    I love songbird and use it for media management. But use Sonata+mpd for normal playback. Songbird on Windows opens SO much slower

    yea..i have Songbird on windows too.. :)
    I've never actually used Sonata..but then again i haven't really tried any of the light-weight media players..I like players like Songbird i guess..i like the whole interface and the way it looks.. and it gives me all the features I need/want..so yea..works for me :D
