Yeah thats true, but know of any forums entirely for desktops.
Don't get me wrong, I love NBR and all, but the desktop forum just seems dead compared to the rest of the boards, makes sense though!

 

I do a bit of research at hardforum.com. Not that I have a desktop at the moment, but I did most of my monitor research there. It's definitely an active, knowledgeable community from what I've seen.

Not gonna lie, it sure is a beauty.

Got mine also from Newegg. Came dead-pixel free and does not nearly have as loud of a buzzing noise as compared to other users.

 

I'm still waiting for my $50 rebate, but even at "full" price (newegg's is way cheaper than brick and mortar stores) it's a steal. My only real complaint is that the stand is wobbly and tends to droop. Luckily, it can't go too far down, and the viewing angles are fantastic. Mine does buzz if I put it below 98% brightness, but I don't have a problem keeping it at 98 anyways. Definitely worth the money.

 

I agree. The price for a M-PVA panel for under $400 with HDMI and other video inputs is pretty damn good in my book.

I'm still waiting on my $50 MIR too. Probably won't get it until Summer .

 

I'm envious of you guys. I basically have nothing haha. Oh well, it suits me for now.

 

I love how clean your setup is. I like it when mine is clean, but I hate keeping it and especially getting it clean. I'm waaaay too lazy.

I love old crap too, there's smething more interesting for me about older machines, I'm not sure why.

You don't need to pay per month for all of them, if your into anime style cartoonish graphics I would suggest MapleStory, but prepare to grind grind grind!

Doesn't it bother you to have to look up to see anything on the top screen?

 

no cause i use the bottom left. I only time i really use the top one is one someone is standing behind me. Most of the time I just clone it though with the bottom left. I do watch tv on it but my chair leans back i don't sit as close as you think

I like my setup because it looks impressive, but was actually pretty cheap.

Not me But i must say, the day i took my pic (few pages back) my desk was quite tidy for the day

 

I'm gonna have to do some major stuffshifting before I take my camera anywhere near my computer haha, I should also get around to base coating the lid of my laptop, since I bought the paint and all...

 

Haha I didn't Hay, keeping your room clean is a way to keep your stress low less to bug/worry about xD

The main comp streams the media to the apple TV in the bedrooom, and the 1530 in the Living room, HDMI baby!!

Well for the sheer heck of it here is my lack of a setup as I have no room for a desk. xD

 

They are GREAT for home entertainment. I use them for TV/Xbox/Computer/DVD's. No complaints from me.
