Keyboard lighting controls are broken for me rn, changing the lightning effect crashes the GUI, I think it only effects GK7CN6S laptops though.

Those things are cool, I looked into getting one for my system, but it’s really not necessary if you already have an SSD for a boot drive. It is designed to make HDD’s run faster, and has to be used on a boot drive to my knowledge. You could theoretically clone your SSD to the HDD then expand the partition, using the HDD as a boot drive instead, but I don’t really think you are gaining much unless you just have to have that extra 1TB for games. And btw, games run fine usually from an HDD.

Maybe I missed your intent here, but those were my first thoughts. I am assuming you have the Walmart OP computer which includes the 256GB (SATA?) SSD.

did you install it? I just got one and found out there's supposed to be an option on BIOS for optane, said option is not there in this thing.

There is an Intel driver update that includes management of the Optane drive. I believe once it is installed the Optane update cannot be uninstalled. At least that is what I remember reading when I updated the driver.

I have the latest drivers for everything. I read that the bios also need s update and must show an option to select optane accelerated storage where you select raid or ahci. but what can you do bios support is non-existent with this thing. Hence 75$ down the drain.

I do get your point. but optane can also be used to speed up your secondary drive, that is my game drive. loading times are ssd like. I play 2-3 titles regularly and will be very handy for me.

If you are going to use ThrottleStop, you need to set it up correctly. The RwDrv.sys file needs to be downloaded and installed in your ThrottleStop directory and this option needs to be checked.

The screenshot you posted shows that ApplePi did not do this. That is why he is having power limit throttling issues. @Installed64 is hitting 1300+ in Cinebench. His laptop runs full speed through the entire Cinebench run with zero throttling. That is how it should be.

Intel CPUs use multiple power limits. Intel XTU adjusts the primary and secondary power limits together at the same time. The ThrottleStop - TPL window only allows you to adjust the primary power limits. For the secondary power limits, I thought it would be best to simply lock and disable them. This helps prevent other software or drivers on your computer from changing these limits without your knowledge. Locking and disabling them also saves CPU cycles since they do not need to be constantly monitored for any changes. There is a reason why most of the top performing laptops in this thread are using ThrottleStop over XTU. It is way more efficient.

If you want to create a battery profile in ThrottleStop with a lower power limit, try reducing the IccMax variable. Less current going into your CPU will result in less power consumption. Reducing IccMax accomplishes the same thing as reducing the power limit.

I do not own an 8750H so you will have to do some hands on testing. Run something simple like maybe 4 or 8 threads of the built in TS Bench test. Set it to 1024M for a nice long test. While the test is running, adjust IccMax lower and watch what happens to your CPU speed and power consumption. This should allow you to approximately determine some IccMax values that are suitable for your CPU. Do your testing when plugged in on AC power. If you need any more help, head over to the ThrottleStop thread in my signature so this thread does not get hijacked.

The current vBIOS on the GTX 1060 will not allow Voltages, power limit to show up regardless of changing the card type (ref, msi, etc). You can try to attempt to bypass Power limit using these ways:
Shunt modding (won't list a guide, look it up at your own risk)
TDP Tweaker (Pascal only, at your own risk) http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/mobile-pascal-tdp-tweaker-update-and-feedback-thread.806161/this
vBIOS Mod (if you don't know how to do this, don't try this)

Is there a source yet for replacement keyboards? I have the 15.6" with the blue switches. I've heard some there's a keyboard for this chassis with brown switches that I'd like to replace it with.

There is an option in settings to enable throttlestop compatibility mode (click on the gear icon on the top left )

I did several benchmarks and stability test and all were okay, but haven't tried any game. I'll do some test today

Nice work, love this ui and function!

1.50, 1.52, 1.6 would like to state that I have WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR bluescreen at every startup.
    RAM 5h test: OK
    CPU: OK
    BIOS 1.09 - EC 1.37.09 XMG

160W charger can be a weak link, but there is no problem with but 2.0 gamecanter, I can't think of anything else.Could it be a RevCenter version without OC? :)
(I do not know how much can be solved, how much extra work to do)

That's strange because I'm using the same bios. Okay, so in next version I will add the option to choose between version with and without OC. I'm also thinking to develop a Fan Control Center for who is just interested in a better fan control.
I have also released the 1.65 version with the Keyboard crash fix

Hello ! I have version with RTX 2060 and your software doesn't work for me. With "offical" HyperBook GameCenter (v2.0.1.1) works well, but with yours it keeps throwing blue screen or even doesn't start up. I have 150 W power brick if that's useful information.

Did you try to select the option "No Automatic Tuning" during installation?
The Automatic Tuning is tested only on GTX series. The GTX version manages the undervolt better than the RTX one, for this reason you laptop crash. I need some beta testers with the RTX version to set the correct values for them

    Ciao,

    congratulations for your REV.CENTER 2.0 1.65 !!!

I have tested the Performance mode and it works very well (3.9ghz fixed on all 6 cores and low temperatures for a long time).

    Problems:
    1) When the system starts up, the TryIcon is not loaded (only by starting the rev.center manually).
    2) The keyboard settings are not saved: I set blue monochrome, but when the system reboots, the Christmas tree style lights are back.
Of course, before installing the rev.center I uninstalled the PCS Control Center. I did not use Throttlestop.

ps. I'm not a gamer and I use this laptop for music composition, so I need a lot of cpu and a lot of ram, but I almost do not use the gpu.

    Thank you
