I am liking the cinderblocks![]()
It is a very cheap and effective stand. It actually looks pretty good with your setup![]()

foo_ball76, where did you buy that "PUB OPEN" sign? That is real cool.
Great setup too. It looks neat and tidy as well. -
Here are some pics of my previous when I had my Powerbook.
-
i am currently building a shed for all my computer and gaming gear,
i will post photos asap
it will be the best ever!!!! -
-
foo_ball76 - Like the setup a lot, very clean and tidy. What is the sound like from that lounge chair? It seems like you have too many speakers for that small room as they are very close together and very close to your seating position.
-
I since added a USB harddrive and laptop cooling pad but that's pretty much the situation
Might move everything to our cavernous basement since it's just too hot up here during summer.. -
My theory: More speakers = Better -

Hey u guys got some sweet looking set up, I have been browsing from the very first page to this one.
Heres is mine atm is a very basic setup, you guys inspired to do something about it so right about now I am just starting to clean up
-
Nice setup, I've always wanted a pair of those Sammy monitors. (but I can't afford them...)
-
mines changed a bit so here you go
here is my desk....
and here is all the network attached stuff...
constructive critique appreciated -
mattireland It used to be the iLand..
Nice
I've got the same Dell desktop case as you for all my water cooling stuff in a different room.
I really must tidy everything up a lot and then get some pics of here on the internet.
I like the satalite speakers too and both the printers are pretty snazzy. What subject do you do? -
bachelor of pharmacy... cant you tell by my books and folders LOL
the network stuff is in my dads room since i dont have a phone outlet in mine... -
mattireland It used to be the iLand..

Click for full size, if you really care to see the atrocities that my camera produces
I can't remember if I posted in this thread or not, but figured what the hell, might as well.
Asus G1S feeding a Harmon Kardon AVR-146 via toslink. Output to Polk RTi4's.
Music selection is almost entirely FLAC, with no subwoofer so that I can actually hear the highs
Excuse the wiring, I'm getting rid of the laptop in a week or so, and I don't feel like cleaning up the wires, just to rip them all out. Laptop just doesn't have the power needed to encode all of my stuff. Oh well, only $1900 down the hole. -

The way you have the console/PC with desk and lounge chair set up in your bedroom makes me want to get a PS3 and a lounge chair for mine dammit!
More ways to justify spending money.... -
here is mine few months ago, will post new shots later on, still no XPS then

Nice setup! Like the camera as well
I like the G15
I love that monitor hanging on the wall as well -
Lol, 4 optical drives really needed in a single machine?
-
-
Nice rig nekrosoft,
I like the look of lots of optical drives. My favorite is the coolermaster case. The bottom cd drive, is the Pioneer A09-XL, I have the same one, I think its the best dvd drive ever made. I dropped that thing about 5 feet, while burning a disc, and the drive still works fine. It was the best Dvd drive I ever purchased. Unfortunately the drive was like $130, but it was the only one which withstanded the drop test.
Nice sound system, have the same logitech z5500.
You would probably get a better sound experience if you separated the speakers a little more, but I dont know the confines of the room.

Just out of interest K-TRON, how did you drop a DVD drive 5 feet while it had power and was burning a disk?
-
Well, I was burning a DVD, because the burner in my system refused to work, I ran the IDE cable out of the side of the case, and up to the dvd drive sitting ontop of the case. While I was burning the DVD, my brother decided that putting the computer on the other side of the monitor would look better. Well in the process of moving teh system, the dvd burner unplugged, and fell about 5 ft to the ground. The system was ontop of a table about 3 ft tall, and the case was about 24" tall, so the drive fell. Luckily the drive still works, and still does to this day. The durability and quality of that drive is the reason I only by Pioneer optical drives now.

Here is my new setup. Just moved into a new apartment, so the walls still need painted and this carpet has to go. But I finally got all my stuff setup in the mean time.
Sorry about the size mixes, not sure why Photobucket did that.
I have the Laptop w/ Base Station and Desktop both connected to the Z-5500's and monitor via DVI KVM.
-
mattireland It used to be the iLand..
sounds like a fun experience
@WSFrazier: Nice! That carpet is hideous though if you don't mind me saying. -
Yeah, like I said. It's a new apartment, and I just wanted my stuff setup.
Paint on the walls and new carpet will be going in very soon. -
Here's my man cave. I'm too lazy to take multiple photos from different angles. Here's the widest angle I could muster. It'll look much better if Dell would ever deliver the XPS M1530 I'm waiting for.
-
Is it me or is there about to be a stack of papers falling on your main monitor.
-
No man. Those are rock solid. Bills I guess. Probably should sort through them someday, or at least the ones from lawyers anyway. -
ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
There's nothing sexier than having Elisha Cuthbert on your monitor.

What kind of speakers are those, I really like the design of those speakers. -

Anyway, is there any reason you've got that pump hanging on a board outside your case? More importantly, why is that pump the highest point in your water loop? Also, I can't quite tell, but it looks like there is at least one kink in your tubing, between the reservoir and the pump. Just thought I'd let you know. If you're looking for a way to avoid kinks and you have either 1/2" or 5/8" OD tubing, swiftech's coolsleeves are a nice option. I used them for my water loop, and they work quite nicely. -

Does the Edifier E3100 produce good bass & sound ? -
