Does UPS work on Sundays? I know they don't deliver on Sundays, but will they ship from KY to my regional UPS so that it'll be ready for local delivery by tomorrow?

Iam wondering where I can find information about when T400/T500 will be released in sweden.. If it even will be released here. I have no idea at all If not, what other laptop can be compared to T400/T500?

 

Mine's still stuck up in Alaska. When is it likely to ship from there? Monday? or Today?

BTW guys, how long does it take for it to ship from Alaska to the East coast? I've been waiting for like forever! My machine reached alaska on saturday.

 

HAHA! OK, so I jumped the gun a little. My UPS chart said it is On Time - Expected 9/10. So, I figured I could post my results here.

I'm in Texas. Luckily, the UPS chart has been updated and it went from Kentucky to Texas in 1.5 hours. It should be arriving tomorrow (9/9), a day early... unless it sits in the Houston depot for a full day.

Today I spoke with a rep at Lenovo and she told me if I ordered a T400 today it would ship in 5 days, I guess it would depend on the components and unless they were all in stock ... she shouldn't have mentioned 5 days

i ordered mine yesterday 9/9
estimated to ship on 9/23

i really hope it ships on time because i had HP problems in the past and now i am hearing on the lenovo forums about pushed back orders.



BTW i know that there is both the LG and samsung lcd's.

what do you give the odds are got getting the LG.
i mean is it mostly LG's out there

i hate to spend 1000+ for poor quality.

alex1515: it's a toss up for the LG panel. i've run across 50/50 people having both. there's a thread somewhere in here that will explain how to use the Parts Lookup page to determine, with high probablity, if your panel is LG or Samsung before it reaches your door.

I cancelled my order for the U330(ordered 9/1 and est ship 10/1) and ordered a T400 yesterday. Nice thing is that I totally forgot that my good friends wife still works for IBM, so I was able to configure the T400 with epp. Anyhow, no email letting me know when it is supposed to ship????

 

Ordered my T400 on 8/12 through IBM epp and am still waiting for it to ship. Tomorrow will mark my one month (of waiting) anniversary. Anyone else out there besides me that have been waiting longer for theirs?

 

Wow, that sucks. I ordered a T400 8/26 through cpp. It was made on 9/5, shipped 9/6 and arrived in AZ 9/8. And that was with the 9 cell battery. I wonder if there is something on your spec that is holding up your order. Regardless, I would call and complain and tell them you are considering canceling unless something happens soon. Another option might be to get in touch with Tim_Lenovo over at the Lenovo company forums and see if he could help you out.

 

I bought mine on 8/5.....still waiting....have been already more than 5 weeks. Estimated ship date is 9/19 which is moved from 9/9 which is moved from 8/26

 

Yeah, I assumed it must be something in my build that was causing the extra long delay. I spoke to multiple reps over the last few weeks including a US based customer service supervisor this morning (she was very helpful.) It looks like my system should finally ship in the next day or two.

Funny thing is, some of the options I selected a month ago are not even listed on their site anymore. (Like the 5 year onsite 9x5 next business day warranty coverage.)

Ordered my T500 Monday 8th 5pm Eastern, ship notification received yesterday.

Left HK this morning, went to Incheon (Seoul) and left 9:50pm local. My guess is that its on UPS flt 61, scheduled to arrive in Anchorage at 12:29pm local, whence it will fly on to Louisville at 3:11pm, and get there around 1am.
So hopefully (barring customs delays) it will arrive here in MA in the morning.

If you go to http://www.flightstats.com you can track UPS' flights in and out of Seoul (INC), Anchorage (ANC) and Louisville (SDF), and match them up with your tracking info.

OK - so maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but order on a Monday evening, and have it arrive on a Friday in New England is pretty awesome IMHO. All I need now is for US customs to screw up and hold it.

You Americans always get your notebooks faster than us Canadian. The last time my brother purchased an X61 from Lenovo, it took just over 8 weeks from the day he placed the order to the day it was in his hands. I'm not even going to speculate on my shipping date because whatever Lenovo tells me will be off by about a month, LOL!

Mine too. I ordered Friday, 09/12 and the expected ship date is 09/26.

 

I also ordered Friday, got two day shipping so hopefully will get it sooner...Expected ship date for mine is also 9/26. It seems they are shipping sooner though than the expected date recently so hopefully the 26th is the latest date they will be shipping them out. I can't wait for my new laptop...

 

It looks like Esteban, t3a, f1 tech, Susie520, cbg, and I all ordered our T400's on the same day and have the same estimated ship date.

It'd be very interesting to see which one of us gets theirs first.

EPP got me down to like 42% off. My config to my door was $850
