But you can always drop it off at my house and ill make the delivery blaze.

But yeah, definately for pc, i really enjoy high quality graphics, i only really use 360 to play the halo's now which i have been in love with for years.

But itl be cod 4-2 for pc (single player)
And xbox 360 cod 4-2 for multiplayer.

Take it from me, the online community for pc gamers is full of the biggest load of looser campers ever :p (COD 5).

I obviously will try it online like but i do prefer the 360 when it comes to online gaming.

    Hey!
    Got a few question:

On My Laptop, how can I see/change how many ghz my cpu is doing when i turn on turbo?
Also, how do i see the fps in a game, without using fraps, as apparrently it decreases the fps.

As well as that, My Laptop started randomly shutting down, about an hour into playing COD4.
Anyone knows whats wrong? How can I check the temps of my CPU/GPU, and between what values should they normally be between?
I heard that someone else who had a similar problem, made the fan go faster when playing, can I, and if yes, how could i do that?

A lot of question, but all of my interest. Hope you can help me :)

    1. Use this program to check the clock speed of your cpu http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

    2. Fraps is one of the best programs to check your fps with, i have used many others that considerably affect your fps more than fraps. What game are trying to find the fps of, because some games have the fps function built in.

    3. The random shut down sounds like overheating problems. You can use CoreTemp http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ to check your cpu temps and you can see the temp of your graphics card either using the Catalyst Control Centre or using gpuz http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ . Your graphics card should not be going over 85 to 90 degrees C (in game) as this could considerably shorten its life. While the computer is idle, temps anywhere between 45 to 55 degrees C is normal (also it depends on the temperature of the room you are in).

Mmh. Got the CPU-Z, normal Core Speed is 1596Mhz, with Turbo on it is 1852Mhz. Is that all gud? Shouldnt it be somewhere between 2530Mhz and 3000Mhz?

What Temperature should the CPU max go up 2?

I got a External HD from WD, and got no problems whatsoever with it. Driver installs automatically on any Computer I plug it into. Can access files within seconds.

on restart press delete , once you are in the bios , press ALT & INSERT , go into advanced and change it to 20% (that's about 3ghz on turbo) .. my cpu on idle was about 30 and gpu 42 .. i can't say anymore as it's in the box ready to be shipped :p

Also check your power setting is on High Performance, not Power Saver. (power saver will underclock your processor to save battery)

As for the COD4 fps, try looking here http://cod4boards.com/cod4-pc/6039-cod4-fps-tips.html

    Okay, now im scared....

    Just been playing COD4.

Now I got these Values. Can someone advise me what to change please?

    Date , GPU Core Clock [MHz] , GPU Memory Clock [MHz] , GPU Temperature [°C] , Fan Speed [%] , GPU Load [%] , Fan Speed [RPM] , GPU Temp.(DISPIO) [°C] , GPU Temp.(MEMIO) [°C] , GPU Temp.(SHADERCORE) [°C] ,

    2009-11-24 23:02:36 , 500.0 , 850.0 , 105.0 , 100 , 98 , - , 104.5 , 127.0 , 110.5 ,

    My GPU was at 105degrees!
I really need to find a way to change that. How can I get the fan to 100%, not only 30?

its not at 30%, its most likely at full (GPUZ cannot read our values!)

    Your card needs re-pasting!
Open it up, check the heat sink too, thats Waaay to hot !

Is the fan spinning? How loud is it.

I dont even know how your machine is still alive :S.

127 on memory is beyond bizarre, its unbelievable.

seriously it's not worth it , how many proper 64bit app or game is there on your advent ? most games i know are 32 even the recent ones .. none will take advantage of the 8gb .. invest in a processor instead

where did you get that notebook ? was it new ?

105c? You need to be very careful because that high of a temp can be dangerous. I dont think fan speed can be controlled on these laptops although I could be wrong.

    Yes this is correct.

MSI's policy covers parts only. Their unofficial line is that you can remove the warranty seal to replace memory and hardrive. Any other components such as CPU/GPU are not necessarily covered if there removed or changed.

Within law I believe they maintain the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act (USA).

Changes you make outside of the warranty are done under your own risk.

now i want to ask...why while am playing 3non stop hours mw2 game is very lagy? i check temps are everything is fine ..RAM usage is 69% 2.8GB .i use 64bit btw
    whats going on?

although the seal states this, you are in fact aloud to remove the seal to replace memory and HD. Under Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act it is reasonably assumned that machine is being used as intended by replacing these parts. Warranty will not apply to the parts replaced, which would be seperately covered by there own manucturer.

Regarding Lag in MW2, I've experienced the same lag in 9.11. Went back to 9.9 lag is gone. So go fig I guess?
