MSI Laptops Drivers

There is a newer driver for the Aquantia 2.1.1.0.
I download it from the Support side from Aquantia after the last update for Windows 10 i had issues with the connection with the LAN Adapter.

 

Do you have a link you could share?

Also, since you are using that Aquantia driver, does that mean that the GT75 has the Aquantia as the LAN chip and doesn't use the Killer E2500 chip so only the Aquantia Driver is needed for you or do you still need both?

1. choose your chip for the GT75VR this should be the AQC107 (i check it with the Hardware ID in the Device Manager)

4. Accept the Terms

Yes, i can confirm that the Aquantia Driver is only needed for the LAN chip.
And the Killer suit recognize the LAN chip as well as Aquantia 10Gbps chip.

 

so you mean your laptop has both the Aquantia LAN chip in addition to the Killer E2500 Chip? That's very confusing

 

No, sorry it is only the Aquantia LAN chip.

Synaptics Touchpad Driver downgraded to v19.3.4.193 as the later one I posted only contains INF Drivers but no Synaptics Software/Control Panel

 

Oh okay.i have read the changelog say previous version 19.10.124 control gesture not working. but in version 19.10.125 it seems the same.
I think msi has improved with the previously signed status it installs automatically from windows but does not have the certificates/not signed by msi

Maybe you wanna give this driver a chance.
it is direct from the Nahimic Driver Support page.
i use it for my gt75 and it is working well it should work for the gt73 as well.

if you follow this link you need to copy&paste the raltek link otherwise you have no direct connect to the download.

 

I don't understand what you said, sorry.

Just look at the main the first post again. I downgraded a few drivers after testing. All the ones listed now work 100% fine.

 

@Djadit when you installed the 6.0.1.8401 realtek driver you got no message that there is a newer version of the nahimic software?
I install the driver and during installation the Windows Store open and offer me the download/installation of the nahimic 3 software.

Sorry dude, no other Links for MSI apps in the store.
Release for the new 8th Generation Devices is the 16th of April and i think on this date could be more apps in the store from MSI if they will do this step.
I see in another screen of you that you have the realtek audio control app could you share this link?
i reinstall it because the audio controll was shortly displayed and closed directly and after the reinstall it is not existing on my device.

yes all applications run smoothly
and now some utilites msi when installing must connect to the internet. like realtek audio control and nahimic are available in windows store .
i am waiting msi dragon center release on msi website
do you have synaptic control panel? what version of synaptic touchpad driver you installed? What version 19.5.10.125 ?

the version which was shared from phoenix but it is not running as accepted.
i set the mark to disable the toudpad when an mouse is connected but this doesn't work.
i check the seetings in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTPEnh
dword DisableIntPDFeature:
the value is 22 but it should be 33.
i change the second registry entry as well under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Synaptics\SynTPEnh
dword is the same and the same value 33.
But it doesn't work as i except from the past experience when i change the values to this.

The realtek app is not working i open it and then it close instant. i try different solutions i can find but they do not solve it.

2nd thing the synaptic control panel was not displayed but how to activate it is not the problem.
when i set the mark to disable the internal pointing device when an external USB device is connected this doesn't work.
the touchpad is always activate. to be honest i didn't use the touchpad so i disable it it is just a workaround but not a solution.

 

have you tried try rollback realtek driver in device manager
If still didn't work
Try uninstall device and checked include driver
And reinstall driver

do this steps several times in the last 1-2 hrs for the realtek app.

but good news synaptis is working again. looks like that my settings for windows 10 not to install driver for devices were reset after an update at the end of march or aorund the 5th of april. i looks like that i interruped the installation of the 125 synaptics driver and this seems to be the reason for the not working automatic deactivation of the internal pointing device.

 

Maybe you can use realtek audio 8383 version

At the moment there is no reason for this. Driver 8401 is working and nahimic as well. And that's all I need at the moment. And the new nahimic is nice. Less settings as in the nahimic 2+. Less is sometimes more.

 

ok, i tested a little with this new realtek audio control and i got a very short error (after hrs of installation and removing) that my device is not supported by this application.
i check the system configuration and it is the same audio chip the only difference is the chipset and the cpu.
did i miss something?

 

I am using Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.1.8383 with Nahimic 3 and it's working fine. Nahimic 2 won't install with this driver

 

I am using Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.1.8378 and Nahimic 2.5.29 which is working fine here.

 

I cant get Nahimic 3 to download from the windows store - apparently they are "having problems at/with their end."

 

Ok, then i can stay with 6.0.1.8401 the only difference for me is that i don't have now an audio manager or what else from realtek to configure some things but i don't use it before.

Dragon Center is now online but to install it on "older" GT73 and GT75 don't use the normal Setup.exe (error message that DC is only for new 8th gen CPUs) in the folder after extracting.
go into the folder "export" and use the setup_G.exe for installation.
And don't be afraid when dragon center shows under the oc tab 6 cores for your 6820HK or 7820HK .

And the new Gaming Mode it reminds me to the geforce experience from nvidia.

To install nahimic 3 minimum you must install 8383 driver
And of you want use nahimic 2 . You must installed 8378 audio driver

I download it from the GT75 8rg product page. Atm it is some kind of luck. Because it disappears from time to time. I will upload it on my onedrive and will share a link here for download. But it will take some time.

Windows store give me an error and does not download Nahimic 3

 

Well my Dragon Center is broken for me now. I tried to reinstall 1,2,1802. It "installs" but fails run on reboot.

 

%appdata% there you will find appdata\roaming go one step back that you can see the folder local, localLow and Roaming.
Go to local and find the temp folder and delete all files in temp.
sometimes this help me when i had issue with installing DC.

 

That did not help so I am left w/o Dragon Center, will not install whatever I do.

Cant even uninstall it now, geez what crapware.

Although when I loaded the GT75 8RG factory image and the new Dragon Center was there, it worked just fine.

Did you try to install it with the setup_g.exe in the export folder? or with the setup.exe?

 

I tried with the setup.exe

Edit: setup_G.exe worked

 

go into the folder "export" and use the setup_G.exe for installation this worked for me.
