    I got repaired.

I took all ram out and reset cmos with disconnecting cmos battery, then I but it differend memory (slower) in and laptop was live again.
Before I tried boot without gtx780m / cpu - but still nothing.
No everything is working and I got hard lessons "don't touch if you don't know what is what" :D

Thank You all for good advice !

You don't need to reset the CMOS, you just need to seat a different ram configuration, glad it's working again.

Hey guys, I recently updated my Killer Network drivers for the E1202. This fixed a recurring BSOD I had, however, this resulted in a problem where my wireless will randomly drop for extended periods of time. Anyone have any ideas or fixes?

You'll want to make sure that the OS isn't powering off the device either through a power profile, or via a device property.

Hi guys. Okay so I bought my GT60 about a month ago and with the exception of some issues here and there, it seems to be running fine. One odd thing I've noticed is that the storage space in the ssd sometimes decreases itself. I'm a bit of a computers beginner so I'm not sure if that's some kind of caching thing or whatever but I don't install or download anything yet the space decreases. Oh and I'm not using system restore so it's not that. Also, recently, I had issues with the bluetooth. It wasn't working (the toggle button couldn't be turned on and off). I couldn't see the bluetooth audio device in the control panel either. So I installed qualcomms bluetooth suite and it sort of started to work but reverted back to form. The other pecuilar thing was that somehow, this install increased my ssd storage from around 57 to 63 gb or something like that. I don't really know what's wrong with it. I can live without the bluetooth but this weird storage thing is kind of scaring me. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

Dunno abt the storage issues but if you have problems then refresh if you have win 8 & update os+drivers to 8.1. The new update seem to fix most of the issues in my case. Also get an ssd manager (mine is samsung ssd, so installed magician) to manage ssd & os ssd settings

Thanks for the help. I'm on windows 8.1 and the drivers are up to date. Something weird happened again as one restart decreased the storage space from 69 to 53 again. I'm really confused now. I've run multiple virus scans and nothing shows up. I'm really lost :/

Hmm, please tell us about the config. Maybe then we can tell whether it's an hw/sw problem & troubleshoot accordingly

Hey so I sort of figured out where the storage was going. The SSD was making hiberfil.sys and pagefile.sys to save the state of the computer for hibernating. Sorry for bring such a n00b guys. Thanks for all the help though!!

Actually the fast boot is because of the hiberfil.sys. You could try turning it off from the power options and get back that storage space. As in, windows boots even faster than a normal ssd because "fast startup is enabled". It's not technically hibernating.

So my issue with the Wireless card is still persisting. I used a USB card it worked fine. The problem is as follows: the Killer card will randomly lose connection, and Chrome will be stuck on "resolving host" until I reboot the card by using airplane mode on/off. Again, USB wireless card worked fine, and so does LAN.

I also have a new issue. The orange light on the power button is always on now, even though I set the GPU settings to be integrated unless I'm running a game. I rebooted the laptop and it still defaults to orange. Any ideas?

Yes. This issue only started happening after I installed these drivers.

Is there a particular way that Killer drivers need to be installed and uninstalled? I remember someone saying a while back there was something very specific I had to delete.

Also, any ideas about the orange light always being on? Having the 780m always on seriously drains at battery life.

Do you do any gaming? If steam is running in the background, it is defaulted to use the 780m, you would need change that.

You can download the driver and the cleaner.
Remove the existing driver, and then use cleaner after.
Reboot your PC, and install the new driver, see if it helps.

There are some frequently used applications including browser and steam that requires the use of nVidia GPU because they use flash to play video.

Both steam and chrome are set to use integrated. I have not changed any drivers or settings except that one day it just suddenly started defaulting to the orange light.

I'll try the reinstall of the drivers later.

    Hello guys,

It's been forever I haven't come back here.
So to tell y'all I've been using the 331.65 Nvidia WHQL drivers for a month now : I'm pretty satisfied even though I met a few random stuttering issue on X-com Unknown... (the game is not really ressource demanding).

Anyway, for a month, I've got maybe 5-6 blue screens (the IRL_Driver_xx... stuff I don't remember). The issue definitely comes from the drivers.
What is the most up-to-date and reliable drivers at this time ? Official or beta, I don't really care. I'm just tired of getting this blue screen stuff. I used a lot of word and powerpoint and it starts to freak me out.

    Thx for your responses :)

Update the BIOS and EC, those sometimes help.
Update both Intel driver and nVidia driver since they are tied together due to Optimus technology.

Interesting that that geforce experience has extra built in optimus settings for programs. That should be included in the base drivers IMO.

Best bet is going to be using the link on the first page of this thread to the MSI downloads page for drivers, BIOS, EC etc. In addition to that, most of us run the latest Nvidia drivers for the GPU and the latest Intel HD drivers for the iGPU. For everything else I just run the MSI supplied drivers without issue.

    Hi Guys,

The Bluetooth in the Killer networks is an Atheos. They do not supply a driver that supports a lot of what BT can do, such as audio. However the Intel AC does. My daughters GE60 has the Intel AC wireless and the BT finds the audio headsets etc.

Installing alternate drivers with Killer's BT is hit and miss. So I am installing the Intel AC wireless and BT. BUT I NEED A DISASSEMBLY GUIDE.

I know I have to get under the front panel but it seems pretty hard to remove. I have taken the back off for repasting etc, but want to know how much more I need to do. Remove the MoBo also? Just some screws for the Keyboard and then the bezel over the Wireless card?

    TIA
    Luto

PS: I saw the low res videos and PDF for older ones but really want pics and more detailed instructions than "remove here in broken English"

The power button board is simply clipped down, lift it from the edge of the casing upwards and slowly pull it up, if it gets stuck do it from the other side too. Be aware there is a cable below it so be gentle. That will reveal the wireless card, the only screw involved is the one holding the module down.

Thank you very much Meaker. I finally managed to put it in its place, I began worrying that plastic pieces should break. What did I do? I used some "pinzas para depilar" (I don´t know how to tranlsate it) that a girl kindly lend me :)

    Happy 2014 to everyone!!!

I managed to get a Sony HMZ T2 3D viewer, I want to play Tomb Raider in 3D or watch a 3D Blu Ray but I dont have 3D options aviable in Nvidia Control Panel. I've Installed last drivers twice with no results. I also downloaded de 3D TV software 14 day trial from nvidia but when I want to install it, a message appears saying that it is already installed.

I know the Sony HMZ is a 3D gadget, cause it plays 3D with PS3 with both games and movies. Does anyone know what am I missing?

HDMI is poor in performance versus DisplayPort, try using a MiniDP to HDMI Active Adapter and see if you can do 3D.

I think the SSD MSATA already died? (the pc is 6 months)

This. To be honest, setting up a 3D system with the laptop has been a pain in the , mostly because it needs to be certified by nvidia, ortherwise you meddle and fiddle with settings, drivers, forged certificates until it works for a bit.

It's even worse when even if properly recognized as a 3D device, it still won't play 3D content.

Thank you everyone for your kindly responses! I tried what Kevin recommended but I wasn't able to get 3D even with miniDP, so I'm gonna return those 3D Glasses.

About those HMZ from SONY, I liked them.

    PROs:
+The image quality from those OLED screens are quite good,
+I didn't notice any ghosting at all and colors are nice.
+5.1 Surround sound is also very good (much better than Razer Megalodon)
    +Very good immersion

    CONs:
-It's very complicated to get them adjusted to your head
-It feels a little cheap from the outside
-Is quite expensive, for that price I should recommend a good monitor or a giant sized 3D TV

    Speaking of monitors,

If I get a 120/144hz monitor what should I expect from my GT60 2OD? I'm afraid that I should get no more than 60hz via HDMI/miniDP...

HDMI will limit it down to 30-60Hz depending by resolution, so only DP can give you 120/144Hz.

Just wanted to point out that apparently with the new drivers 332.21 the 780m FINALLY behaves like it should when using the hdmi port or the mini display port. Every other driver before this one liked clocking the card all the way to 771 Mhz for anything.. even if its usage remained below 3% on average. Now, it would seem that it adjusts it accordingly to the usage. Meaning less power consumed, less heat and noise.

I would like to hear other's experiences regarding this. As for example, when an external screen set to main screen and for example Chrome was opened, it would show as it using the 780m on NVIDIA GPU Activity, even if I had set it to use the integrated on the NVIDIA control panel and even if when launching it I right clicked and chose run with graphics processor -> Integrated Graphics which said default anyway.. but it wouldn't care about any of those things and use the 780m anyway. And doing so, would mean that the card was now clocked at 771 Mhz. I had to set the built in display as the main screen, launch chrome there and then set the external screen as the main display and doing so, chrome would use the HD4600 and the NVIDIA clocks would remain at 135 Mhz. It would seem that has been fixed. Hopefully as I haven't rebooted the laptop since upgrading the drivers or maybe I am missing a setting somewhere

Anyone else have any experience with these nvidia optimus shenanigans?
