Taobao is China only, you need an escrow/agent, just search for taobao agent and dozens will pop up, just use of and you can send your order to anywhere in the world.

I think there is an overall limit to the power usage, capped at around 180W that is enforced by the EC and there isn't much to circumvent that.

    Unfortunately, not good!
Everything slows down, frost, high consumption, high clock speeds.
Max-P vbios. That's all it depends on. I need a Max-Q vbios and everything is fine.

I have an i7-4940mx cpu working (4.gen). The 3.gen cpu and motherboard are not the same. Maybe I need a good vbios ...... (don't know)

I am now using a Quadro P5200. I have seen 2 types of Windows10 systems. One recognized it in the device manager. The other saw nothing of it. After I installed the driver the other saw it too. When I removed it the hardware disappeared. I know this is a problem because the dongle needs to be inserted into the driver to install it.
    You should know the dongle.

Maybe you should have a broken motherboard bios, unlokbios.

I asked the seller before buying. He said it would be good for me.
I can email the broken biost. I don't know if that's good for you. If you want and you don't have.

Well eh but from what I read in the forum the GTX 1070 would be the maximum natural upgrade to do in the GT70. I have a 330w power supply, a new battery. Follow the photos of this wonder. It served as a glove in the slot. I also put the photo of the part that is not recognizing. In fact it recognizes it as a generic video adapter. Could it be that just make nvidia inf?

The general video adapter is good. There's the card. I'm not a professional, I just managed the 980m, 1070m and P5200 (which is not completely flawless)

The hardware ID must be entered in the driver. If you can’t do it, I’ll help the next day (Wednesday). I have a lot to do now. Private or email would be nice, not here.

I'm trying to upgrade an MSI GT70 20C gpu for someone. His card died, or at least we're pretty sure the card died, and he purchased a gtx 1060 for it, however we're having issues getting it to recognize the new card....

you must upgrade the bios and EC first. reinstalls windows 10 from scratch and makes nvidia's inf.

In the techinferno forum from Mr. Klem bios modder. Give me an email and I'll send it to you.

Anyway, 100% of the quadro p5200 card already has an internal screen. The clock of the core can also be controlled. Superposition benchmark extreme score 3798. Just interesting. Slightly not very stronger than the gtx 1070m.

Could you possible upload it somewhere and share the link in a PM. I don't believe i can send PM's already, just got registered and approved. I believe PM is disabled for new members, or i'm just overlooking it... :)

Prices on quadro p5200 are crazy. I think i'll go with a 1060m. Should be enough for mild 1080p gaming, withouth being bottlenecked by the powersupply... still around 300€ on aliexpress..

I bought a bare/none working GT70 20C. It came with the single sata port, no drives and 4 giga of ram. Ordered a replacement power button assembly and the msata raid pcb from aliexpress. Currently booting it by shorting the pins on the power button connector.

Up till now i have it running off a 2tb samsung evo ssd, and when the raid adapter gets here, i'll be adding 3 500gig msata drives. Upgraded ram to 32gig kingston hyperX impact 2133 ddr3 (got a good amazon warehouse deal on those). So now i'm looking into getting the cpu and gpu upgraded.

I wonder if a 1070 is really worth it (and the extra cost).
The 1060m seems like a good sweetspot for the GT70. It is power limited, and the shared cooling system isn't the best. So is a 1070m worth the hassle?

I have a gaming pc setup, but rarely use it these days. I'm mostly on my family PC, which is an old lenovo, 3rd gen i5, 16gig ram, and a gtx 1650 mildly OC'ed, and I find that rather adequit for my mild (2020, AAA games) 1080p 60hz gaming needs, so i would like to replicate that same experiance (or better) on this project laptop. Preferrably low budget as possible.

At 1070 the gpu UV will be important .... MSI AB .... the card spun too much for me, there was a lot of boost .... 1860, 1911Mhz already a lot and then he dies. There is a blue and yellow exit.
    Unfortunately, English is weak.
The motherboard does not want to record more than 180W. 180W + battery above about 200W with max max load.

I have a green Chinese 115W 1070m card in the closet.
    The currently used Quadro P5200 150W ..... (1557-1747) consumes a lot.($ 500 ebay)
If there is UV it is stable. Of course with a power limit. Another option is the NV panel for even power consumption and you can go through only 1557Mhz and no boost.

The 1070 is much simpler. I think it's worth using. The ddr3 memory is interesting. I bought it on Ebay in 1866 (cl9) 32GB was very cheap and not real.

    The problem aida ..... photo.
I don't know if the motherboard can handle 1600Mhz over ddr3 module or what I'm using is faulty.
Cyberpunk 2077 is coming on the 10th. I wonder how my machine will perform.....carry all the games pretty well. The 1070 also went very well. The i7-4940mx cpu (4/8) is enough.

The Kingston HyperX Impact 2133MHz works stable on my system. Got a good return / warehouse deal on 2 16GB kits on amazon.de
They only have on new left, but more on backorder. They seem to be still in productions. Both my sets are manufactured in 2020.

The G.Skill ripjaws (F3-2133C11Q-32GRSL) have a bit tighter timings, but nowhere to be found new, and way to expensive on used market. The kingstons seems the way to go.

    Hi!
If all goes well with the GT70 .... I will replace the Nvidia Quadro P5200 card next to the i7-4940mx with an RTX 5000. I already ordered, he's on his way. I will share the result.
