Westchester Mall. I'm not sure if they have the 512gb. She only came out with the 256gb, never offered me an option. They could have them in stock if others are picking up 512 versions from MS stores.

They're not supposed to be available for purchase yet. That's why They're "not in stock"
At least that's what I Got from talking to the guy I talked to .

Based on the info I got from the store manager, they are not available for purchase until Sunday. The sales associate needed approval to sell me one today.

I was driving back to DC from Philadelphia and decided to stop at the Microsoft store in Newark, DE since there's no sales tax in the state. I think the receipt speaks for itself. [IMG]

It'd be a huge favor if you check the stores in DC for me. I don't wanna waste 4 hours trip for nothing. I just want anyone in DC to confirm the availability. This is frustrating :(

This confuses me greatly. I just got off the phone with the MS rep who called the Century City Store and talked to the manager who said they are only carrying the 256GB. They said they have not got any 512s. You bought the 512GB at Century City LA? How did you get them to verify that they had a 512GB in stock?

Return it and buy a 256GB online from MS. Provide a .edu address get 10% off, say recent grad get additional $100. Free Shipping. Likely to come out way less than even if you have to pay to ship yours back to Razer for a full refund. Profit.

Sadly MS removed the blade from the online store, I would order one right now, I am not a student but do happen to have a .edu email address and would kill to order one of these things if they were still online!

For people who live in Vancouver, Metrotown's Microsoft Store has Razer Blade 256GB in stock (10% student discount). They do not have it out for demo yet, so you actually need to ask them to bring it out for you.

Success!! I've been lurking on these forums for a while now ever since i ordered my 256 gb blade on 4-10. Still hasn't shipped and I've been getting the run around like the rest of you from Razer though I can't complain actually they were quite pleasant with me. anyway, got my blade yesterday. how you ask? well after MS sold out online I decided to call around to MS store in Los Angeles low and behold they had four at the MS store on Santa Monica one in Costa Mesa. I took off early from work, as a teacher, and flew over to the Santa Monica store and bought it. The reps there had no idea that it was the new blade and not the 2013 model, but I knew its graphic card and screen. Bought it and I am extremely stoked. Had no trouble cancelling Razer Blade order and now I am a proud early adopter.so if you don't want to wait I suggest calling the MS stores in your city, you might get lucky, just know the specs

It's not officially released, I'm guessing. They put the product online but haven't linked the page yet. That's why you can't find it if you search. Although that they don't let us preorder is a Bit annoying, they might just have permission to do so or something.

what do you guys think? should i cancel my razer order and buy it from the microsoft online store when it is in stock? My invoice for the 256 GB is $2661 if I buy 512 GB from microsoft store it might even be cheaper with the student discount.

Assuming MS gets it relatively soon, it should be $370 dollars less than full price (10% off 2699.99 and then - $100)

Don't know if I should laugh or cry but Razer is really more worried about MS getting their order instead of their own customers who have been waiting for 2 months. I got this from the support:

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience on this delay, as we cannot control the fulfillment on the amount that will be available in our warehouse. If you want, we can cancel your order and reverse the amount back to your account. Currently, Microsoft Store has a shipment of their set of orders of the 2014 Razer Blade that came out today that you can purchase from any of their store. Please let us know if you have any other questions in a reply to this e-mail, and have a great day.

    Best Regards,
    Razer Support Team

Love how non-specific Razer support was, they did not spell out whether MS stores will have the 512GB as of the 'release' today or if they will only have the 256GBs that they have been selling

Wow, that's unacceptable IMO. I'm going to write an email to Razer asking why they're supplying the Microsoft Store with 512GB Razer Blade's while I'm still waiting for my pre-order (placed the day it was announced, 2 months ago) to ship. I see now how much Razer cares about their customers.

EDIT: Looks like it's not up on the Canadian Microsoft Store yet.

MS charged me for Tax though, Razer did not. I ended up paying 150 dollars more on MS...

Just got my Razer Blade from the MS Store (256 GB edition). Typing this on it now. WOW is this an amazing laptop. I haven't used a high-performance laptop in a long time and this makes me wonder what I have been missing! The laptop feels amazing, sounds great, amazing picture quality. Now I just have to get used to Windows 8.1....

    Now to download ESO!

Just called Razer support over this and B*TCHED them out. Got a free upgrade to overnight shipping out of it just because I said I was so close to cancelling. He said the upgrade request might go through in time if it ships monday but in the "unlikely" case that it is delayed again I will definitely be getting overnight shipping. I am SO done with this bull.

On the one hand, Razer Support has been good to me over the years. If the laptop ships from Razer and it ends up having a problem out of the box they usually do a cross-ship RMA.

On the other, it's RIGHT THERE IN THE MS STORE!

You can get a 5% off coupon code for the MS Store from Bing. It works with both the Blade and Microsoft Complete. For just about the same price as buying from the Razer store with express shipping, I got it with next day shipping and Complete.

After proclaiming I would be 100% Razer Blade I have recanted. My 256gb is scheduled to ship May 16th. Unfortunately, the debit card I used to make the order was skimmed at a gas station and has been canceled. Two Razer CS folks said I would have to cancel this current order and start a new order. I would be starting at the back of the que meaning I may not see the Blade until June.

I took another hard look at the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 052. I have concerns about random build quality issues but I have also read multiple reviews from buyers and tech websites stating it was an excellent buy. I visited LA this week and a local shop had the Pro 052 in stock.

I compared it directly with the New Blade Pro. Frankly, the MSI build quality was less than the Blade Pro but the it was a nominal difference.

After adding a Crucial 512gb SSD and IC Diamond is was still $250 less than the New Blade 256gb. And, it will be here on Friday the 14th.

I am looking forward to the Ghost getting here. I will take a look at Razer next year.

I ended up paying less with the student discount on MS store for the 512GB. Now I just sent an email to CS to cancel my order. Is that all it takes?
