Yeah, I love it... except in the morning from ~8:00am-9:30am due to the sun coming through the window... makes it near impossible to see the screen. Otherwise I really like the setup.

    Thanks you guys

Hardly... still a student actually. The table we purchased in Oregon when my wife and I were moving from California to Washinton. We stopped at a mall for a break and a furniture store was going out of business. Got the desk and a matching table (not in the room due to the size) for $200.00... whole thing is solid wood, so I just got REALLY lucky that day.

@anthonylei: how do you like the 3 monitor setup?
Do you fell annoying of looking at 3 different monitor. Color of each monitor are different. I even can't handle 2 monitors.

I love triple monitor set up.... no longer have to switch between windows, even tried 4 monitors which is a bit too much (cant find the mouse sometimes)

The colour difference is very little if you configure it (looks much better from my seat than the photo, the secondary monitors are TN panel based)

Originaly, I wasn't too happy with it when i had it finished, then, i sat on the top, and moved around a bit, and it was very sturdy, then i did the same with the middle and same results, so i figured if it could handle my fat arse, handling the computers would be a breeze for it.

Yea, like to see how clean it is after my kids get done with it hehehehehe

What I said: *I think I can only do 2 at most....I have 2 dualing monitors at work...and how our system is based...it's still kind of confusing.*

I wasn't asking anything. I was commenting that I can only do 2 monitors at most right now (we have dualing monitors at work) ~ based on your statement above about using several monitors, and how your set up.

That's all no biggie. No question was really asked. So yah, anyways.

    This is my current setup:

Custom gaming computer (off screen and old, specs are semi embarsssing :D )
    GIANT crt 19in
DV7T (soon to be replaced by a Sager NP5793)
My semi custom phillips huge speaker system. I replaced the speakers with newer/better sounding pioneers. I don't have surround sound, but I'm an audiophile. Just trust me that it sounds good anyways.
I have an HP 500GB external sitting on top of the stereo. That moves a lot though.

I've been meaning to get a KVM, but just pulling out the tray works. I generally just have video or something going on the CRT anyways. On occasion I play some of my games on it. I need to get around to upgrading. IT actually just needs a new mobo and cpu. Other than that it's decent.

Yeah...You should see the old school server case that's about to replace my current falling apart one. It's got better airflow and a more hdd racks. I'm gonna swap in some drives I've got sitting around for a mega beast computer. I'm looking at putting a quad in it and using it as my little server. I also have a 15in monitor lying around that may find it's way in there somehow. I'm just ridiculous, I know.

p.s. I've fixed that razr twice now (once just today) I LOVE that mouse. I think I'm keeping it foreevr.

There's my setup. 2 Panasonic speakers paired with 2 Polk audio speakers from a surround sound system powered from a 15 or 20 year old Kenwood reciever.

None of the audio equipment cost me a penny, it was all hand me down's. Upgraded the AV system in our living room, so I got the Polks (from the new sound system, we had 2 awesome Kenwood speakers already) and the Kenwood reciever. Speakers are from my sister, they were too big. lol.

Then there's my E6400, iPod Touch, Logitech LX7 mouse, and Microsoft keyboard. I managed to find an 8 year old Dell mousepad, lol.

The ultimate plan is a nice 1080p monitor and dock for the E6400.

It's nice to see that someone else uses old, "outdated" stereo equipment for computer audio. I have a stereo receiver that's probably from the late 70's to early 80's that I use for a portion of my desktop's audio. However, it also has a graphic equalizer hooked up to it which is what the computer is hooked up to.

As far as stereos go, not much has happened for a while. I went from the crappy amp that came with the Panasonic speakers (only 4 years old or so) to the Kenwood amp and the difference was amazing. Then I added the Polks and I doubt you can get much better out of a free sound system.

I do need to fiddle with the wire though. The reciever doesn't like anything smaller than 12 gauge wire, so the connections aren't great.

No equalizer for me, just a couple of Y-cables for my iPod and laptop.

One thing I've always liked about the old amps is that the volume dial actually rotates when you change the volume with the remote. lol.

I love my fatty 12 gauge. Why use anything smaller?

You should see what I used for a while. I had a surround sound setup AND a stereo. I had the stereo pushing the left right for more front volume. I'm thinking of either hooking up one of my small mixers to setup a surround system or at the very least getting a 16 band eq. Toys don't have to be new to be fun.

My desktop is a very old P4 3.2 "Northwood". I only use it for downloading and watching videos.

Yes, that is Top Gear playing on my desktop and laptop. I was trying to configure my LCD colour so it would be same as my Sony laptop, but not successful.

Oh the TZ screen is the brightest out of all the VAIO. I think someone Sony make it 1 level brighter than my SZ.

Soon my desktop will be complete replace by my SZ after my hard drive upgrade.
