No Idea why but a proper uninstall of Intel Drivers with DDU and reinstall seems to have fixed my DX12 crashes in other games (using Nvidia GPU)

I'm catching up on some updates and noticed that the posted Thunderbolt driver is still:
Intel Thunderbolt Driver v17.3.72.250

I didn't see a mention of a downgrade, so did the link just not get updated?
Also, besides the Aquantia driver, are things still compatible between the GT73 and GT75?

 

Actually, it looks like the first post recently changed (eg, I no longer see Killer 1535 listed, which is what I have, nor the Intel WLAN drivers).
Can this thread still be used for GT73 updates?

 

sorry I need to update it again. I downgraded it to stick to the MSI official drivers but the new ones work just fine so I will upgrade them in the next 24 hours as I don't have my stuff installed like the download manager to get the links

As for the drivers, everything is compatible except for the Audio and LAN you wanna grab those off the MSI site. Also, if you don't have the Intel 9260 or the Killer 1550, you wanna download the drivers from Killer Networks or Intel. If you don't know how, let me know

oh and Dragon Center doesn't work on older laptops as well.

Download the bluetooth driver directly which is v12.0.0.448

for the WLAN, download the standalone drivers by clicking on others on the top right to only get the INF files

nope, I always steal drivers from other laptops after testing that they work

From what I can tell reading through the relevant recent posts, I need:

Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.1.8378 / Nahimic v2.5.29
- Is this the correct latest pairing for GT73? Where can I find them?

nVIDIA GeForce Drivers v397.31
- standard DDU install

MSI True color 2.1.2.0
- grab latest from OP

Killer 1535 - grab from link you provided
- I don't understand what this means / how to do install from INF files: "for the WLAN, download the standalone drivers by clicking on others on the top right to only get the INF files"

I think I see the issue with that bit.ly link now. There appears to be a "%20" at the end of it. It works if I remove that. Thanks.

 

Once you download finishes, Right click the zip and choose "Extract to folder" - do so and remember the location, you can copy/paste it later.

Right click start menu and choose "Device Manager"

Scroll down and click on "Network Adapters"

You should find one that says "Killer Exx00 Gigabit Network controller"

Right Click on that entry and Choose "Update Driver"

Then in the Window that comes up choose the second option - "Browse my computer...."

Lastly click the Browse button and Point the installer to the folder you extracted your download to in step 1

 

How do you install Nahimic? I keep getting it's not compatible...

 

Please have a signature like mine which contains your laptop model and specs in order for us to help you instead of having to ask you about the model every time.

Yeah that's where I get the INF drivers and link them as we don't need the Intel PRO/SET Cancer bloat

I already have Nahimic 3 installed from the App store and it's stored under my library in my Micro$h4ft account so I don't even need the link I just go to my library and reinstall it from there

 

to be honest the msi team is not going nuts (i still hope they will)... i can't deliver any sources but at the moment it looks like to me that MS is doing the same like nvidia with their partnership programm....

And the Realtek Audio Console is not in the Store Library of my Windows Account.

Ok, MSI germany confim that MS will only allow Software updates from their Store in the future.

I translate the original (german) information into english. could be wrong but maybe it is ok.
