Does anybody have the Non MS Store version of nahimic 3 they can share ?

No "Its only Compatible with 8th Gen". Utter rubbish - the Nahimic support site had 6th and 7th Gen machines listed until yesterday.
People have it installed on 6th and 7th Gen machines.
It is a software enhancement. There is no "Hardware" need/change for it.

That's for the GT83 Titan 8RG. When I tested it, Nahimic 3 wouldn't switch to my headphones when I plug them in so I stick to the official audio drivers for my taptop

It is always nice when someone quote your posts.
Nahimic 3 and SCM are different Software Applications so what has my answer to the Nahimic 3 non MS Store installation to do with SCM?

Nothing is called ME driver version 18. The first 4 numbers mean the year and the week, when the related driver has been compiled by Intel (1811 means the 11th week of 2018. See - v1811.12.0.1115.). Still ME version 12 ;)

Pardon me if this is the incorrect location for this, but is there a version of the synaptics driver that has options to reverse the scroll direction in Win10? It's no longer in Windows settings for mouse or touchpad options. Nor can I find the heretofore ubiquitous synaptics systray 'frontend' to search for it there. I tried the 'old' registry mod, but the touchpad doesn't have a 'real' vid device path.

    Thanks!

    1. The new SCM is not working probably i can't change from GTX to Intel GPU and i get everytime an Netframework error.
    2. New Bios for GT75VR 7RF E17A2IMS.10F maybe this will change something. After flashing i will see it.

    Edit:
Nothing new for me in the bios.
    Implement Progress Indicator :vbconfused:

    Realtek - 6.0.1.83.87
    Nahimic - 1.1.6

I might need to update nahimic, could be why

UPDATE: for some reason I don't have the option to update nahimic in microsoft store.
UPDATE 2: uninstalled & reinstalled and still same version and still not working.

Please try the 8401 Realtek driver from the gt83 8Rx series.
At the moment there is no newer version in the store then the 1.1.6.

Oh ok, thought there was version 3 of nahimic already.
I installed realtek 8401 and after it doing several rounds of uninstalling drivers and rebooting several times it finally installed the new driver. nahimic is now back to work, hopefully permenantly. Thank you!

New Audio Console incoming now with MSI Logo

If you install the new driver, wait a few seconds after second restart after installation otherwise you get an error that the device is not supported.

No, it takes a little to start the services for the console. Nothing critical. Just wait a few seconds after a start before you run the console.

So... I suppose I am in the right thread here. Regarding nvidia drivers: anyone with gt75 8rg has issue where newest nvidia driver 397.64 would cause stuttering in games with latest windows update or downclocking of the card to 139MHz? And with only other available driver 390.94 screen timing out and going black (turn screen off after... in power settings) makes the entire gpu crash so bad that it results in reboot or following scenario? I am about to give up and just call msi and tell them their stuff is broken and they can really give me my money back this time.

i can check when i get home tonight. i was getting some framerate slowdown/freezes but in only one particular game, so i think it's a bit isolated. didn't look at the clocking so will have to try that out too.

I also had slight stuttering too when playing Advanced Warfare especially at the beginning but didn't notice it after that. I will try other games to see if it's not isolated...

When does the down clocking occur? Like soon into a game or does it take awhile?

It happens within a minute of launching a game and keeps on happening, tested in assassins creed origins and final fantasy xiv (only games I I have installed atm). Assassins creed seems to cause it easier. It happens only on the newest drivers but since my laptop only supports either that or the 390.94 ones from msi (that one causes gpu crash at idle), it's kinda lose-lose situation for me now. Other drivers say there is not supported hardware found since the laptop is very new. I am pretty disappointed, plan to call msi tomorrow and ask what can be done.

@Pheonix Just wanted to give you a shoutout man. As I am fairly new to all this computer tech talk, you're posts have seriously been a lifesaver! I recently bought the GT75 Titan-056 from HID Evolution (I bought it sock and added a couple SSD's) As I am new to self-performing upgrades, etc... I have spent a ton of time researching over the past month. I feel pretty confident in my ability and being able to follow directions, but with that said, I still always have questions to confirm before I attempt something. Since this is my first post, I just want to make sure I am doing this right. I have a couple questions regarding BIOS and Firmware updates, and how to figure out exactly what RAM (make/model) is preinstalled (under the board) to purchase an identicle extra 16GB stick. What would be the appropriate place/way to ask these questions in hopes that someone as knowledagble as yourself could possibly answer them?

Hello and welcome toe the forum.

Firstly, you misspelt my name so I didn't get the tag with the @ sign. It's Phoenix not Pheonix

Secondly, the best place to ask is to make a new thread with a title like "New MSI GT75 Owner, few questions" then list all your questions there. You wanna post your question in this sub-forum, then simply hit the New Thread Button: MSI

Thirdly, please copy/paste the logo in my signature and add it to the bottom of your signature, then you can copy/paste this code:

    Code:

Ignore it if you have no issues with your driver. Use it as long as possible my experience is that if an driver in the past was working it works for several month without issues. And if you have issues look first at the support page from killer networks.

Yes don't have any issues with the driver and dont even have the killer suite installed nor need it. if it's for the hotspot feature than windows have it built in so I guess I'm going to hide it.

UPDATE: I successfully hide the update now & windows shows I'm up to date
