Just moved into a new place.

 

Nice speaker stands.

 

Finally got the chance to clean my room and especially my "desk". Stereo and TV setups included as bonus. Spoiler for giant pics.

What did you take the pictures with?

 

Here is mine - Acer 3820TG (i5 480m, AMD 6550m) + Samsung 22'' BX2231 + Trust mouse.
This setup is very comfortable to me, both monitors have very similiar pixel density.

Well, I don't know if you were referring to my pictures or not, but I took them with a Kodak EasyShare C633.

I see Domo was looking at my pictures.

 

Is there a reason the pictures are blurry and have so much noise?

 

The lens was dirty and poor lighting. The camera is also pretty old too. Honestly, my iPhone takes better pictures. I did retake the first picture though with different lighting and after cleaning the lens. It's still rather noisy, but far less blurry.

thanks. they're all midi controllers. the m-audio on the left has a very basic 2-channel mixer layout for simple mixing. the midifighter (the one with the pretty colored arcade buttons) is made by ean golden's company, dj tech tools, who offers pretty nifty support/mapping for fx control in native instrument's dj software, traktor. the akai keyboard controller is used with ableton on the production side of things. and the akai pad controller sitting in front of the blue keyboard is, well--pretty useless.

 

Reorganized a few things, namely replacing the GearHead keyboard with a Logitech K120 (* much* better and only a few dollars more) and I think I'll give the Sony headphones another chance at being decent before I replace them.





Some dorm-desk cable management. Love that they've provided a hole in the desk for that.



Found a neat little trick for the TV to balance on the metal bar across the bed. Will not tip, even when bouncing on the bed ...

 

When I saw the canada dry I got all excited and thought of cheerwine and then got sad when I found out the truth.

Yeah I bet. Too bad I have no need for an actual system other then my tv in the living room. Otherwise I would get one.

thanks. We build buildings for our main business, so we made sure ours was nice and a show piece for what people can have for not a major outlay of money. When I get some artwork, i will take more photos..

 

Freakin me out with that.. My tv is on a proper stand and I don't even like when people look at it funny I wouldn't be able to sleep with that there lol.

Anyway my work just moved to our new office space about 2 weeks ago, and we are all getting settled into our offices. I don't have anything on the walls yet.
I'm still working out how I like things as such

But here is how things are going with my own office right now.

 

Slept perfectly fine with it after forgetting to set it back down on the desk. *shrug*

Some slight modifications. Removed the 19-inch Sansui TV and replaced with a 15-inch iMac. Brought back Roland MA-8 speakers and replaced 32-inch Sony WEGA Trinitron with 26-inch Philips Wide CRT. My Technics receiver has also been replaced with a Sherwood amplifier. Once again, spoiler for giant pics.

You must be talking about the first picture as the second one is completely different now.

My main job is with the US Air Force, been in for 18 years so the money isn't that bad and plus I do photography on the side to earn extra income.

I'm just glad I don't have to climb up/down a loft like I did last year.

I need to learn how to make my bed every day though. Looks completely trashed lol.

 

here is my college room setup, Still need to manage my cables, irritates me to see them just hanging there. And yes i am using a piece of paper as a mouse pad for now, while i wait for my actual mouse pad to come in.

Minor changes. I went from having the monitor wall mounted to using its stand. I also spruced up the shelf above my desk and made it more of a display area for tech and tech related items. As usual, spoiler for big picture.
