and you say the one pipe make that huge diffrence? it keep the CPU perfectly the same as AMD set? Iif it is true I am gonna for that soon. It will probably let me play with OC up to 4GHz if temperatures are like you say o.0

Meaker@Sager Company Representative
The AMD heatsink is designed for 35W, that extra heatpipe allows it to deal with the 45W intel CPUs and even 55W so yes.
-
Hi Rual, which games are you playing where you observe the advantage of doing this?
-
Thanks Meaker.
The last thing. Does it fit perfectly the same for AMD CPU?
If all is ok, I am gonna switch that for sure in a future. As I researched it there is some samples to buy but with huge price (used with grade C ~30$, new ~70$) + overpriced shipping price to me at 25$. I am not sure if it is rly worth it. If you have some cheaper source please inform me -
use PSCHECK and pstate statut there is various tuto on the web.
like Tuto Boost Cpu Triniry/richland - Processeurs - Portables 4 Gamers -
the A8 I had
3.6 @ 1.169
4.0 @ 1.275-1.288
4.2 @ 1.33
if you use overdrive this one don t block throttling, PSCHECK do it -
Hello, I tested several games far cry 3, crysis 3 grid 2 remenber me,
f1 2012, f1 2013, gun 3 biggest difference I've noticed that even change the a8-5550es cpu, the gpu load is higher when playing with the integrated graphics disabled. -
of course it works but there is a problem with crazy squinting display.
-
're right per se can be fixed by making several adjustments
-
lol. why? As I remember you had the same problem
-
I already told you I fix connecting it to another screen and the catalyst in climbing options I acivando and off is managed also with new drivers 13.12 to improved, to me at least it works for me I do not have that lying not win anything with it.
before insulting you should ask -
lol there was not any insult. maybe you dont exactly understand what I am writing (so I can suppose cause for example acivando isnt an english word even o.0)
the other side is that not everyone have another screen. So the problem still exists. -
then you can forgive can be a problem of google translator
My English is not very good, and the external display is that it is not a permanent solution for most people since it is a laptop there and lose the essence but if you want more performance is what's -
Im going to try it aswell tonight. I also have an extra screen. What settings did you change in ccc to fix the problem?
-
Raul, That MSI_enable will work for a gx70 with a 8970M?
-
Thanks will try and report back
-
I guess I should also work I have a GX60
-
anything, prueva with 13.12 drivers that also improves
-
Hi tried it and it worked wonders Crysis 3 runs smooth in the jungel all maxed except AA. Couldnt do tjat before and no flickering
-
perfect, certainly now has more gpu load
-

Hi rual one more question, what is the uma frame buffer size? Will it help gaming perform if I increase it to 2gb?
-
@madmax16
its just what we are talking about
we didnt solve it yet. you can try to set 16 bit colour display set but it helps only a little -
I do not know, that I have not tried
-
Check your temps. I dont think it is the cause but in the past I experianced the stipes/glitches when my 3d card overheated. Try using turbo fan and see if it is stil there.
-
Hi can any body tel me what the uma frame buffer is? And is bigger better?
-
Did q quick bench and there is a slight improvement in fire strike
-
-
Hmmm... If it's the heat.... That's bad, I don't overclocked or something. Only change that the 8970 is on every time.
-
Did you play a while woth turbofan enabled?
-
No
I tested playing the elder scrolls online beta with and withour disableing the iGpu... conclusion, the dGPU is 10 Grad higher with "dGPU only setting".
If i play in bios to "only dGPU", the temperatur get up to 82 Grad than the Fan blows fullspeed, the Temp go down to 77, than it goes high again.
the Notebook is 5 Weeks old and not much used. No Dusk in there or something.
I thought i will buy a Notebook cooler like Coolermaster NotePal U3. -
Hello raul-77

Where did u find it cos I changed some bios settings and now its bricked
-
happened to me too. Luckily Raul, told me where the bios battery is hiding. Try removing battery for a few minutes, if you do not fix will have to disassemble the keyboard (look tutorial) and make cmos, disconnect the battery and magically returns to normal. Do not touch anything without knowing brick falls, follow guides Raul.
if you mean the screen resolution in display properties win 8 -
So the CMOS battery is under the keyboard
-
first remove ac and battery. remove touch panel. Then unscrew keyboard and then you will see a Plia a system a little strange, open the blister carefully and you disconnect a pole, then reassemble the battery with electrical tape. before closing test to see if it boots. Add to bios date
-
How do I remove touch panel
-
There is a white metal casing how do I remove it
-
you changed the speed of RAM? you have to do what he did jamieT93 http://forum.notebookreview.com/msi/692264-offical-msi-gx60-owners-lounge-344.html
-
No I set internal GPU off in the bios, now it wont boot as in a black screen appears when I press the power so I have to reset the bios but there is a metal casing under the keyboard
-
I have to open the keyboard but there is a white casing
-
keyboard when you retire, find a yellow rubber blister which leave two wires one red and one black, open the blister with minimal damage, to gain access to one of the cables and so desconeztalo. Once completed our purpose, you need to position the cable to your terminal in the position it was in the stack and cerrardo electrician with electrical tape
