oh i see normal volts are 1.163V for 2ghz on mine.when u mod it FSB doesnt change. But when i push power FSB is more..That am trying to say , is it normal? isnt better to set more FSB instead of more Volts? i really dont know bout cpu ocing...

 

No lena, look at the multiplier

2.2 purely OFF multiplier.

FSB overclocks i believe easily hit 2.5 ghz.

But unfortunately to inform you guys, i will not be attempting a 2.5 hit, i dont have the money or resources to replace damaged hardware in the event of failure (it broke once already.)

And the reason for the higher multiplier and voltage is due to RMClock not seing that multiplier, its somewhere i cannot find, but if you look at the other, the q9000 doesnt run at 1.5 volt either .

 

You don't have to hit 2,5,just tell us how You did it
and now seriously-how much did it increase the temperature?

 

It lowers temperature, im running at reduced voltage.

And i can confirm that fsb + multi modding yields higher overclock.

Does your multiplier increase work at full system load? I ask because I can increase my multiplier, but when the system goes under full load, it locks the multiplier to being normal (lowers it to normal).

 

do you know any program that speed up our laptop fan?
i want to speed it up from 30% to 50 or 60, f there is no program how can i do it?

i posted this before on the forums i love my internet, it technically averages at like 28 mbps but i get powersurges where my internet uses all the bandwidth available on my particular internet host, so it gets up to speeds of 33-45 mbps

Well.... here in Iraq...... I think my best download was 12 kb/s at about 2 am when no one else was on the network.... So.. yeah, lmao!!

Can't wait to get back to Germany.. 1 mb/s is plenty enough speed for me.

 

Under full load its a case between 1 and two coresa staying at the fixed multiplier although it can be strangely jumpy, if only RMClock supported half multipliers, life would be so much easier.

 

IF UPC ever sort their sh!t out i should have 50mbps dl and 5mbps ul here in Czech.

i download on avg 3.5 to 4 megabytes a second when people talk about internet, they are talking megabits which is way different than megabytes, i have a 33MEGABITPERSECOND download, which in terms I download around 4MEGABYTESPERSECOND

everywhere uses lines that are shared by people, when you pay for your internet, you are paying to use a certain ammount of bandwith on that line. I may be sharing my line with 5000 people for all I know, but I still am getting my 33 megabit internet because they give me that much bandwidth off the line. Even early I said my company gives me something called power surges, they let you use all your lines band width to download something for 15 or 30 seconds at the start of the download. Which is good for streaming, and dling songs, and even videos, I can download like 300 megabyte videos in 10 seconds usually

 

Nah thats line speed. Download speed for me is 2, sometimes 3 kila BYTES per second.

Its a MSI GT275 SOAP OPERAAAAA. And person thats leaving, I don't care what you said its the internet, haha it doesnt effect me, I just came on this forum because most of you have done the work for me when it comes to stuff related to the laptop, and im no good with pcs, and most of you are, so this forum is really helpful, ive learned alot about computers and my laptop just from reading

yeah i saw the deal , still at 3quid i hesitated the best deal for the past couple of weeks was left4dead , dead space & Dark athena @ 7£ each .. although i got my copy of deadspace on ebay for 3.50 awesome game a must have

Just comlpeted my Win 7 install. Decided to try an in-place upgrade. Went off without a hitch. I did uninstall both AVG and the ATI CCC, but haven't re-installed either. So far I've noticed a marked improvement in overall performance. Have to go to work, so won't get to try everything, but so far there have been no problems.

well im getting like minor lag during the cut scenes, which is weird cause they are cartoon, AND THE GAME IS AWESOME lol, i got mine for free but secret

Speaking of the MM, I haven't re-installed it, just using what Windows update downloaded for the ATI drivers, and it seems fine.

Umm, can't. CCC not installed. ATI Driver version 8.632.1.2000 Dated 8/17/2009. So far everything looks sweet! Ran tests at PC Pitstop and was gobbsmacked watching the 3D test!

 

EDID on the machine is not reading the laptop display or VGA output properly, so its completely messed up.

Will try vista OEM disks today.

Yeah the one from windows update is same as the one available from msi's website , i've been using it since i upgraded to w7 and works nicely i'm tired of modding ... they should support their sh**
