This is my room (I have just exchanged the white macbook for a macbook pro)

I totally still have those same speakers you have. I thought I was the only one.

If those are Creative SBS250 speakers, then I too have the same speakers. They work pretty good for a regular old set of speakers. Definately not as good sounding as my component stereo though.

 

Heh heh. Yeah, those are the Creative ones. I've had those things forever. They work and sound great, though. I've thought about replacing them recently, since it's pretty much the only computer component I haven't.

 

Just added a few midnight shots as attachments to show off all the blue and blacklight.

 

Clearly the neatest set up in this thread.

 

I once had a computer that was built onto a piece of plywood.

 

That Monitor look a lot like one of those Old school dumb terminals from back in the day with the green display

 

My HP laptop. Still going strong after 1 year! Next laptop would probably be a ThinkPad or a Voodoo. I'm starting to not like curves on a laptop.

from experience with Voodoo, dont buy from them.
Get a Lenovo instead trust me.

Took me a while to piece it all together, just need to tidy up the cables

Everything runs off the lappie, big screen is brill for HD movies off the harddrive.

Hmmm i'd like larger speakers but space I don't have, although there is a powered subwoofer the size of a small fridge squeezed behind the desk (my neighbours hate me... )

It's great to see what others have as their systems, some really nice ones in this thread

My legit desk: (Laptop coming in like 3 weeks) 32 Vizio for Tv. (360 below) and 22 Westinghouse Monitor..



This is how i play Crysis / CoD4 @ 1680x1050 Max settings... on a Radeon X1950 Pro. (Normally, it's facing directly into my case)

 

i have the same router, for at least 2 years i think

and that is one hell of a cooling system chef, you may need a bigger fan though

 

You can't increase the actual fan speed on any of the fans in my case. I've tried everything. Plus, the extremely loud fan i have going on when gaming, is drowned out by the game volume and music. So it works.. Lol..

 

It works not really effectively because the air vent of the macbook pro is on the back, not underneath like other laptops, but the angle is ok

 

That's a clean setup! My desk is a mess right now lol I'll post a pic once I get it cleaned up.

What configuration did you get for your studio? I just got mine monday and i like it a lot.

Thanks! I like it very much! I like clean lines! Klimt is a an awesome Artist I have a few of his pieces! That's The Kiss...I have it in my bedroom too, different framing/matting!

thanks taken a few years to save up exactly how I want everything, and still not quite there yet! Also looking at that pic, I really have to do something with all those wires!! Didn't realise they were so bad. Nice set up there Cin too, reminds me of our living room a bit actually

Hey Nox..what else do you want to do with your set-up? And yeah *wires* ....I had several hanging and it looked like a huge *spiderweb*!!

I didn't want to use any plastic tubing, plastic locking ties, or anything like that..so I simply took a silk type *scarf* of mine and wrapped it around the cords tightly! It actually turned out alright LOL
