geez, I don't know why it took MSI several months late to post this for MSI Alpha 17 (A4DE/A4DEK) laptops on their web site since the Alpha 17 laptops series was announced back around September 2020

The link downloads the older v 6.0.9071.1 for me. Did they retract the new version from their servers?

 

clear all web browser cache & cookies, then close all web browsers and reload your favorite browser and download it again (maybe your internet provider doesn't have the most recent version of the MSI site at the time I first mentioned about the Realtek audio driver 9084 version)

it downloaded 6.0.9084.1 on my end a while ago as I've done it at least twice

well MSI has just posted another Realtek audio 6.0.9084.1 driver package but this time specifically for MSI laptops (this one listed for a recent MSI Stealth 15M model with 11th gen Intel & Geforce RTX 30 series hardware).

also recently found Nahimic 4 APO Restore tool SWC v4.1.5 w/ A-volute extension 1.2.23 driver on their web site

The Station Drivers site recently claims this now downloads v 6.0.9088.1 instead of either 9084 or 9071.

This version completely blocks the voltage control, the previous version worked.

Installed in order to pick up the updated Intel(R) WDT driver.​

I use ThrottleStop.

 

Is WDT driver beneficial? Do you need to enable it on BIOS or anywhere else after installing XTU? Can you keep the driver even if you uninstall the XTU software?

 

I have no idea.
I don't need to activate anything in the bios.
When you delete the XTU, the driver is deleted, you need to copy the driver in advance.

This updated driver is not currently available in the Microsoft repository.

I first heard about WDT driver from you, and seeing that you are willing to install XTU just to get this driver but use ThrottleStop instead, I was curious as to what difference does that driver make.
