Haha thanks bungalo!
Raistlon, that's a sick theme, how did you get the mac-like bar at the bottom? Also interesting 'man page'
-
The dock was found in the Add Remove programs "Avant Window Navigator". Great dock and you can customize it a bit, but I am still trying to figure out how to easily make it automatically load upon startup.
-
If you use gnome, you can go to System -> Sessions, click "Add". Give it whatever name you want and under "Command" type in "avant-window navigator" (without quotes and it should start automatically at boot.
-
I knew it was probably going to be something really simple like that. Thanks for sharing.
-
Ha! I'm not the only one whose video card fails when it comes to capturing a perfect screenshot of the fiery letters!
-
Is that the Dust window borders theme? I like it, fits in well with the panels.
-
Let's see some activity!

If I ever settle on a distro, I'll post one up!
-
that was the funniest thing I've seen to day

Hehehe...

I would show off my current, but my connection times out everytime I try to upload a screen. Maybe tomorrow, when I'm on a better connection.

There be a lot of unidentified things on this desktop....lol Sidux is my second choice, but having wireless glitch...either me or the software....have to stick with Debian, although PCLOS 2009 b2 is coming along nicely!

Love it!
How can I get that theme, or, specifically, that wallpaper?
-

Replaced fast user switch with a shutdown icon. I usually just sudo halt/reboot anyways.

is it conky? -
Here's mine. Intrepid Ibex 8.10 x64...
-
Interesting...looks 'like' a conky trick...but I'll check it out...
-
It's definitely not conky. My guess is that it's urxvt (unicode-rxvt) with a custom configuration. urxvt "tricks" are all over google. Someone posted a how-to for it earlier in this thread. Lemme see if I can find it....
P.S. Here's the post. Instructions are not WM-specific. -
here is my Fedora 10 setup. Nothing fancy, but I like the look of it.
I see a lot of you guys are running Compiz. I keep trying to like it, but just can't. I have a Precision M2400 with a T9400 c2d, 4gb of ram, and the Quadro 380m video card, and I just can't get it to run as snappy with Compiz enabled as without it, especially scrolling in windows and Firefox.Attached Files:
