Very correct. To tell you the truth. The premium for the 9650m GT is to give Zepto users the advantage of the 9650m GT. Its only fair to our main customers  Its only a 65nm vs 55nm difference.

The cards have their own VBIOS that you can flash.
It is the same card as the one NightWalker flashed and upgraded for his Asus C90S.

Shipping with tracking is free. Shipping with tracking and insurance is $20.
Let us work out this Paypal thing first as we don't want to pay Paypal for their exhorbitant exchange rates

Apologies as our payment system seems to be pegging the US dollar at some kind of rate we cannot change. We've just added US dollars to the shopping cart and it shows around 314USD. As you know the US dollar fluctuates quite often nowadays but 314 will include the shipping and PayPal charges. Merchants always charge 3% extra when credit card is used because cash or bank transfer is still the most used. So for the purchase of the card we will absorb the PayPal fees and you must select the Paypal checkout that says USD.

No, I didn't get it to work. It fit in the slot ok and I had to modify the heatsink with a Dremel a little bit. My FL92 booted up and I heard the Vista jingle, but I had no display. I didn't try a blind flash that was suggested, instead I put the 8600M GT back in. Another bit of information I got was I may have needed a new system bios that would reconize the 9600M Gt with GDDR3 memory. But I never persued that.

    Hi all !!!

I have the same problem like Jernkar. My laptop: "Gericom 1st supersonic pcie"
    chipset intel915, 2gb ram, pentium m 2,26ghz (motherboard: Quanta KN1), geforce go 6600
I bought 9600gt 512mb ddr3 on ebay but I recveived wrong card 9600gs 256mb ddr3. When I puted 9600gs into laptop on the screen I got message: "engineering release not for production" and "MXM structure not found or invalid. Reflash MXM rom or add mxm structure and associated callbacks to SBIOS! POST will be halted for 30 second and performance will be limited to balanced performance mode until it is resolved"
    http://img61.imageshack.us/my.php?image=post256kd5.jpg
After 30 sec. windows started and everything was ok (a lot of heat from card) in 3dmark03 i got 8k points.
I sent card back and got new one 9600gt 512mb ddr3 (probably because I can't see nothing on the screen). After 30 sec windows loading I can hear sounds but still black screen. I did copy of my bios and did blind flash with bios from forum even with bios from 9600gs - still nothing. Any ideas???

P.S. I know for sure that my laptop works properly with 8600gt

Compal never responded to my emails. I think it was MVKTech that said I would need a system bios that would support the new card.

Yes system bios upgrade probably fix this problem, but it is strange that 9600gs was working and 9600gt not - the same chips (just clocked higher), the same memory

If the bios from link on forum was Acer I did but seller said that card has acer bios. I did copy of my oryginal bios and when I want to edit it in nibitor it is not recognized and I have to choose what family is (geforce 7/8... I can't choose 9 series)

I think that command for blind flash doesn't work properly (maybe I should push something on keyboard), because after flashing I did copy of bios again and it's still my oryginal bios. Bios from Your link is recognized by nibitor mine not.

I decided to connect my old vga monitor today and...after about 30second of darkness I saw POST from system bios (press F2 to enter setup....etc) and windows loaded normally. I installed drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com ver.181.00 because the newest 185.20 restarted my laptop permanently. Then in nvidia control panel I chose clone mode for both screens and I got picture on my lcd panel and vga montor. Gpu-z said:Nvidia Quadro FX 770M 512MB GDDR3 :).

This is half way but now it started to work it's better than nothing. I didn't test it to much but in 3dmark03 got only 8060 points.

    Good things:

    - even when you unplug external monitor it works with internal

    Bad things:

    - everytime when you turn on or restart laptop you must wait about 30s to start to load system

    - You can't still see nothing in the dos mode (only on external monitor) so if you want flash your card you must always plug external monitor

    - everytime when you want to install new drivers for your card or reinstall system (whatever windows, linux) must plug external monitor

    - and the worst (maybe only with my laptop) card cannot switch to full speed in 3d mode (my clocks are: core:275MHZ memory:300MHZ from gpu-z)
It seems to be easy to fix it (see this http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=316079) but nibitor 4.7 doesnt recognize Quadro FX 770m yet- I sent my bios to them

But even with these low clocks Tomb raider undrworld works pretty (texture high, res 800x600, 2xAA, shadows, 2x anisotropic), much better than on my old 6600 with lower settings. On 6600 I had to wait few minutes to load save, now is quick just few second.

Do you think that seller tried to biosmod 9600gt>quadroFX770m? And when he couldn't see nothing on the screen after flashing just sent it to me? Hmmm, it is possible because everything seem to be ok windows starts so card is ok just my laptop is wrong for this card he he (no payback because of incompatibility :)
Ayle do you know if I could change bioses between Quadro FX770M and 9600GT (the same family, all parameters are the same) like between Quadro FX2500 and 7900gtx?

Here is a screenshot of gpu-z and 3dmark06:

Shouldnt be a problem but I have troubles finding 9600m gt bios. So far I only managed to get one from a working card. I can upload it somewhere if you want. I can't test it since I don't have my 9600m yet. I attached the only one that I've obtained so far.

I flashed it with attached bios with no succes, was worst than before. Windows still is loading in the background but now I didn't have screen on both monitors (external and internal) - so blind flash and I got back to beginning :( I think I must wait for new version of nibitor to edit QuadroFX770M bios because 9600mGT don't work (maybe others, as long as I have copy of my oryginal bios I can try flash card)

Just to respond cause logic doesn't come easy somehow, why do you think that with support for the Quadro FX 770M in NiBiTor it will make a difference? With that BIOS it gives a blank screen and you see nothing, with another GeForce 9600M GT it doesn't change, so when did you think you got a card that will ever work? I am just saying it outloud, cause you don't know what the issue is really, it can be your laptop main BIOS not supporting the GeForce 9600M GT, yes that is possible even though a GeForce 9600M GS did work. You bought on eBay and it doesn't work, now with MXM modules you can have that and either it is a bad module or your laptop doesn't like, that are also other possibilities. And for all the rest of the discussion you will need to check our website...

    Dear Ayle,

I have a IFL90 notebook and I recently bought an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 card to upgrade the standard 512MB GDDR2 8600M GT. The card is proparly installed, doesn’t get too hot. HWMonitor v1.1.2.0 shows GPU Core is Idle 47-49C.
The problem I have is that I can get no picture in 3D mode and I can’t run any 3D benchmark program. Only runs 3DMark2001 SE Pro – Build 330.
I was able to install modded Catalyst 8.10 / XP drivers and they allow me to get desktop and video image in XP.
So, I play movies, browse the internet, use standard 2D programs. But the moment I try to run anything that requieres 3D it's all problems. Before the game or 3D application (like 3D benchmark) starts up, the screen either locks up and the program no response.
I've bought this card via ebaY from the seller (sean2008168) 256MB GDDR3 with green PCB board.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170279943375&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
Clocks were skewed and it wouldnt run winsat properly or any 3d apps. Can you please post your ATI HD3650 vBios dump file here for the test my IFL90? I'm looking for one with a ATI subvendor ID. Mine came with a HP one and clocks are wrong in it. Radeon Bios Editor shows it is an HP Bios and ATOMBIOSBK-ATI VER010.088.000.005.028825. I've heard HD3650 has many versions. Maybe problem is here really I don't know. I've attached my HD3650 vBios dump file if you want to interest.

    Thanks for answer.

What do you think to put my bios into your card (make a copy of your oryginal bios before you do that) and try to connect external monitor, maybe it will work. I think so because my card with bios from 9600gt works like yours - no picture on both monitors. In autoexec.bat you must put command:
nvflash -4 -5 -6 name of your bios file
name of file cannot be longer than 8 letters plus 3 letters for extension eg. FX770M.rom
than push Y 4 times and wait about minute than restart lap

If you want to avoid having to press Y just use:
    Code:
    nvflash -4 -5 -6 -a -y file.rom
Anybody want to trade his 9600m for my hd3650?

I don't know in what thread to ask but cleaning my ifl90 cooler i found another plug for something just like for wireless card, I don't know how to tell ya but the socket was not big. Can I plug something in that place? Looks like another wireless card will fit there (that's just example) :) just a bit upper..

I tried to explain with a picture (from google)

That's the mini pci express port. There is another one under the cover with the power button. You can fit a tv tuner, another wlan card, turbo memory, a ssd, etc, etc...

    WORKS, Works, works!!!!!!!!

Guys from Mvktech sent me modified bios from my card with right clocks (the same for throttle and 3d mode, core:500mhz, shaders 1250mhz, memory:800mhz).I thought that is the end of my problems, but...what I got after flashing card? Look:

I felt completely disheartened. What can I do more I asked myself. One more time I took a risk and decided to use Nibitor 4.8 which still doesn't support Quadro FX770M to edit bios by myself. When I puted modified bios into Nibitor and follow after NightWalker solution http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=316079 I noticed that in menu "Performance table entries" each values are still different, hmmm than I took oryginal bios and followed step by step NightWalker. I felt strange when after copying values and pushing button "applay" 4th value changed but entry2 and 3 were the same. So I saved bios flashed card again and now card works perfectly in 3d mode with full speed and in stress only about 70 degrees C

    THE END

Also, what kind of fps do you get in graphically intensive games live crysis?

    Nice work brother ;)

Yes I will do this guide but it takes me some time. And maybe better to buy new laptop then Quadro card now is very expensive http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...ksid=p3907.m29&_trkparms=algo=LVI&its=I&otn=2. I don't know if my lap works with 9600GT it would be better choice. What about performance?
I think it is the same as 9600m GT almost the same core. My laptop has weak processor only one core Pentium M 1.7Ghz @ 2.26Ghz (wire mod), but scores are not too bad:
    3dmark03: 15101
3dmark06: 4440 see screen shot on my previous post.
I have demo of Crysis and can play on medium details 1024x768 smoothly look nice.
Tomb Raider Underworld 1024x768, 2xAA, 4Xanisotropic, texture high, everything on, vsunc off works well
