We just got the Samsung 46" 550 1080P too and it is a great TV. It makes the 32 inch Samsung I have in my room look sad. That's quite a nice birthday present, you are a lucky guy!

Thanks, but I'm scared as to what my wife wants for her birthday...

I know it has the initials L.V. :( so yeah, she will get her purse...

I just don't understand why women want a new purse all the time, I just got her a new purse last yr. & it's not like I want a new TV every yr :D

Apparently they need a purse for different outfits. At least that's how my ex-gf explained it to me every time she got a new one.

pixelot, okay i got your meaning now. the "theme". i don't use that pc for anything but gaming so i really don't care what theme it is. i don't have any programs for any type of documentation word, office, excel etc to care what the windows look like. i am gaming or yacking on a forum. but i did look at the royale and it is sweet so i put that site in my favorites ! thanks

    K-TRON,

lol yeah i have a bunch in a bag too that i have not used. i spent considerable time e-mailing all the mfg's of pc components and requesting badges or stickers to share with my gaming clan pals and 99% were very happy to send stuff out to me. nvidia i am still working on though as they are huge and it's tough to find the right person to help me get what i want.

that is a 2003 candy cardinal red kawasaki concours i purchased in 06. i wasn't quite ready for a full blown touring aka goldwing just yet and this was the best bang for my buck. my wife and daughter drove with me from michigan to north carolina and i rode it home the next day. trial by fire on a new bike. my damn hands had numbness for months after. i farkled it up a bit with handlebar risers and music and better foot pegs so my long legs have a bit more room. while i still get a bit of numbness after long trips i don't suffer like i did on my first ride and i installed electronic cruise control too.!!

    New monitor, laptop, layout...

The monitor is a Dell E248WFP with Ultrasharp 1907FP-s adjustable stand, which is tenfold better than one which came with it in the first place.

I love that case. I built a PC in one a while ago.. I put blue fans in the front and back, and two green ones in the side... it made the most awesome lighting effect I have ever seen

    No, had a 20" Samsung 206BW.
With the standard stand, there isn't practically any adjustment and the monitor sits too low. Besides that, I think its a great monitor: blacks are black, no ghosting and 1920x1200 rez, which demands a powerful (8800+) graphics card if you want to game.

You could use a special 3d lens or even smarter... smart SD cards that will do that for you on your camera regardless of make.. just take 3 pics or more(must sort of align) and bang... they are costly ... i know ive stepped on 2

LoL, i cant even bring myself to clean off my entire desktop, ill tidy it up a little bit, and then by the middle of the week if not sooner, its back to its original state if not worse!!!

its a little better when school is out but its still messy! wheres all your guys' 'stuff at?' (some of you i can tell, cuz its in the same place as all mine!!)

(On page 24) oh yeah and on that pic with the guy who has all the guns and the rpg and minigun and what not, and someone commented on a $1,000 chair he had; remember that one?

im not saying their ALL real firearms but it is a substantial possibility that they are (with the right permits) because all it takes to own that kind of firepower in the states is money and licenses (oh and the willingness to allow the government into your home when ever they feel the need to rifle through your Sh!t!)

my personal opinion is they are fake, because some one with that kind of weaponry, would not have it by their computer equipment, and some of those look like they are perminitly attached to the wall, unless of course they where trying to take the reigns of the governments nuclear weapons placements on their computer!

just a few thoughts of mine ( took me 4 days to get through this whole thread)

    NICE set ups guys/gals

ok i admit i don't have a setup to post as of now. Maybe in the near future when i actually upgrade my desk.

and its kinda funny how this thread has a posting frenzy, and no one posts, then all of a sudden everyone starts posting. so dramatic :p

Here are both of my setups. One was when I had my 42" in the room for a bit and the other one is without. As you can see I like having a very minimalistic desk since it helps me focus more. I would take a another picture of the completely cleared off desk but I'm too lazy lol.

Updated my workstation. I'm a college student, I put all of my money into my PC and gizmo's so I can't afford the real Ikea brand, here is my home-made Jerker. :) I used about $40 worth of shelving that I bought at target. I also invested in some new speaker stands to go along with the 6.1 Insignia/JBL setup. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

That's a pretty awesome setup. I like how you innovated with the Metro shelving. I have an extra Metro unit I may try something like that.
