I see no damage, minor or major. No CPU whine, the fans remain silent unless I play a video or something.

Beats Audio sounds like a normal HD Audio from my brother's desktop. Mine is rigged with an Asus Xonar and judging the difference in quality is very quick, when I listen with headphones.

We 5-7 day shippers are still stuck in customs in Alaska... It's ridiculous. I've heard it can take days, or longer, to get through sometimes.

 

happens to 2 day shippers too, i called hp and they said when a laptop is built before the ship date, they are always a little behind on the papers
