it looks like Nahimic support will have to issue another updated Nahimic 3 UWP app (maybe v1.4.5.0 or higher). not sure why they have to screw things up with either a buggy app version or that nahimic mirroring thingy.

if & when I get a used MSI MS-7641 v4.0 or MSI 760gma-p34(fx) board, I may get a chance to try out your modded Realtek uad + Nahimic 3 driver and see how things go on there
Nahimic 3 has been stable for ages however it would seem they decided to follow Microsoft's Bible of if its not broke then break it. I managed to solve the mirroring issue I think however that UWP is a mess on v1.4.4.0 .
Which begs the next question of if they locked the UWP down to set laptops.
As for you and the mainboard you mentioned if it works nicely then the list will need a complete redo.
Let's just hope new UWP fixes the issues as people on the Nahimic help site are also saying they are having issues with the new UWP.
Right new driver has been released so will be making a new Installer later today after creating and testing it fully!
Edit: Nahimic Mirroring has been removed from the installer, as well as Nahimic 3 still being 1.4.2.0 till they have solved the issue or i have found a way round the issue.
However due to Nahimic 3 1.4.4.0 being on the Windows 10 Store it will still update it after a clean install of the drivers overriding the packaged 1.4.2.0 version. If this happens please follow the instructions i will post in the Driver post under the known issue and solutions section.

Install instructions:
- Disconnect from the internet.
- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.

Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!
- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).
- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.8945.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer
- Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Repair/Driver Update or Fix Nahimic 3. However its recommended to select Full install.
- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!
- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable
SecureBoot!!
- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection.
***[IMPORTANT]**** Known possible bugs and fixes:
Issue: Nahimic 3 updated to Version 1.4.4.0 and no longer works.
Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates.
Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.
Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.
Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then head to c:\Audio\8459.1\ and run the launch.exe file to start the reinstall.
Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Head to c:\Audio\8459.1\ folder and launch the launch.exe file. When the installer has loaded select Repair Nahimic, this will then uninstall the Nahimic 3 APO drivers and UWP then reinstall them after a reboot,
this should fix the issue.
Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Please run DDU, select the Audio and Realtek WIP. Use Clean and Restart then reinstall.

I managed to get everything working on your previous release, but the sound mirroring didn't show up in nahimic. It took like 3 reinstalls and repairs. Yesterday Microsoft Store got my nahimic updated and now sound mirroring also shows up in nahimic. Can't test it at the moment, hope i can help. Owning a GF63 8RD. Thank you for your work !

Exactly. Using the installer you always provide. I tried installing like 3 times and always getting a faulty driver for sound sharing, and then i tried to repair the drivers / nahimic and got all drivers working but no sharing option in nahimic. Yesterday i got pushed an update that has that too.
Ok so its sounding like a file is not overriding an existing file or something along that line. I am looking into the issues though rest assured of that. Just waiting on my Firmware compile for my Router and then i will be back to testing.
Right i am re-writing the AIO Installer to remove some features but include a Full destructive Uninstall for the audio drivers and services, as well as adding a Downgrade Option for Nahimic 3 UWP should the issue arise again where there is a compatibility issue after Microsoft Store has updated the application.
So until the new Installer is complete new drivers are on hold for now.
The new installer setup will also mean the file is slightly bigger too.
I want to point out a bug that forced me to remove this modded pack I was using for more than a year now. I am not even sure if it's a bug though.
I get Discord and Call of Duty Warzone running simultaneously. As soon as I get to main menu of the game, the sound chat from Discord starts to crack/lag/distort/you name it. It gets better or completely heals in the game when the battle starts however up to that point I just cannot figure out what people I have been conference-calling with say - it's that inaudibly ear-bleeding.
I removed the modded pack, got Windows Update do its work and the problem is gone.
Also the new installer is now nearly completed and will require testers.
We now have the following Options
Full Install
Install Without Nahimic
Full Uninstall (This is a more destructive uninstall as it will remove both Realtek and Nahimic drivers by force! so should only be used if there are issues, it will also reset all profile on Nahimic 3 as registry keys will be deleted)
Downgrade Nahimic 3 UWP to packed version (If Microsoft Store Updates Nahimic 3 and it doesn't work or there is issues after using this will restore the Nahimic 3 UWP with the one that was packaged with the Modded Installer!)
EDIT: The install is now completed and packaged with the current version,
Full uninstall after completing will quit the application and will require the .exe to be re-run and then either selecting Full Install or Install Without Nahimic will be required.
Downgrade Nahimic option will uninstall the Windows 10 Store updated version and revert it back to the Nahimic 3 UWP from the Mod Package, then reboot.
If you'd like to test the Beta Installer let me know via PM and i will give you the link, but please bare in mind its a Beta there might be bugs in the install that will need to be fixed and looked at.
Major Edit: As i know a few people might be using this on other brands (nothing wrong with that at all), however to insure that support is given to the correct Brand install i have changed the installer to only install on MSI based systems. At the same time the new installer has been tested by one kind user and the new installer seems to be working without ill effects, however i am going to need more volunteers to test the new installer so that bugs can be found earlier before the new Installers use to the general population.

So as i have some free time with other projects now completed, i am going to make a New Installer from scratch where i will try and keep the size of the installer as smaller as possible whilst maintaining the features. The new Installer will need a new Project name (So open to suggestions).
It will no longer have Realteks Installer anymore included as the install will use pnputil.exe to install the drivers. If after testing this works correctly not only will it make it quicker to update the installer for newer drivers. Doing it this way will also allow for a possible Stock installer as well but this is depends on if i have time to split all the drivers up or if its even worth doing it this way (Will like user input for this).
It will still have Full Install, Realtek Audio Drivers only install, Full uninstall (which both will Installs will run before each install). It will also still have the Nahimic 3 UWP downgrade option for unsupported/modded installs.

Since the drivers for my MSI B350 Tomahawk (ALC892 and Windows 10 1909 x64) are very outdated and trying different manual methods to get the Realtek UAD and Nahimic 3 working failed miserably, I decided to try your installer as a last resort but alas, Nahimic3 refused to work (it loads for a around 10 seconds and then it says "Nahimic could not be launched".
Maybe I could your beta installer to see if that helps?

Firstly i will need a DXDiag report from you, can't help without it as i need to know the Codec ID for your sound card in full, ALC892 is great and all but i need the full ID.
Secondly did you follow the steps in the instructions and disabled SecureBoot as this step is required so that modded drivers can be installed.
Thirdly if you did the others, then maybe try using the latest DDU and running a clean session for the Soundcard then use the Full uninstall.

Yes, I followed the steps to the letter, I saw it entering test mode and installing everything correctly even after it completed, doing the "Repair Nahimic" step.
I will run DDU and try the installer again and report back.
Glad its working, PM's on here are called Conversations. Also Window Store version 1.4.4.0 will not work as your ID is not in a special file that comes with the update which lists the Subsystem ID's that are allowed in a .dll file which which 1462DA34 is not in it. The joys of exclusivity deals.
Its also why on the latest version there is a Downgrade Nahimic button to overcome this issue.
As for the "sorry to have bother you this silly thing.", your not bothering me i am supplying a driver pack thus i take the responsibility to help out with issues. I don't just drop a Mod pack and run to the hills.

@djlenoir have been working on a new installer as a Proof of concept, so far the results look good.
However i am going to need more testers with a 6th / 7th / 8th /9th /10th gen system to further test the new installer.

There has been some major changes to the installer as well including the Nahimic Mirror driver installing correctly (but in a disabled state).
I will need reports from each tester on Pass and Fails, with what did or didn't work. I have spent some time on this to try and iron out the bugs but will need the tests to insure its bug free.
Once all testing has been completed the POC code will be then forwarded out as a Beta for all to trial before becoming Final Release.

this Nahimic 1.5.2 pack from MSI that has newest AVoluteNH3Ext.inf & NH3ProductSettings.cab files - A-Volute APO Extension driver is v1.1.34.63375 dated 4/22/2020 but the package still has Nahimic SWC APO 1.7.2 component driver
also, I did sort of get Nahimic 3 v1.4.4 app working on some of my systems but the app is missing the Audio, Microphone & Sound Tracker sections (and only Settings section is available) as shown in this pic - another reason to avoid using the 1.4.4 version
closing & reloading the Nahimic 3 v1.4.4 app will always be kinda like this - gonna downgrade that app to either 1.4.1 or 1.4.2 to have the missing audio options in the app restored
The Nahimic 1.4.4 app is locked down to specific subsystem IDs as it is an exclusive feature for newer MSI laptops. The application makes a check against a .DLL file to validate you are one of the supported systems at launch, and there is not currently a known workaround. The new Nahimic adds support for the mirror driver. The behavior you described indicates you are not one of the supported models, so you can downgrade using @
hacktrix2006 installer to the 1.4.2 version. Make sure you disable auto updates in the Microsoft store or it will auto-magically upgrade you again to 1.4.4 and you will have to repeat the process to downgrade.
@epguy3 There is will add the files to the next driver release, there is no real point in repacking the installer. It will simply confuse everyone.
As for the Nahimic 3 V1.4.4 issue i get the same thing too but its to do with an ID check within the latest version of Nahimic's UWP which then uses a .dll file to check on with the Subvendor ID's that are allowed to use it, this is due to an Exclusivity deal it would seem with MSI.
However i am working on a new installer script that is being actively tested right now.
Edit: Side note, out of that pack the only thing that is new is just the Extension files, Mirror and SWC drivers are the same in the new installer right now.

it may have been available thru WU but not yet listed from MS update catalog as MUC still has the 1.7.2 version and not the newer 1.8.1 version (ms may post it there later this month)
the WU link may get recorded onto a local windows update log file or event viewer file
try using "powershell get-windowsupdatelog" command in powershell cmd prompt & view the log file in notepad to get the actual link from MS

PSA: If you have a 6th or 7th Gen System please do not upgrade your Nahimic 3 Application though Windows 10 Store, it will bug out. However if you running a 8th/9th/10th Gen System you can update your Nahimic 3 Application through the Windows 10 Store!.
I take it with the lack of reports back from users saying if there are issue means everything is working as expected and the new installer can now be classed as Final Release ?
