having fun with the razer blade? how many times it fail so far? -
actually didn't see the attachment. my bad. I will try and install the bios later today.
lol, I just never change my laptop badge. but yeah, had an original razer blade, then the blade 2, then the pro, then the blade 14. then an apache, then a dominator, then an alienware 17, now a titan gt80 haswell. almost sold it and kept the gt72s dragon pro with the 980 GTX. keeping the titan, and currently have a surface book that's likely to be sold after I receive my HP Spectre 13t next week.hmscott likes this. -

Good, can you test The hibernation and sleep? Are you using The last drivers?
-
using latest drivers, hibernation is on, still no display crashes. i'm happy. though I will probably flash the custom vbios now and see if it works as well.
-
So the BIOS fixes the hibernation crash as well? That is great news! Is it specific for haswell including both 4720hq and 4980hq?
-
Just to verify, does the new beta BIOS work with the GT80 Titan SLI-263? Also, does it fix the sleep issue as well as the hibernation crashes?
-
mine is the 4720hq titan, and no crashes so far
-
hmm, after waking from sleep, my wifi doesn't want to work. though to be fair I took out the killer wireless card a long time ago, been running with the intel 8260 card which played nicer with my router. after rebooting wifi again works fine.

@MSIGeno @MSI Myco
Having a few issues with my -002 lately
- The latest graphics drivers create a large square glitch instead of a mouse when coming out of sleep to logon screen.
- The Steelseries keyboard looses the ability to launch applications from the fn+# macros after a few reboots after installation
- I would love to see the ability to use the trackpad as a drawing pad in applications like photoshop as it has pressure sensing.
-
The point 1 i saw before with 353.62

1. Try the previous version of driver and see if the problem persists.
2. Remove the software completely, reboot, and then reinstall it. Don't overwrite it. -

1 is an issue with most of the recent drivers (at minimum the last 3 drivers)
Even does it in single GPU mode -

Can you take a picture of the symptom? -

Crap hard shutdown my laptop and it's not responding to trying to turn it on
-
mason2smart Notebook Virtuoso
I had a HDMI plugged in at the time -- could it be an ec issue
-
mason2smart Notebook Virtuoso
Nvr mind plugged it in and it powered up
-
mason2smart Notebook Virtuoso
What might cause this? -
You can reset the EC by pressing and hold the power button for 20-30 sec (without ac connected) then release. connect the ac and turn on. thats it.

Yea I got it working thnx

Thanks for the information regarding beta BIOS. I will try them out later this weekend myself. Its such great news as it is something I actually didn't expect to get "fixed" by MSI. I was hoping nvidia might change back whatever happened after 353.62.
But all's well that ends well.Dannemand and mason2smart like this. -

Just to verify, has anyone with the Beta BIOS been using a broadwell i7? Or is everyone on the beta BIOS running Haswell? I am on Broadwell and just want to verify that the BIOS will work with my computer.

Is your note MS-1812? Check in bios setup information.

Yes, I checked, and under the model name, it says that the model name is MS-1812. That should mean that the BIOS will be save on my GT80 SLI-263, right?mason2smart likes this.
