Yes, many times. And i know where memory overclocking is done. Default ram setting and XMP1 show same memory settings as HyperX advertised. Just never fiddled there before. Just left ram on default.

2666 cl15-17-17-35 1.2v. I checked hyperx website about the Impact Sodimm and it states that maximum supported is 3200mhz

Yeah then it should do 3600 if not more at cl20/22

Try cl20 first then cl22 if it doesn't work. If that doesn't work try 3466 cl20

Btw for the timings, the last value should be 2x cl or 2x cl +2

Take a picture of your memory timings in the bios too. I need to take a look at the secondary timings as well.

Download thaiphoon burner and take a screenshot of your ram information.

That's strange. Try other guides on reading ram info with thaiphoon burner.

Why can't Thaiphoon Burner read SPD? The most probable reason for this issue is an unsupported SMBus Controller of your processor or chipset.

Maybe bacause my processor is so new i dno

I need to see what memory chips your ram is using.

Yours looks to be Sk Hynix ram but which type is it? There are many types and they will affect how much you can overclock.

I have the same rams as yours on my GE75
    HyperX Impact 32GB ( 2x16 GB) DDR4 2666MHz Kit memory module

I had raised the uncore voltage as suggested by the guys in the forum

    QUOTE
To raise the uncore voltage go to:
Advanced > OverClocking Performance Menu > Uncore

Set Uncore Voltage Offset to 125.
Make sure Offset Prefix is set to " +".

Now go into Windows and set the System Agent for all your profiles in ThrottleStop to +125mV.
    UNQUOTE

Then go to overclock RAM Settings in "Manual" mode and enter the following numbers

    Memory Reference Clock 133
    Memory Ratio 12
    QCLK Odd Ratio Disabled
    tCL 18
    tRCD/tRP 21
    tRAS 42
    tCWL 18
    tFAW 36
    tREFI 12480
    tRFC 560
    tRRD_L 0
    tRDD_S 0
    tRTP 12
    tWR 24
    tWTR_L 0
    tWTR_S 0
    Memory Voltage 1.25V
    NMode 2
    DllBwEn [0] 0
    DllBwEn [1] 1
    DllBwEn [2] 2
    DllBwEn [3] 2

That was worked for me with 3200 MHz and have an Absolute Latency 11.25 ns

    Hope that helps you

Trefi 52500 -trfc 570 and memory ratio x12.

Uncore offset is the System Agent voltage that we have to give it 125 milli volts.
After you overclock the RAM you will have a bit of increase of the temperatures and this is normal

I dont use ThrottleStop, I have undervolted my CPU -90mv on INTEL XTU, has Uncore nothing to do with my CPU? The Uncore is for ram?

Uncore it's that feed the memory control and some other thinks at cpu.its not overclock but give more voltages to that thinks.
For me xtu its crap compare to throttlestop

I believe tt u cannot overclock your RAM without increase the voltage of the system Agent through BIOS and then at either throttlestop or XTU

Thank you so much! Ur ram overclock worked. However my cpu is running +10c. And I cant undervolt it further than -90mv, or is that different now that i increased Uncore?

Yes, I changed TDP readings of CPU to stop Power Limit Throttling, so AC Loadline and DC Loadline is at 5. I cant do more than -90mv. However before this change i couldnt do more than -100mv anyway. All other GE75 owner with i9-10980hk ive talked to reports the same undervolt limit.

I suggest use throttlestop and undervolt 125 mv the CPU Core and 125 mv the cache.
Those beauties need some modifications though such as making some openings underneath with a wire mess, plus somehow try to pick it up a bit ( 1 cm is enough) by putting a book or some custom made rubber feet.
Undervolt as above with 125 mv and use a laptop cooling pad.
Next thing is repasting CPU , GPU & VRams, but this is another story full of pain.
But NOT pain NOT gain in MSI Laptops ;)

On 4.5 ghz it reaches 90c while gaming Apex Legends, however on 4.2ghz it reaches 80c max. I could benchmark Firestrike with 4.7ghz without it reaching 90c, but Timespy on 4.6ghz reached 94c.

4.2ghz seems to be the best for temperatures. I have gamed on 4.5ghz but cpu is 80-88c all the time which i personally dont like
