170EM has a Display Port, DVI Port, and HDMI Port. You can run two monitors I believe. Either the internal and one external, or two external..

Some very inspiring set ups out there. I am just in the processing of building my man-cave in the basement. Will post some pictures when it's completed.

This is my home office. I recently bought the external monitor and cooling stand. I love my dual monitor setup even though it's not as clean as two matching monitors.

Got my other monitor.. Now just need to find an elegant way to have them that height!

Yay for Portal 2.
I just started to play the community made maps for co-op. Has brought a new life to a short lived game (took me all of a few days to beat single player and co-op and get every achievement)

Cable management is tough. I see you have everything pulled taught, which helps a lot. Have you looked for cable trays that you run along the back of your desk? -
Anyway, I have them at desk height now, just tilted to eye level, the bezel and what-not doesn't match up, but it works. Considering the other monitor is only for Outlook, Twitter, Skype, Explorer and only little programs it doesn't really matter. -

I'll take the pistol....

silly. there's always a USP sitting around the house, within reachable distance.

Thanks Kenny...some of the equipment I've had for the past 10 years including the stuff in the bedroom. The only new items I bought over two years ago was the Receiver, BD player and speakers. One thing I love about Onkyo it seems to last forever.

Onkye... I've heard that name. If I ever gonna build a audio system I should see what they've got. -

"It's going to be handheld... so be forgiving"awesome comment!
Anyways, I've taken my time... approximately 5 - 6 hours of intensive reading through out this thread and seen a LOT of gaming rigs.. so behold my ladies and gentlemen.. my setup 2 years ago.
going to post here ASAP
P.S. There sure are a lot of XPS, Alienware machines here... -
Well, after reading this thread for awhile, I decided to post my setup.
That is my Vostro 3450, hooked up to a 22" ASUS 1080p monitor. It does triple duty, with my PS3, and desktop, which you'll see in the next picture. The eGPU I made is sitting in the window. I have a set of Logitech speakers there, which sit up when the laptop isn't there. There's also a subwoofer underneath. I have a Turtle Beach headset in my desk drawer. There's also a crappy 10 year old printer.
Under my desk, is a mess of cables, the subwoofer, and my desktop, which you can barely see. All my games are on the shelf, and theres a bunch of cables. flash drives and SD cards in the container.
This is just a better front on shot, with the R.A.T. 7 and a generic Alienware keyboard.
I need a bigger desk... Hoping to fund dual monitors and a new desktop soon. -
Where's the M11x at?
-
Elsewhere...
It travels, really. That is a terrible representaion of it. It is often times hooked up to the 47" in the family room, or on that monitor. When there, it is usually used for music, since that room is central and has surround sound. -
-
Well... if we're showing off I've got a large TV screen too but this isn't really what we are here for.. felt it was quite odd people showed their whole room, but hey its up to them..
