Yep it's moving. you won't see any update for a while then it'll hit alaska.

 

I think I have the worst luck in the world. Guess where my computer is stuck due to the severe weather in the US Midwest? My computer is stuck in freaking Alaska. Don't really see it being delivered on friday. Does Fedex deliver on Saturday?

Said the same thing when mine was being sent but it didn't effect the time I got mine. Plus, if you read it right it means packages that are being delivered today not delivered to memphis today. It is talking about packages that got to memphis yesterday.

 

Hah, mine lists the exact same activity.

Good to know! They might be here before the 9th then! (I think that once it hits Alaska it goes to Memphis and then the 2 day shipping is valid.)

 

The Fedex rep told me that once mine left Alaska it was coming straight to Florida. She didn't mention any stops before that.

 

Im in Florida also and mine stopped at Texas the last time I ordered (Early January), got here in a total of 3 days with standard shipping. heres the tracking: 467139344674

mine is supposed to be delivered friday but as of right now, its in newark,NJ!. Thats about a 40min drive for me. Is it really going to take 2 days for it go to from Newark to me?

Currently in Memphis (severe weather), for an estimated delivery on Friday.

 

I didnt just want a case. I got the one with the lock to protect it in case it gets stolen. Hopefully it will be protected from being destroyed for the most part.

Wow Im sure that all of our Envy's left on the same plane from China. How is it that people's tracking is showing them in different locations. Mine is still in Alaska. me12345's is in Memphis and a94060's is in Newark. Why isn't mine in Florida? lol

 

if its really only a 40 min drive and theres no weather problems or anything, then 100% sure that you'll get it tomorrow. Fedex usually doesn't update the delivery date when its coming early, so itll still show Feb 4th until delivered.

Interesting. I don't understand why my order didn't go directly to NJ. I live about an hour and half away... Memphis is like 20 something hours away. I guess they ran out of room on the plane.

 

Now the biggest kicker would be if they some how send it back because they couldnt find the address I should also have my pelican case by the same day, since that is coming from NY

 

Oh . Its already in my city today at 8:22am. I wonder if it made the cut off for delivery today.

 

Mine was in newark as of 530am. I doubt it will be coming today. Tommorow is a much more sure bet

 

called hp lady was puzzled that i told her fedex is closed. she did not have a single answer for anything.. she told me to call back in 24-48 hours.

 

WOO HOO!!!!!!! Although it was supposed to ship yesterday, it now has. The tracking number says it did ship yesterday though and is in Shanghai.

 

Ahh,maybe their email or something did not get delivered. Good news though Bad news is its probably going to stand there for a few days since fedex is closed till the 6th for chinese new years

 

yeah. That's why it's showing a delivery date of the 10th.

 

Mines been in Indy for 2 DAYS already! Now I don't even have an estimated delivery date anymore! Arggghhhhhhh!

I just received my tracking info also.

My estimated arrival date is 02/09 at 10:30am.

While I'm happy it's shipping, I'm EXTREMELY unhappy it's not going to arrive for a week. I paid 2-day shipping and I'm going to call HP and demand my $39 back.

 

If you had regular shipping you'd get it in two weeks. Just because they printed out your shipping info doesn't mean it has shipped. You'll still get it 2 days after it ships.

 

Actually, no I wouldn't.

It'd most likely arrive 2/10 had I chose standard shipping and would definitely have been here by the end of next week regardless.

 

Still in production...... I feel left out.

Yes, technically I will be but I paid 2-day shipping so it could arrive before the weekend if shipped mid-week. Now I'm being forced to wait until Monday when no matter what option I chose, it'd be arriving around the same time.

You can think I'm a clown for wanting my $39 back but this is highly unreasonable to estimate a ship date of 2/2 then have the actual ship date be 2/7 and act as though it just "sucks for me." FedEx has my package CURRENTLY but aren't moving it because of the holiday. That in my opinion is the same as it having been shipped as it has left HP's possession.

 

I got the shipping email also, showed that it was shipped yesterday morning (my ship date was today), estimated delivery is Feb 10th with standard delivery, so really not worth $39 to get it just 1 day earlier

 

I placed an order on the HP-Parts Store for a radiance display under parts number 608366-001, and it went through! I called to confirm availability afterwards and the customer service rep said it's in stock and will be shipping shortly. Wooo so in the end I get a suped up envy 14 with SSD and radiance screen for like 1350 if it all comes out. A little more than I wanted to spend in the end, but worth it for sure if everything get's delivered perfectly.

 

Got a call from HP and I got this deal from them my envy 14 out the door price was $752.99 with a i5-580, 8GB , 620GB, but no Radiance with normal shipping an estimated ship date of FEB 23 .I think that is a good price.They charged me $952.99 up front but will refund $200 when it ships.

Also... it seems that darkprime, indianman, waleed786, zer06ame and I are all on the same shipment group over in china as we all received the tracking info today. Now to see who gets it first...

 

Are you planning on installing the screen yourself, or are you going to a computer repair company?

 

I can install it myself, apparently it comes with the bezel so all I would need to do was to unscrew the keyboard and stuff unplug the BV and install the Radiance.. I think I saw a couple people order them on this forum and mentioned it wasn't too bad as the manual discusses how to do it. I'm moreso concerned if I'll actually get my radiance than how to install it haha.

 

Hmm, nothing has changed on shipping status except it added on 2 more "In Transits" Still says Shanghai though =(

 

Any chance that I could call Fedex and pick it up from them directly? They are 5 minutes away..

 

Whoa...that's an awesome price especially with 8gb of ram. I tried and tried to get the 8gb ram..but Ken would not budge. So in all...i paid $774 for i-5, 580m, 4gb (1dim) 640gb HD, brightview screen. I guess that's not bad for a powerful laptop...that's almost 1/2 price of a 15" macbook pro. I'm satisfied.

 

Sure. It has been done before. Just call and explain your situation. They are cool with it.

What's your order status say when you check it @ the HP Parts Store website? I ordered one on this past Sunday and mine still shows the order is processing with a estimated ship date of 02/04/11.

 

Just got my shipping email. Details state that the package was picked up on the 1st after the FedEx deadline. Still in Shanghai with an estimated arrival date of the 10th. Here are my order vital stats:
