    2014 Razer Blade 14 Ship Date thread

    So you guys would say Microsoft's warranty is definitely worth getting? Also do student discounts end at any point for the microsoft store?

    Just ordered from Microsoft. I did have to go through Internet Explorer and place the order. Before, I tried it with Chrome. Customer Support told me to try to do it through Internet Explorer. I first tried to get it ordered by phone, but as one of the previous posts said, if you order it by phone, they'll tell you it is unavailable.

    My order has been processed and completed, now awaiting shipping. I did not receive any phone call from Microsoft, however I do not think that had anything to do with any order cancellations. I learned back when I pre-ordered my Surface Pro 2 that if your bank holds or declines the charge, Microsoft auto-cancels your order. I lost my place in pre-order line because of that.

    How do you know it was confirmed? I only got the initial email thanking me for my purchase... Did you have to wait the 4 to 6 hours?

    Microsoft sends you a "Thanks for purchasing/Your order is processing" email that states it may take 4-6 hours to process your order. After that, you'll receive a second email stating your order has been confirmed and they will email you upon shipment.

    Edit: Derp, it took them about an hour and 15 minutes to confirm my order. It may have helped I called my bank and confirmed they approved the transaction.

    I would guess if your ordered late enough in their business day you might not get the confirmation order until tomorrow. I know mine won't ship until tomorrow because I ordered at 1PM PST and according to their shipping FAQ you must order before 1PM EST/10AM PST to ship same day.

    Just got the confirmation :thumbsup: Both of ours should ship tomorrow. I opted for the $10 2-day delivery so they said by Friday (Florida).

    Im just saying that this is kinda stupid on razer's part. If they have to go through a distributor like microsoft, even though they have a better delivery system, they lose money on each system, that they are not selling through themselves directly. If it's faster to get it through microsoft, then that is just stupid on their part because they still have to sell them to microsoft. This would only be offset if their shipping fees are less than going through microsoft.

    Me, too. I don't get home until 4:30 so UPS will definitely have delivered by then. I think my head might explode during class.

    Razer will have a nice order cancellation email right around 5:30.

    Yeah, can't believe that. I'll be canceling with Razer tomorrow, and ordering through Microsoft. What absolute crap. =\ Very disappointed in Razer at this point.

    Ha, 'next time'. Hopefully I'll be working and have a job and a nice place, 'next time', and I won't have to rely on some ****ty Razer organisational skills, and instead just have a desktop. The only reason I want a good, portable laptop right now is because I'm graduating and don't have a foreseeable stable income/living situation in the near future. Otherwise I'd be happy with my desktop.

    I wonder how long it took for their stock to go out. My order was processed and accepted a few hours ago. All I have to do is wait for an e-mail about shipping, which should be tomorrow.

    Just got a shipping confirmation email from Razer for my 512GB. FedEx tracking says estimated delivery is Thurs the 8th. Live in the bay area, CA.

    When did you order, if you don't mind saying? I ordered a 256GB March 20, was told on the phone earlier today that my order was shipping today, and as of now I have no email updates or change to my order status. The whole ordering from MS today and getting a laptop before people that pre-ordered direct from Razer has me perplexed and annoyed as hell too. Waiting awhile for a new product to ship is fine with me, but to constantly confirm and then change the ship dates is ing torture! There's some sick s working for Razer customer service haha.

    I'm cancelling my order, guys. It's been delayed to 15 May, and I've decided it's too expensive, after two weeks of mulling it over. I'm going to get a Clevo W230ST 13" laptop instead. Design-wise, it's nowhere near the Blade, but it's powerful, small, comparatively light and user-upgradeable. Thanks for the fun and discussion, I'll keep following just to keep up. Have fun with your Blades.

    I actually WISHED at 11:11 yesterday that it would ship! #prayersanswered2k14

    But really, next time I'm buying from Razer I'll keep in mind I'll get butt hurt having to wait several weeks like this..

    Looks like the MS store is already out of stock. Grr ... Guess it's still waiting until the end of May/June. At least we know where the last batch went to.

    Still can't believe people who ordered the first week haven't gotten their Blades yet. It really really makes me wonder if they're doing it in order, or if they've really only gotten so few units in.

    Unfortunately, that's not how pre orders typically work. However, at this point, I'm not sure Razer is honoring their "first come first serve" mantra. I still can't believe people who ordered March 12 haven't gotten theirs yet. That's 8 weeks of waiting, not to mention every order after them.

    It seems like Razer is having some very serious supply chain problems, seeing as how few orders have been fulfilled. I'm really starting to wonder if mid-June is a better estimate for my ship date, considering I ordered relatively late (4/4).

    Ordered from Microsoft last night, order was shipped by 8AM this morning, will have it tomorrow.

    Cancelled my Razer 512GB order, it is just taking WAY too long and they can't provide any reliable information on a date. You ask 4 different agents and get 4 different dates, none of which are correct.

    I owned a 256GB Razer, the original 2011 17" Blade.

    256GB is not enough for me. I will wait patiently for the 512GB.

    There is a GIGABYTE ultrablade laptop, also 14 in, similar to the blade in shape and size and spec (minus the QHD+ touchscreen), less so in aesthetics. But it's said the fans get quite loud. That might be a decent alternative. Check it out on XOTICPC:

    Man I am getting a bit impatient with Amazon. June-July shipping is not going to work but I missed the damn MS deal. I would cancel and go with Razer but the 256gb version is still showing as pre order. This is sucking. I ordered April 18th :(

    I ordered at the end of March a 256gig, and am still waiting with "order in process." I had talked with customer support on Monday and they assured me it would be shipping on Tuesday or Monday night, but nothing. This is a little bit crazy on their end.

    I simply cannot believe ordering from Microsoft yesterday and people will get theirs within a day. Furthermore, I'm more disappointed because I am a college student but go to a small engineering college, and was not able to get a student discount.

    Yesterday I actually put the order for one with Razer thinking they were in stock. Today, early in the morning, I was greeted by an email saying that "As indicated during checkout, one or more of the products you ordered is currently unavailable and cannot be shipped. You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped."

    So... yeah, it seems it actually is back ordered.
