I was wondering, is Sizing Options still recommended to use? I haven't seen it being updated for over three years on my device but it has always done the job. Is it still needed or i can just use Windows scaling?

 

MSI downgraded this Realtek UAD driver back down to v 6.0.8945.1 recently 9/28 due to MSI users with some recent MSI motherboards having serious problems with the v6.0.9013.1 version.

Hello, the following drivers are universal and can be installed on any MSI Laptops:
Make sure to right click on the zip files you just downloaded, go to Properties, then hit Unblock from the bottom right as it may be blocked since it was downloaded from the internet, if you don't do this before you run the file, then all the files that are being extracted will also have a blocked status.

To prevent this automatic blocking of files in the future so you don't have to go unblocking every file you download to ensure it runs properly, follow the guide in this thread:

Synaptics is most likely for the 8th generation of Intel.
Your laptop doesn't support this driver, your laptop needs the Intel Serial IO Driver.

Yes it's older then 9042.1, it might be MSI is having issues with the 90xx branch.

do you know if this will work with the MSI Ghost Pro 60 6QE? It has an elan trackpad, which has been causing issues recently which includes intermittently working, I've removed drivers and disabled updates, but still having an issue. It could be an intermittent hardware issue, but need to resolve before looking to replace parts.
