Dxdiag can be run by pressing Windows key + R then type dxdiag in run box. Then save all. The file it makes link me in a DM.

Possibly useful drivers for a new release over the msi driver thread ? OgUrecheK posted some new realtek and nahimic files.

 

Found it, we are already on the same driver as posted only difference is the APO driver is V4 and not V3.

Ah right I got you will make a modded pack version soon enough lol. My brain is not working right from all this Lock Down isolation which started in March 2020.


Downloaded the Driver, waiting on my server to finish the Router Firmware compiling and i will then start moding the driver I am also going to be refactoring the Device ID's again so i can get ready to test APO v4 on Older then 10th Gen systems.

Install instructions:

- Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)

- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.

- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!

- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).

- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9079.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer

- Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.

- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!

- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!

- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)

Known possible bugs and fixes:

Issue: Two Nahimic Mirroring device show up in Device Manager:
Solution: run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9079.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Uninstall first before using Full Install.

Issue: Nahimic 3 updated via Windows 10 Store and no longer works.
Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates,
then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9079.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Downgrade Nahimic.

Issue: Ran Nahimic 3 Downgrade option however Nahimic 3 1.5.2.0 UWP effects are not working or its reporting the device is not upto date.
Solution: Simply run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9079.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe select Uninstall and then after its completed the Uninstall re-run
Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9079.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.

Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.

Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot

Does Realtek Audio Console show the option if not re-install again after running the full uninstaller.

If the issues still persists will need a dxdiag log from you.

oh, seems that i 've found the problem. I didn't choose integrate microphone as default mic in windows.
After changing it works like a charm

@epguy3 I have tried to get my laptop to work with APO 4, which it doesn't work when it comes to the EQ, I managed to get the APO4 drivers installed and sound did work as did Nahimic UWP 1.5.4 however EQ didn't work at all.

But to sum it up, if you can dedicated your personal time to making the mod yourself as for me to make two mods with one for APO3 and then APO4 on top would take even more time that i don't have spare (Between driver mods, Tech support for others not just on here, Router Firmware compiling and testing) it leave very little time for me to relax (Socialize online, gaming etc).

Before you come out with "but you normally spit out drivers quickly", that might seem the case but i also have scripted most of the workload, to add another mod to this workload means either new scripts from scratch or to heavily mod the current scripts.

I have also noticed you seem to be asking some of the Sound driver modders the same question of making another mod as well, as well as pointing them to this mod set to copy from.

Realtek UAD/DCH MSI drivers recently updated to 9084 this Tue Jan. 26 ( UAD MSI RTK) ( UAD MSI Nahimic)

the Realtek UAD Nahimic version for MSI boards seems to have APO3 SWC 3.2.2 with v1.1.43 extension driver as I checked the contents myself

Heads up, Nahimic 3 UWP has an update to 1.5.7, it is safe to update to it.

 

MSI has just updated these Realtek UAD/DCH MSI drivers again - this time to v 6.0.9088.1 (and should download Realtek Audio Console v1.2.240.0 from MS store)

edit - aw crap - MSI packaged the MSI-NahimicRestoreTool- APO4-SWC exe file in the 9088 driver instead of the MSI-NahimicRestoreTool- APO3-SWC exe file

 

Will have a look once my Router firmware compile finishes. As for APO install have version 3 so will test it with newer driver version. Else I have my work cut out to get APO4 to work.

Issue: I have re-installed the driver due to Nahimic 3 Reporting that the device is not compatible, however this only started since Driver pack 9084.1.

Soluion: Check that the Device ID is in the driver in the file called AVoluteNH3Ext.inf located in
C:\Audio\9088.1\Win64\ThirdParty\Extension If it is missing please let me know you Device ID and i will tell you what you need to add into that file, before you can run C:\Audio\9088.1\launch.exe again.

Reason: It would seem due to the Device ID refactoring in the workflow script i use i missed some Device ID's (Main reason for the refactoring as it was getting messy). However any new Device ID's that are MSI system base will be re-added to the workflow ready for next release.

Currently a known one is for the MSI GT72 VR 6RE click HERE for the fix!

I was afraid that MSI would do something like this - update the Realtek audio Nahimic driver package, taking out the Nahimic APO3 driver and putting in the Nahimic APO4 driver instead which only works with recent MSI laptops & boards (esp. newly released MSI Z590 series boards that use Nahimic APO4 instead of APO3)

good thing I saved a copy of the 9084 driver on a usb drive that still had the latest Nahimic APO3 driver before MSI decided to release the 9088 driver several days later

 

Firstly, Thanks for not showing any faith in my Modded Driver pack.

Secondly, The Nahimic APO Driver is version 3.2.2.0 12/08/2020.

Thirdly, Yes there is both NahimicAPO3ConfiguratorDaemonModule.dll and NahimicAPO4ConfiguratorDaemonModule.dll as well as a NahimicPnPAPO4ConfiguratorDaemonModule.dll file in the same directory however i can assure you its APO 3.

I also tested the driver since you gave it me, yes my Server was compiling router firmware which meant i couldn't make the installer but i was still able to test the driver using a copy of the script i had and edited for such an occasion.

Did the driver work on my 6th gen system, Yes does it have a Working EQ yes, is my system MSI well yes.

Is your system an MSI system your using this driver on?? I think not. If i remember correctly its not an MSI system.

But if you think you can do better, then please take over doing the mods, updating scripts making the installer, doing the changelog's, doing all the tech support.

As quite frankly i have more better things to do with my time.

MSI quickly realized this and recently posted another v6.0.9088.1 driver package that does include the Nahimic APO3 driver "restore" file instead of the APO4 driver file (found this other 9088 driver package listed for some B450 Gaming Pro series boards)

Thanks a lot for your work , i have been using this driver for years, as i discovered them... But the last ones "9084" / "9088", I have tried to install them several times and "Nahimic 3" keeps not working.
My laptop is a "MSI GT72 VR 6RE Tobii", "6Gen + GTX1070".
-The message "Nahimic 3 effects are not working or the device is not upto date" shows up and cannot do anything, "Reinstalling" or even pressing "Downgrade option" of those installers.
Version "9079" keeps working good, with effects. Using even "Nahimic 3 1.5.7" / "SWC 3.2.2" / "Companion 1.1.4"... I made a little "frankestein" using the "9088 drivers". But "Codec" one cannot install it, without getting out nahimic effects.

Can you know why is this happening? Thanks for all of your work and time.

 

Are you able to give me a Device ID for your sound card bud, 9084.1 and 9088.1 I redid the Device ID's to try and clean my workflow so I might have accidentally left out some ID's without known about it.

You can use dxdiag if you wish and link it in a DM.

Right i am having a look to see if that ID is in the drivers will get back to you.

Right i have found the file that had the ID missing, so your going to need to manually edit and add a line for now i will have it added for the next release.


So in C:\Audio\9088.1\Win64\ThirdParty\Extension open the file AVoluteNH3Ext.inf and the add this line to the rest of the device id's section.

MSI has recently updated the non-Nahimic (RTK) Realtek audio driver package to v 6.0.9102.1, at least that's what the Station Drivers site said.

man MSI has been doing some Realtek UAD driver updates fairly quickly lately

 

I think that can use this driver because it seems that the driver structure is the same for UAD MSI RTK and UAD MSI Nahimic.
UAD MSI Nahimic only the optional APO Nahimic driver is present.

 

Major Edit: So After being a complete tool and deleting the DevBox VM and its backups.
I have managed to reinstall the OS, tools, driver files, workflow scripts back to the system.

Just doing a few tests before i say its completely back online. However as the other VM which was the router firmware compiler was also wiped it means i will still be unable to do any driver mods till i have that VM back online and a complete firmware compile completed.

The main thing is, i have managed to get 99% back to where it was before the chaos happened on the DevBox, all i lost was the APO4 files which was extracted ready to make another attempt to merge the driver mod to APO4 over APO3.

 

Well after doing all my tests the DevBox VM is 100%, still finishing my main Firmware Compiler VM (Doing its first compile for caching) but i am now back to where i was. Sorry about that folks.

 

For what is worth, the lastest version of the mod that works for me is 9079.1, any newer and Nahimic app does not work, but the Realtek does.

 

Shove me you Device ID bud, I might of missed it during the clean up on the last 2 drivers. As I decided to make it cleaner and an easier workflow but as always mucked it up.

Found your Device ID from one of the DM's we had

Just checked the files and its missing in the AVoluteNH3Ext.inf file

So download the Hotfix 9088.1 then close the installer and head to C:\Audio\9088.1HF\Win64\ThirdParty\Extension folder,
then at the bottom add the following line.

My PSU decided to die so this is where having a dedicated server VM for Modding drivers comes into its prime. Once a new driver is released however i will not be able to test the driver personally so please report any bugs (Yes i can see a Hotfix for a Hotfix coming!)


Update: I am now back online with the GT72 main system thanks to help from NBR members.

 

the folks at Station Drivers recently found a new UAD MSI driver - v6.0.9111.1 (but this package is almost 600Mb in size since it also bundles the bloated Intel HDASST bus driver)

 

Will wait for MSI's release, don't like bloated drivers lol.

MSI has yet to update the Realtek UAD drivers for other recent MSI laptops & MSI desktop boards - still at 9102 or less (and other OEMs like Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Samsung, etc. have already gotten newer Realtek UAD driver versions like 9116 & 9126)

 

MSI did finally release the Realtek v6.0.9111.1 UAD driver package without the bloated Intel HDA SST bus driver around the end of March 2021 - this download is about 50Mb in size.

***Don't panic if the new Laptops/Systems are not in the list they will be supported they are more likely supported, install the drivers and if it works let me know your Model Number and it will get added to the list.***

Install instructions:

- Disconnect from the internet. (Not Required, so very Optional)

- Reboot System and Enter BIOS/UEFI.

- Please DISABLE SECUREBOOT in your BIOS this is now important for this new installer!

- Once you have booted back into the OS Temporarily disable AV software (Some Anti-Virus tools might false report and delete the file!).

- Now run the Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe Installer

- Select either Full Install, Install Without Nahimic, Full Uninstall or Downgrade Nahimic 3.

- Sit back and relax as the UWP's get uninstalled, the driver gets uninstalled and then your system is rebooted into test signing mode and everything is installed and your system is rebooted again!

- Now head back into your BIOS/UEFI and Re-enable SecureBoot!!

- Now let the system boot up fully and re-enable the internet connection. (Only if you disconnected from the internet)



***[IMPORTANT]****
Known possible bugs and fixes:

Issue: Two Nahimic Mirroring device show up in Device Manager:
Solution: run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Uninstall first before using Full Install.

Issue: Nahimic 3 updated via Windows 10 Store and no longer works.
Solution: Head into Windows 10's Store and Select the 3 Dots, followed by Settings and turn of Windows Store's Auto Application Updates,
then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Downgrade Nahimic.

Issue: Ran Nahimic 3 Downgrade option however Nahimic 3 1.5.7.0 UWP effects are not working or its reporting the device is not upto date.
Solution: Simply run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe select Uninstall and then after its completed the Uninstall re-run
Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: Jack Detection not working.
Solution: Simply go to Realtek Audio Console Disable and Re-enable it.

Issue: Microphone not working after using Nahimic Optimizer.
Solution: Click Reset inside Nahimic Settings section will fix this.

Issue: Microsoft Overwritten the installed modded driver.
Solution: Head to Settings → System → About, Now click System info then Select Advance System Settings → Hardware Tab → Driver Installation Settings, now select NO! save and reboot
the system. Then run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: Nahimic 3 reports its device is not compatible basically not working.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: Sound has become muffled/suppressed/distorted.
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Uninstall, after it has rebooted your system re-run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Full Install.

Issue: I don't want the Nahimic 3 Bloatware!
Solution: Run Realtek_UAD_6.0.1.9111.1_MSI_Nahimic_UWP_mod.exe and select Install Without Nahimic
