    Hey Guys,

I've been having problems with my 7660G Im using the latest 2/26/2013 13.2 Beta 7 drivers. Even before with my 13.1 WHQL drivers I was getting this problem.

When I play League of Legends it uses the 7970m perfectly but for some odd reason while recording the history of both iGPU and GPU with GPU-Z the 7660G Core Clocks and VDDC keep spiking up and down every 5-10seconds and this causes my games FPS to drop from 60 and have anything I did during that ..5/1sec spike to not register.

I've also tried running the game with just the 7660G and it wont kick into high gear mode either.

Anyways wondering if anyone has experienced this? I've considered setting everything to use 7970m but thats not a solution just a quick fix.

I'm not sure if this would be considered micro stutters?

I don't have mine yet, but my understanding is that you can us pscheck to lock all cores at 2.7GHz, which is the max. they can all be at the same time..

I returned my Medion ERAZER X6823 for purchase this MSI , you think that is a good decision?
The Medion, has the following characteristics:
    I7 3630
    GTX 670MX
    8GB 1333Mhz RAM
    1366x768 matte
    Hitachi 750GB 7200rpm (very slow)
Tests in games like BF3, especially in ultra fine, NFS Most Wanted all in ultra 43fps.
    3D Mark 11 score was P3700
Do you think it is a good change to this MSI, I have long been in love: D

My apology, I misunderstood what you were asking for. I would certainly test it for you, but I have to do that after I get back to school next week. My home's internet is way too slow to download that file.

On the other Chinese forum, I think someone already posted a GX60 model with the new a10, 3dmark11 P score, got like 5100. and I also heard they had to do a bio flash.

It was supposed to be for a newer APU. If you run 3DMark without locking the CPU and no GPU overclock what do you get with the current system and drivers?

I've pushed foward my investigations about the low framerate in Tomb Raider, I think i really put the finger on the FPS-killer option :
(sorry for the foreign language text in the menu options).
These settings allowed me to play with a robust framerate EXCEPT in the Shiptown level
    [IMG]
By dipping low the "Detail level" to low, i've gained 10 FPS. Every next level (medium, normal, high) eats 2 FPS.
Exept in this part of the game, most of the time it runs at a 38-54 FPS. Still largely playable.
Also, i had a major boost of FPS with the latest 13.3 beta 2 drivers.
    Hope It'll help !

Awesome thanks man. How much of an fps increase will you get in that level if you turn tressfx off? Ive heard it ruins performance big time! Thanks again man!

In the same CPU-limited scene, with TressFX Off, there's no performance improvement, as you can see :
In less CPU-demanding scene, you can gain up to 8 FPS. Anyway, most of the time the game is smoothly playable at 35+ FPS, so I let it turn ON.
    TressFX ON
    [IMG]
    TressFX OFF
    [IMG]

Concerning the new 13.3 beta 2 drivers, i'm positively surprised how much significant the performance improvement is. For instance, this was my 3DMark11 score with the 13.1 (if I remember well) AMD Radeon HD 7660G video card benchmark result - AMD A10-4600M,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-16FK score: P4572 3DMarks, and my current score with the latests drivers : AMD Radeon HD 7660G video card benchmark result - AMD A10-4600M,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-16FK score: P4621 3DMarks.

Well the CPU being able to lock at 3.2ghz with some nice low latency 1866mhz ram should be a big improvement over 2.7ghz with 1600mhz.

My own experience (described a couple of posts earlier) is nearly a hundred points more in 3DMarks11, and a consistently smoother experience when playing Tomb Raider.

I guess my question is, for tomb raider on "low" graphics quality, is it turning shadow, shadow resolution, tesselation, SSAD, post processing, reflections, and high precision to their lowest levels? If not, I would turn all of them down and see what the FPS are.

If the clevo one works then the MSI one surely would, unless MSI made a special kind of connector that just happens to work with clevo computers that they never used :p

Clevos and MSI units can swap keyboards electrically if not always physically.

i found a pretty useful thread. OC the 7970m to 950 mhz can bring 3dmark 11 up to 4985 points. Adjusting the memory clock to 1400 mhz can bring score up to 5051. The temperature does not exceed 80 celcius while doing the benchmark. Im not sure if they use any cooler or thermal compund but certainly its pretty impressive

You need to put the raid drivers on a disc and put them on before you choose which hard drive. This is the case for ALL raid controllers without native windows support (must be released before the OS is).

This machine seems to like the lowest latencies possible, but that is only achievable with programming the SPD, otherwise CL11 is the standard and CL9 is the best you can buy standard.

    Hi Meaker.
    Thanks for your reply.
Do you know which raid drivers I need for the CRUCIAL M4 250GB Drives?

Or are the drivers on the utility disc?

    Hey there !
I'm wondering if somebody has already tested the unlocked GX60's BIOS, and if it's allowing ram timings modification ? My Corsair Vengeance kit SPD is 10-10-10-27, but the values in CPU-Z are slightly higher (10-10-11-27).
I'm searching for any extra kick in the A10's
