actually didn't see the attachment. my bad. I will try and install the bios later today.

lol, I just never change my laptop badge. but yeah, had an original razer blade, then the blade 2, then the pro, then the blade 14. then an apache, then a dominator, then an alienware 17, now a titan gt80 haswell. almost sold it and kept the gt72s dragon pro with the 980 GTX. keeping the titan, and currently have a surface book that's likely to be sold after I receive my HP Spectre 13t next week.

So the BIOS fixes the hibernation crash as well? That is great news! Is it specific for haswell including both 4720hq and 4980hq?

Just to verify, does the new beta BIOS work with the GT80 Titan SLI-263? Also, does it fix the sleep issue as well as the hibernation crashes?

hmm, after waking from sleep, my wifi doesn't want to work. though to be fair I took out the killer wireless card a long time ago, been running with the intel 8260 card which played nicer with my router. after rebooting wifi again works fine.

    @MSIGeno @MSI Myco

Having a few issues with my -002 lately
    1. The latest graphics drivers create a large square glitch instead of a mouse when coming out of sleep to logon screen.
    2. The Steelseries keyboard looses the ability to launch applications from the fn+# macros after a few reboots after installation
    Also, I have a request:
    • I would love to see the ability to use the trackpad as a drawing pad in applications like photoshop as it has pressure sensing.
    Thanks!

    1. Try the previous version of driver and see if the problem persists.
    2. Remove the software completely, reboot, and then reinstall it. Don't overwrite it.

1 is an issue with most of the recent drivers (at minimum the last 3 drivers)
Even does it in single GPU mode

You can reset the EC by pressing and hold the power button for 20-30 sec (without ac connected) then release. connect the ac and turn on. thats it.

Thanks for the information regarding beta BIOS. I will try them out later this weekend myself. Its such great news as it is something I actually didn't expect to get "fixed" by MSI. I was hoping nvidia might change back whatever happened after 353.62.

But all's well that ends well.

Just to verify, has anyone with the Beta BIOS been using a broadwell i7? Or is everyone on the beta BIOS running Haswell? I am on Broadwell and just want to verify that the BIOS will work with my computer.

Yes, I checked, and under the model name, it says that the model name is MS-1812. That should mean that the BIOS will be save on my GT80 SLI-263, right?

"We have been receiving several reports of TDR problem at our gaming notebooks especially with GT80 2Qx Titan series(MS-1812). Users may see a pop-up message like the following: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode driver, Version XXX.XX stopped responding and has successfully recovered." after a display blackout. Now we have come out a BETA BIOS, please if you have been suffering this problem, try to update system BIOS by following the steps below."
